My husband wants us to create a frog char. He is creating a cleric and wants me to either create a pally or warrior. Which one would make the best combination/team: Cleric/Pally or Cleric/Warrior. Which would be the easiest and/or most fun for me to play? I have to admit playing a warrior appeals to me since I've only played casters before, but I want the best combination since we always play together....thanks for your help.

I think Cleric/Warrior will be a better combination. Since some of the spells of Cleric and Pally are the same.

I assume you have already created this character, if not the Clr/War combo is best. The war far exceeds the Pally damage at the lower levels. Once you hite level 30, you will be grouped anyways and the other classes will fill in the lack of dps the war brings to the table. I 2 box both a clr/war and a pally/dru. The clr/war is an amazing pair.

I play a Froggy cleric and warrior. Both are well suited with basic stats. Cleric put the 30 points on Sta/Wis and that nearly beats the Dwarven cleric stats...i like the agility/dex bonus Froggies get. The Warrior has a good Sta and a decent Str. Str is just so easy to build up these days with gear so i spent almost all of my points on Sta. He's level 25 now and can get crits of 150 (2hs) 80 (1hs) and hits normal at about 70 (2hs) and 40 (1hs) am trying to get his other skills up just takes for ever at later levels...so expans your offensive skills early on and keep them even...learn from my mistakes.
Froglok warriors are much underlooked Dex and Agi is up there with Str and Sta. I cannot agree with you more on placing you points quota into Stamina. That is by far the hardest stat to come by in the game. My best friend has a Froglok warrior and at one stage I used to have an Ogre warrior. My skills went up slower then then a snail in reverse whilst my friends was racing away, even lapping me I guess. Considering Dual wield comes into it to I would now have to say Frogloks make the best warriors.

Every froglock I have grouped with is are always un trust worty. I belive that people who play froglocks are not immature but just hyper, were as someone that plays a high elf is more mello. But thats just me
This is a reply to two posts. First, Jorgan. I'm a froglok, and I'd better be calm and trustworthy! I'm a cleric. I've grouped with several people, who then begged me to rejoin them when they see me in the zone next time. I don't ask for donations after summoning food or drink, healing, or buffing someone who isn't in my group. If any of this sounds untrustworthy to you, then you need to loosen up a bit. Now, second, gageallenbates... lol... quick change of heart there, eh'? First you hate the frogloks, then you wana be one? Well, first, I think kicking the trolls out of Grobb was a blessing, as innothule is possibly the worst newbie ground in the game. Now they get to start in Neriak, and they'll have a much bigger town, better newbie ground, and wider range of classes to group with early on. Innothule is perfectly suited to the frogloks, anyway. What with their underwater breathing, ultravision, and 125 starting swimming. Second, they can be warriors, paladins, shamans, clerics, and wizards. Their best is undoubtedly paladin, though, as their stats are perfect for that class in every category. Dwarves are close, and only have a little more strength, but they don't have all the other high stats frogloks have and they don't have all the racial abilities.

Yeah i'm just ticked that you stuipd frogs sent the trolls into my hometown lol. Anyway I ment the ones I have grouped with, at least on my server. But really it's just the rage built up from the trolls =( grrrr.... Next time the frogs kick a race outta of their home plz just kill off that race.

Does any body know what all classes a froglok can be and what is best?
Frogloks can be a Warrior, Paladin, Shaman, Cleric or Wizard.
As far as best goes i'd say Warrior IMHO.
But race nor class matter at higher levels.

Curious if anyone else would want to make a Froglok Ranger? Seems like they would be quite interesting, since they uphold Honesty while they valiantly protect Nature's beasts =) Maybe sometime after GoD's release; Gnomes and Halflings became Paladins and SKs and Rangers, so maybe there's hope.
In game type, type /feedback and state anything you'd like done such as this. Probably get a ton of /feedbacks a day and GMs are never on, but worth a shot.

i have a level 28 warrior froglok he is pritty good he is tuff as nails but can hit only 30s tops

Hello, my frog is a pally and i am level 5. i couldnt get anyone to take my scroll (or letter) at the beginning of the game. who am i suppose to give it to.

As for as i know you distroy your note. When I tryed to give it to the Paly guildmaster he gave it back and said he had no use for it.

You give it to one of your guildmasters. They are the people with the words "<your class> Guildmaster" under their name. In exchange you get a little exp and a chest piece of armor.

not exactly...frogs are supposed to hail their gms...the note is just for aesthetics. most don't even get an armor piece until later. hail gm for details.
I lost my brooch in Guk and couldn't get it back. How do I get another one so I can get a soulstone?

The site says that Frogloks have a natural Isidious Decay. How do you use it? I would love to balst a foe with it. And we should treat humans as friends. The last thing we need is another race that is bigger than use to turn agin use.

My Pally Froglok's last quest(at least I think last) is to get a troll head. What lvl r the trolls and can u buy a troll head? If so where? I just buy one and make things easy.

The trolls range from approx 6-11. (scouts are 6 and don't drop the head ever)
I'm being generous here tho.
The first time i saw one i was 6. They were all yellow. Except a couple of invaders were red.
And the scouts who never drop the head you need were white mostly.
Now at 10. I see only white, tops. However, I'm reluctant to say that there CANNOT be a lvl 11 troll out there somewheres.
So, just to be safe, 8-11. The scouts never drop the head, only the invaders and raiders do.
The raiders hit for about 20 max. and Invaders for 25-30 max.
As far as I've seen.

I think that froglok shamans are the best and look the best i jest got the first five exspantions and i am getting eq2 and the other exspantions
Hey i got a question for you guys. I have a lvl 6 warrior froggy who got his hands on Stormfeather Talons (1h 8/23 +5str+5dex+5agil) its a secondary slot item. The problem is i cant equip it on me. The weapon states war rog and race: all - Am i to young to equip this? do i need duel weild skill 1st?

the starting stats for a melee frog are awsome, all the stats are really high, but it comes out of charisma, we have the language skills of an ogre =( but i made a frog warrior and am loveing it. frogs are under rated, they need more credit. i sure as hell wouldnt want a frog putting the beatdown on my ***, but that wont happen, CUZ I AM ONE. YAY!

Do we frogs have their own cultural armor or do we have to share with those useless humans? I'm a frog and love it :) Or maybe we should make humans make us the armor as slaves since frogs rule all :) I like on the KB server so I never get to see many cultural armors so would never know if frog cultural armors ever existed. I don't want to set foot in another server ATM so I can't go from server to server searching. Also it should be a good dark black color (even though we're nice :) ) instead of some lime green color (Full Mithril armor) or anything else that doesn't look good with a black shield :) (sorry if my post is hard to understand I like to talk weird :) and excuse anything else that is odd I like being odd as well :) (not ure if I'm good at it though :) ) ) Hehe all those smiles makes everything look weird...
