This quest is offered after you complete the Orc Runner quest.

You need will need high faction (how high?) to do this quest. Speak with the Paladin guildmaster, Lord Jyleel, in the basement of the Paladin guild. He wants you to prove yourself a faithful Paladin of the court.

General Jyleel says, 'So, the Teir'Dal are behind the recent advances of the orcs?!! Your news has shed light on their union. It is time to step forth and prove yourself a [faithful paladin of this court].'

You say, 'I am a faithful paladin of this court'

General Jyleel says, 'I command you to seek out this Ambassor D`Vinn and rip his heart from his lifeless body. Next, find the supreme caster of the orcs and, finally, find the spot where supplies are dropped by the Teir`Dal for the orcs. There you should find the supply crate. Return all 3 items and you shall wield the falchion.'

The heart of Ambassador Dvinn (found in Crushbone)

Blue Orc Head (from the Orc Prophet in Crushbone)

A Large Locked Crate (dropped by Brawn in the Ocean of Tears - about 22nd level - on the rocks with the Sirens just as you enter the Ocean of Tears from Faydwer).

Bring the items back to Jyleel.

General Jylell says, 'A noble deed has been done and the alliance of evil has been stalled. I present you with the falchion of the Koada`Vie. You are now an honorable member of our order. Hail Felwithe, and may you defender her with honor.'
Your faction standing with Clerics of Tunare got better.
Your faction standing with King Tearis Thex got better.
Your faction standing with Anti-Mage got better.
You gained experience!!

Receive Falchion of the Koada`Vie.

Just so everyone knows, this quest is NOT given after you do the orc runner quest. What starts it is a note that the Orc Runner sometimes drops. When you turn THIS note into General Jyleel, the quest is spawned.

When you con him, he has to look on you warmly or kindly. The best way to do it is the quest called "muffins for pandos". It took me 300 muffins for Jyleel to con kindly. Finally got my falchion. :)

When I went to the ocean of tears, Brawn was already there. He is a huge ogre? (I didn't get that close) that conned red to me at level 19. On the rock that is was standing is a troll? named nebirik? that conned yellow. When I found them, they were not on the same rock as the sirens.

To all you who think this quest is crappy because it yields a shamefully weak reward:

Well, Rogues who do the Burning Rapier quest don't HAVE to do the Burning Rapier quest(at least not way into the later levels when they can get Ragebringer). The reward is, by today's standards, pretty weak and you could buy something better in the bazaar easily. But still, there are rogues who do that quest. Why? Because they're actually trying to prove their worth as a rogue through deeds, not through the 175/17 Dagger of Major Uberity their level 65 paladin picked up for them in the Bazaar. It's the same with the Falchion. I'm going to do this quest because it shows I'm worthy of wielding a holy sword such as this, no matter how weak or strong it is.

There is, however, a use for the burning rapier quest - to get the Grandmaster Assassin's Seal needed for making 5 and 10 shot poisons.

Also, in the original epic quest, it was intended that you needed to do the Burning Rapier quest in order to finish it, which explains Stanos' speech about redemption at the end. However, they messed it up and people could do the quest without doing the burning rapier subquest at all, so not many bothered.

Not that it affects the purpose of your rant, just wanted to correct a point in my own pedantic way :P

You don't have to do the Orc Runner quest to start this. You must have atleast "Warmly" faction with Lord Jyleel in Felwith Paladin guild.

You can raise your faction with Felwith Paladins by doing "Muffins for Pandos" and raise your faction with Pandos by doing Orc Belts in Kaladim.

Black Heart off DVinn and Blue Orc Head off "The Prophet" are both found where Emporer Crush spawns in the tower of the main house in Crushbone.

Brawn is found at /loc 195, 9526. You must kill the Sirens to get him to spawn.

Turn in the heart, head and a large locked crate to Jyleel for your Falchion.

Its not a great weapon, but it is a Holy Blade.

Would you all stop complaining about twinks!? How can you say all twinks dont deserve their items cuz they didnt earn them? atleast 90% of the people in EQ are twinked from their own characters who they WORKED ON to get up to the higher levels of 50+. and that newbie who thinks he knows everything talking about dual wielding Wurmy??? what are u on its a primary only, you could get a wurmy by level 15 easy if u save up and maybe do some tradeskills(seeing how it can be bought for 400pp on some servers) and at level 3? who gets dual wield at level 3 newb... dont talk unless u know what you are talkin' about!

Nice to know you can use someone else's information to help you beat up on a new person. Notice that the guy who posted below him already stated what long term players already know. Instead of beating up on the new people, why don't you try helping them understand better?

Or at least think up your own information that isn't already posted.

Idea: Make all the uber twink items and all the kick *** equipment, weaps, shields armor and EVERYTHING that ANYONE wants to have...

no drop.

