1. Max skill is 300. (poison making and any tradeskill). You can find recipes right here on ZAM. Go to
the homepage. Click on Database. Click on Receipes. Click on Recipe Search. Fill in the search
boxes; Poisonmaking, Rogue, 345 (skill level). Click search. You will get a list of 1,461 recipes.
eqtrader.com is another good site for info. Recipies and zones where dropped ingreients are found.
2. Skill can be raised to 345 by obtaining "Peerless Pestle". This item is obtained by doing the "Master
Toxologist Quest, which gets you the Master Toxologist Trophy, which gets you the "Peerless Pestle".
Equipping this item gives you plus 15% poison making skill. See NPC Baublie Diggs in West Freeport.
There are 7 levels of trophies. I only did the last one because I was already at skill level 300 when
the new system implemented. I made "Spirit of Sloth until skill level 280, and then "Soulburn" to
level 300. I still have my "Grand Master Assassins Seal". Skill-up points become very difficult at
the higher levels (2% -3% per 100 combines). It took me 1,200 combines to evolve the "Peerless Pestle"
from 0% to 100%.
3. The new system has 3 kinds of poison
a) ROGUE ONLY DAMAGE - Level I (1) to XVI (16) As a level 83 Rogue I am able to make level XIV (14)
poisons. I will move to level XV (15) poisons when I reach level 85. I can buy damage poison in
the POK (West Trader Building - Poison Shop); or make damage poison. All ingredients, except mob
drops are available in the poison shop. There are different flavors of damage poison.
b) ROGUE ONLY UTILITY - LEVEL I (1) to XV (15) There are about 8 different poisons with different
effects that are used in combat. You can have 1 damage; and 1 utility poison applied at the
same time. Utility poisons are made in 2 steps. The dropped ingredient is processed into a vial
of liquid extract. The extract is then combined with the other ingredients necessary for the
final poison.
c) ALL/ALL - LEVEL I (1) to XV (15) There are 2 different types; "SPIDER'S BITE" and "SCORPION'S
AGONY". They have one dropped ingredient. These are made by the Rogue, but can be used by any
character.
d) I suggest spending time with the recipe list.
d) There are also "AUGMENTS" and "TONICS" that I will not address in this post
Hope this helps.
