ok buy "Arms & Armor of Ethernere" from Scribe Zikett in PoK and then open the book and click "scribe". Now head to your Guild Hall and use the loom, in the search bar do a search for "Touch of the ...." highlight it and hit combine. Worked for me. BTW the "aligned steel thread" was NOT needed for the combine.

After scribing the book the recipe does work. Also works in a feir'dal sewing kit. But you have to search for the recipe. For some reason it doesn't work in experiment mode.

You have to buy and scribe "Arms & Armor of Ethernere" (~26pp) from Scribe Zikett in PoK in order to search for the recipe, and combine from there...

Still doesn't work. Can't combine in any container.