No one buys no one sells there is no market there is no economy, CAUSE YOU CAN'T SELL THE AWESOME ****! So all the market and everyhting reverts to making Banded mail the uber twink stuff

good idea, ne?
after all, if you can't sell it, that makes all the other stuff MUCH more expensive and attractive. Think about it. Talk to Verant about it. 3rd level Warriors wouldn't be dual wielding Wurmslayers and God knows what. no twinkage of godly items.

Hmmmm... The only way to get "twinked" is to earn enough money to buy it. Therefore if you are low enough and it takes forever to earn that amount you have earned the item. Or if you already have a high lvl character that twinks his alts, you've earned it by getting to that lvl on your first character. Plus I agree with CheesySnax. You should learn what your talking about before you try and make a point.

I earned all of my Pallies gear. With my Druid. Heh hee! The thing is, twinking only helps to get through the lower levels faster so you can get up into the real game.

I don't agree with people twinking that don't learn how to play their alts before they get someone killed with their ignorance though.

If you are gonna twink, at least pay attention and learn how to play your alt correctly.

Everyone asks my alts to join their groups if they have grouped with them once because I play them correctly. Must, I can always find a group with people I have grouped with before.

On subject: This is a decent weapon for a non-twinked Pally. Do the quest, get the weapon if you don't already have better. Check newbie quests first though. Might have some stats on that weapon.

Such as:

Damage: 8
Delay: 29
Ratio: 3.625 Good
Str: +1 Wis: +1
Weight: 5.5
Weapon Skill: One Hand Slash
Classes: Paladin
Races: High Elf Half Elf
Deity: Tunare
Inventory Slot: Primary Melee
Can be stored in Medium and larger containers

His name is Lord (not sure about the lord part) Daelion, he was patheticly easy to kill, and its a minor faction hit. Well actually I killed him at 52 because he had a cool looking sword on him hehe. =) Anyhoo, if you have the Kunark expansion, and you want this item, just ask someone in the zone to kill him.

for those of you out there that, like me, have nothing better to do. I got the Heart of Dvinn a long time ago when i used to fight in Crushbone, and the Blue Orc head a while ago too, but they just sat in the bank... one day I looked up what quest they go to and decided to try it, well for a Dwarf Paladin who serves Brell, faction is a bit hard to achieve. So I started by handing in bone chips at the cleric guild in Felwithe to get my faction up, I think I must have turned in between 15 to 20 stacks of bone chips to get the faction for this quest. My faction is only amiable but I'm assuming it's a pretty high amiable cause it took alot of bonechips after I first hit amiable to get him to give me the quest.
Well anyways, point is that a Dwarf Paladin can do this quest, he doesn't have to be of Tunare deiety. Also here is the exact spawn of Brawn...
pos 210, pos 9410, spawns on the same island as the troll guy... hope it helps anyone who actually takes the time to do this quest, like I said I had nothing better to do.

I'm a 24th Paly on Quellious, and I'm doing this quest, not for the reward of the weapon, but for the pride in serving the Koada'Vie. The name of this game is "EverQuest" not "New World Economics." Sure I can buy a better weapon. Heck, my Ghoulbane(no drop now) blows this away, but I enjoy questing. I have all I need to complete the quest. I have turned in 2 orc runner pouches to Jyleel and lots of Illegible scrolls to him, but still can't get the Falchion quest. Anyone know how high faction needs to be to get it? Also, I follow Brell Serelis, not Tunare. Does anyone know if this quest is only for followers of Tunare? or any noble Paly like myself? I'll never hunt will this weapon but want to finish the quest because it is a Paladin quest, I am worthy and want to prove it to the Koada'Vie. Any help will be appreciated.

But Verant really should take into consideration that the players have themselves created a market. With the orc belts alone i made about 150pp by level 10 with my paladin. So I could easily afford a better weapon. I know a lot of other players are upset with these kind of situations. Would a petition help?

Sorry guys but I too am really disappointed in this quest. Verant has made some bad mistakes recently by adding tons of new upper level weapons but not updating any of their current quests. I know a few guys who have played EQ since the beginning. This used to be an uber-sword in their time and well worth the risk. Unfortunately, it isn't worth it anymore. Like the other guy said, if this was a 10 dam with stats it would definitely be worth it. Just remember that you've probably got enough money to get wayyyy better by lvl 22 (camp unrest, bronze, and fine steel weapons plus occasional ringmail= lots of plat) Dvinn can kick the crap out of a 22 lvl pally even if you used lay hands. The guy hits in the 40's for heavens sake. Plus the drops the dragoon dirk which has better stats than the falchion. You need some serious backup if you're going to try and take him down along with the Prophet (orc wizzy that has the head component) and Emperor Crush who all spawn in the same room. The only thing this quest is worth is faction and maybe exp. ****, smiths can forge better weapons than this and its a no drop so you can't give it away! Way to go Verant, you came up short....again!

