Just did the fletching quest in Abysmal Sea so I could work with these rocks and each time I combined 1 Chunk of Taelosian Rock in my fletching kit I only recieved 1 Taelosian Stone in return.
I was able to do the fletching quest in Abysmal last night with my Sk in about an hour....Its pretty easy......just takes time as you get 4 tasks and have to turn in 100 of each item on the 4 tasks, 4 at a time......NPC will give you everything you need.
This drops occasionally from all the mobs I've killed in Natimbi, Souls, Hynids, Crags, even Stonemites and Warfiends. It is also on the forage table, so you can forage in that area and find those rocks.
The rocks sell for about 30pp each in the bazaar on Terris Thule.

I ave a couple of these now. It says you lack the knowledge to work with this material. My fletchhing skill is currently 186. Wat does it mean?
You have to complete the Fletching Quest for GoD tradeskills to work. They're easy. Just takes a bit of time.

You must complete one of the Fletching quests in the Abysmal Sea, either the Freebie (all ingredients given to you, but you must do many more combines) or the Collect (you collect the ingredients and do fewer combines).
