Dopplegangers are monsters that assume another identity. These creatures are found in Griegs end. 50+ level zone.
Perhaps this does damage to those in Illusion form.... poor Enchanters, Bards, and Rogues... they were really enjoying their Masks and Illusions and whatnot... oh well.. I'm probably wrong anyway =)

Shape shifting is an ability which I would like someone who has tried it to explain to me. At this time I know nothing about this skill and look forward to hearing from others of you who can illuminate me.

Hmmmm... I smell something delightfully rotten and devious afoot, when the high and mighty, self-proclaimed Lord and Master of all Trolldom is investigating the possibility of shape-shifting.
Could it be that His Nastiness is looking to step out in disguised form to affect the seduction and subversion of all the fair elven maidens?
Could it be that His Infectiousness wishes to travel incognito in order to survey his vast holdings and check on the progress of the spread of disease and other loathsome goings on?
Could it be that His Disgustingness is secretly scheming to infiltrate Rivervale to establish a fast food joint catering to Trolls where the speciality will be Halflings in Jumjum Sauce?
Or might it be that His Ickiness grows so weary of his vast bulk and the horrified stares of the goodly folk he encounters that he seeks some subtle trick by which he may blend in and cause less of a stir as he travels about?
Aid this fellow at your own peril lest you end up an entree served up on toast smothered in a disgusting gravy! You have been duly warned.
