Accuracy

Message says it all. I think and have heard that accuracy effects range. But doesn't attack also effect range? My ranger is still in the primarily bow stage, waiting for some more AAs and a better weapon to move back to melee, so I want as effective archery as possible. Of course I have the earring of lushest foliage, but no can't decide whether to keep my fiercely hooked claw or buy or camp a ragepaw hunter loop [link=https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=45618]. I guess I could try them out and compare, but without parsing, I think it would be hard to tell the difference. If anyone has any insight as to how accuracy works as opposed to attack, please fill those of us in that don't! Thanks.
