All ingredients are also available at Crescent Reach.

Alchemists
Anum (Measure of Wolf Blood, Birthwort and Fenugreek)
Zahra (Plain Potion Vial and Bugbane)

They are right next to each other so you can stand between them and not have to move to but from both.

Is there a difference in the effect of the different lvls of SoW potions? I understand you may want to make the higher philter of wolf potions so you can up your skill. But as far as how they work... they are all for 36 minutes, right? Do the higher lvls make you faster or something?

I just made a ton of Philter of wolf II. It cost me about 100pp to make 33 of them and my skill is not that high (I just hit 100). So I am paying only 3 - 4 plat per potion, which is cheap in my book. So once you get your alchemy level up high... and you are not concerned with advancing it anymore. Why not just make the cheaper ones if they perform the same??

The potion gives the effect Spirit of Wolf which Allakhazam describes as "Increase Movement by 34% (L9) to 55% (L50)"

The level 1 potion increases speed by 34% and the highest level (i believe level 5?) increases your speed by 55%. So, yes, the higher levels are faster.

Considering a level 9 shamman's SoW will increase movement by 34% if that same shamman trained his skill high enough to make the level 5 potions he would be able to use the level 50 version of SoW by using potions instead of spells (of course the potions cost money to make, so I guess it depends how badly you want the extra speed).

SOE said alchemy was going to be less expensive, i dont see how when thay add more ingrediants :(
i made 40 Philter of the wolf IV and the componets cost me 500 plat ( no fails when making)
that is a cost of 12 plat 8 gold each to make,
how do thay figure it's cheeper when the old Blood of the wolf cost me 8 plat each to make?
just adding my 2 copper.

Including the 1 in 20 fail rate you always get (even for a GM Alchemist such as myself) it's costing me 4 plat, 6 gold and 8 silver to make one Philter of Wolf IV.

That's with CHA100 buying all ingredients from the suppliers in PoK.
