i have tried this research combo many times, was successful once, it made Sunstrike, thought i messed up, tried it again, made Sunstrike again, checked Sunstrike components, they are the same. If someone knows the correct combo will you please post it.

Sunstrike uses 1 x Ink of Pain, while Garrison's Superior Sunder uses 2 x Ink of Pain.

I just made this attempt today, 6/17/08 on CT server, I used (1) Ink of Pain, and i got the Spell Sunstrike. I did not have another papyrus to try (2) Inks of Pain.
Also, EQTraders has Sunstrike using (1) Ink, and Garrison's using (2) Inks. It appears that both sites have the recipes correct.
I am a 300 researcher with Expert Trophy and 1 Rank in Arcane Tongues.

Oops, I got them backwards in my description. Sunstrike requires 1, while Garrison's uses 2. Edited my original post above.
