This combine still works as of today, 01/13/2010.
I was able to successfully make the combination with a skill of only 116 on my second attempt. I only failed it one time, but that doesn't matter, since I only needed one.
To Make This Item You Must Be A Wood Elf.
This item can only be made in Kelethin (Greate Faydark)
The are 2 oven here the oven you want to use is Feir`dal Forage. If you have your Eq maps it will show you where the oven is at. If not use the Location it will get you there.

If you are making this item as a low lvl. open oven then click on Experiment line everything on left side up and down in order they why it tell you to.

Successfully made combination on 4th try with a skill of 100. Found all the ingredients at the smith supply merchants in Kelethin.
This combine still works as of today, 12/30/2005.
I was able to successfully make the combination with a skill of only 54 on my second attempt. The other four attempts failed, but that doesn't matter, since I only needed one.
I tried several different forges, many of which told me that I could not make the combination - or that my race could not make the combination - in that container type.
The forge on platform #22 does allow the combine. Nothing is returned on a failed attempt.
This combination can be done at any level, regardless of Smithing skill level, although you are much more likely to succeed with more Smithing skill, and more likely to learn from the experience with more Dexterity and Wisdom/Intelligence. I hope this clears up some of the misunderstandings.

you need to go to the forge on the 2nd level.. dont use it continue on up one more level from there .. there is another forge up one level from the forge you are trying to use.. took me awhile to discover this.. made the kit and knife in the forge there so i know that it works... uilladar

OK, Whats Up, i found the forge but it said i can't make this container there and i'm using your recipe

What forge do you use to make this ?
You need to be a Wood Elf, and you need to use the Wood Elf cultural forge in Kelethin, found on platform #22 on the EQAtlas map.
