Prerequisite : Being at the right point in the Invading Ice quest. Say "capture a spider" to Hursa Brightsteel. If you require another harness, say 'Capture a terror' to Hursa again. Hursa Brightsteel says, 'I have just the thing, but spiders are very good at escaping sticky situations. So you will want them weak and hindered when you try and put this on one of those creepy crawlies.' You will need to gather supplies to make the spider harness. Gather the terror tentacles, spinnerets, and fish oil.
Kill terrors and loot 3x Terror Tentacle. Kill spiders and loot 2x Crystal Spider Spinneret. Kill velium crawlers and loot 1x Velium Infused Fish Oil. Crystal Spider Capture Harness is put in your inventory upon turning in the above items -- no action needed. Your task 'Spider Harness' has been updated Hursa Brightsteel nods at you. took a 115 chanter dire charmed one that guard was killing. by the time charm hit it was a 0%. walked it to room, cast heals to 5% (just in case ds hit) casted invs and root really quick. glued it, harnessed it. it was rooted to back wall due to a knockback root. thought damn its too far in how can i brake the root. before i could load a low lvl root that would one last a min. i got update. i think it took about 10 15 sec for it to register.
Just got this today and it is not a group task but a solo one.
I am sure there are loads of ways but here was mine, made it safer imho
For Spiders
1. I stood JUST inside of town (as you come up the ramp). Pulled the single spider just around the corner
2. Cleared the one roaming rock guy to get into the room, (where the stupid guard goes and kills the spiders lol)
3. pulled the spider + spiderlings to town and killed them
4. Rinse repeat. They dropped allot so if you have more than 1 guy, just loot 1 on each guy then let the bodies stack up until you have all you need..
For Terrors
1. I ran back to the bridge thats broken
2. went to the other side and went around the pillar
3. pull the one in front of me, pull the one to the right, pull the roamer that comes in the room, pulled the one to the left and the other to the left
4. left the bodies, as each one seemed to drop 5, looted them and done..
For fish
1. Fish I hated because i dropped right into the water where i was at the pillar, pulled.. got the 3 (guess they are chained). exodused out and came backv
2. Invised, and dropped into the water to the right (if you are facing away from the way to town)
3. go into the tunnel. go PAST the first fish you see and immediatley setup in the hallway past him
4. pull him its single kill him (loot or dont whatever)
5. now just have your puller keep moving further in and other single fish is there
each fish dropped either 9 or 10 because of the number of guys i have..

"IF YOU LOOSE YOUR HARNESS I was able to say capture a terror again and get a new harness" ................................I pulled spider into room waited 10 min or more and he never depopped or updated quest....I went in and out of the room over and over... tried other empty rooms... nothing... after 20 min I gave up and logged..... logged back in , tried the "capture a terror", nothing.... had to do the quest again.

Just doing this now. You need to finish the spider portion before you can say "capture a terror". If you lose the spider one you have to redo the spider harness portion.
I lost my spider harness when a guard came by and killed it as I was clicking. I went back to Hursa to see if capture a spider would return a harness. It did not, so I have to complete the Spider Harness quest again to get the items I need.
