The raw materials for this multi-tradeskill combine cost 29pp, 3g, 1s, 1 c per prismatic dye vial. It takes both brewing and tailoring to make. At a decent 10% failure rate on both tradeskills, it costs approximately 33pp to make. Now they are selling for 40pp in the bazaar. I am not sure it is worth making anymore.

It's Brewery and Pottery. Not tailoring.

prismatic dye can be made in a medicine bag by a shaman same ingredients and trivial

I spent an hour in Gunthak tonight making vials of prismatic dye. When I started, my brewing was at 64 and I had NO skill points in pottery. (I didn't know pottery was involved. I spent a few minutes making easy stuff to get my potter above 50.) I spent 1200pp on supplies in Gunthak (for glaze lacquer, prism shards, and the stuff for making the dye vials.) about 30% of my trials failed. I was a little bummed - but then I took my successful stack of vials to the bazaar. I was really suprised - nobody else was selling them. I sold a stack faster than I could bink - for 100pp each... 800pp profit for a new skill - not bad. I'll be brewing up some more soon. It was a good experience for me!

Tackled 10 of these with 102 pottery, took m,e about 2 hours to get that, and 88 Brewery with 155 Dex, 144 Wisdom, and 255 Intelligence at level 34. I only got 5 when all the combines were done, can't see how I can make the profit, Do not reccomend making these unless you have atleast 150 in pottery and brewery.
Um you spent a lot of money. Your wis and int must not be that great. Brewing is the cheapest tradeskill, espcially so for a hfl dru.

You are better off just buying this in the bazaar for 50pp each unless you already have a high brewing and pottery skill. I spent well over 1100pp to get those skills over 60 (dye is trivial at 52). Even at trivial, I failed 9 times out of 10 to make this stuff. 1100pp and only 1 vial to show for it.
Ended up spending just 250 for 5 vials in the bazaar. Save your money.

Dont know what you did wrong mate - i just did 1 to 122 lvl pottery in 3-4 hours for 55p - if interested in how let me know

I'd be very interested in knowing how you got your pottery skill up for not much pp. I'm just starting out in pottery and kinda strapped for funds - any help would be great!

All four items can be found on Cadale Brokat in Gulf of Gunthak. Also there is a brew barrel and pottery thingy in this area to do combines.
