Do you mean that your pottery skill was 55 and you successfully made the Unfired Mixing Bowl?
ok first thing to make the mixing bowl you need to make the unfired mixing bowl
Large Block of Clay (2)
Large Bowl Sketch (1)
Water Flask (1)
Trivial 128
then take the unfire mixing bowl to a kiln with the firing sheet and combine trivial 15
wow aint that a nice gap...FAR FROM 17!!
I couldn't figure out why with my pottery skill of 54 kept failing...since you know this recipe says trivial 17...so I ventured to eqtraders they post its trivial 128 which makes sense on why I failed 23 combines and had my skill go up...lol

Mixing bowl is Trivial at 17.

I tried making mixing bowl same but said not able to combine. It is same as large bowl w/o the glass shard. Don't think it was the potter wheel at PoK.

Apparently Telepath did not try to make one of these... You had it right man, but the ingredients above are wrong,,
The correct ingredienst should be (using the pottery wheel) 2 Large blocks of clay,1 water flask,1 large bowl sketch,, gives you unrefinded mixing bowl,,,Then
(In the Kiln) combine 1 unrefined mixing bowl and 1 firing sheet.....gives you 1 mixing bowl

that is most likely because you only used (1) large block of clay and it called for (2) large blocks of clay...