First of all, id like to thank those whom posted above me. I am the lvl 21 dwarven cleric, Ollom Hammersong on the Torvonnilous serverm, who was going to do this quest, but now i find that the weapon is no drop, so i shall not. i was going to do this quest and give to a newbie, for the sheer fact that i had the head and heart already. why not go for the whole she-bang, right? anyway, I admit that i accepted handouts. Plenty of people were very kind to me, including my guild, so call me twinked if you must. Some things i bought fairly, other stuff was given, and i freely admit that. and i also admit that when luclin comes out, i have 1 item i shall b giving my new character. But i can see where some of this is post makes sense, if indeed the weapon had a proc, or some would b better. but if I were a dwarf paladin with good enuff faction in Felwithe, **** yea id do this quest, even at lvl 24. Its a magic sword, 6/24. you cant get better sometimes and ****. this is a good fill in! guess ill just destroy the orc head and heart now tho.

Sorry, but as an untwinked 13th level Dwarven Paladin who dumped every penny I had into smithing, I can now forge a ******* Sword for 3-4pp that's actually better than the falchion. I'd like to have the weapon, but nobody will give the time of day to help someone out at my level. Ayonae Ro Server is just riddled with ubertwinks, and I just can't find the kind of support I'd need to actually go out and kill the Orgre for the box. It's sad, but true. This quest is too difficult for most of the people who'd want it.

I did this quest in my mid 20s and was shocked by how much experience was gained by doing it, I recieved half a bubble for it at level 27 and this was back in the day of the 40% Hybrid Experience penelty, so even if the sword rewarded is marginal, it certainly isn't a waste of your time doing
# Oct 26 2001 at 11:53 AM Rating: Decent
When I did the quest, Silvery War Axes were 200+PP each so I could not afford one anyway. I did the quest at 19th and used it until I got Ghoulbane at 27th.

The quest is a good one, but in the days of 50 PP SWA, it is a weak weapon.
Verant We Love Ya, but...
# Sep 18 2001 at 11:28 AM Rating: Decent
Quests with weak rewards is really becomming an issue for many players of EQ. Especially for lower levels... Remember, EQ is still and RPG and the quests at lower levels kinda stink... You have to reward your players with something to keep them interested... Then, by the time you finally get some levels under your belt and you can go on some more exciting quests, the reward is a 6/24 sword with not effects... What the heck is a 22nd level Pally going to do with a 6/24? It is like this with almost (again almost) all of the quests in the game... Just tweak the rewards a little bit... if this weapon was made for 8th level players it would be worth it... or if the sword was 10/24 with +10 or so to mana or hp or +3 to STR or 15% haste or something... it would be a quest worthy of a 22nd level Paladin... Good luck fellow hunters, May Tunare guide you...

Well, the idea of tweeking the rewards is long
overdue but means nothing to the newbies in
and around Kelethin on the Tunare Server. The higher level PCs have gotten so weathly off selling all of their plunder and managed to ruin
the market value of every item in E.Q. when they
got DUMB and started giving too many items away for LOW prices and often for free.
I work hard too earn pp,buy a good item,only
to see every low level newbie have the same item
less than a week later.What the ****?

The reason this quest "sucks", as everyone says, is because of the economy and all the supertwinks running around.

Sure you can get a sporalli defenders blade for a few hundred, or this or that, etc etc, but in an environment where things arent given out to players before they could otherwise earn it, it is much more valuable.

If you view the in-game quests in that light it makes a big difference. My all natural paladin on seventh hammer ( using a rusty halberd till 7th level when I bought a fine steel ) completed this quest at high teens with a group of friends and I loved the weapon. Unique look, decent stats, etc.

My new bard on Firiona Vie, just completed the fleshy orb quest, another quest which supposedly "sucks" becuase it hands out only a fine steel weapon. Compared to the rusty I was able to beat a baddie down for at that level or the bronze I could buy, this was an excellent reward.

I dont believe Verant is wrong for gearing the quests and rewards to the level of what an untwinked newbie should be able to get. Try starting from scratch again, with no twinks, no begging, no "gifts" and this sword is more worthwile.

That being said, I would like to see something else to this sword. Perhaps an increasing story line reward similar to the initiate symbol quests or interrogator badge series quests.

I was a 22 lvl wiz with my sr. app robe and an int of 151 running around LOIO. people laughed at me. I got "sick" looking at level 7's with Oracle robes or SMR's. I had a lvl 3 gnome (w/a BCR on) ask me my int, he laughed and said his was 203, AT LVL 3! WTF?!

I did the staff of the wheel quest, I camped Pyzjn, acumen mask, runescale cloak, mystic cloak, staff of temp flux, weeping wand, I saved every copper and bought decent int jewlery and I played it straight. I was given some stuff by some people walking by (twice) at lower levels. now that helped but it was minor compared to others. I never begged but I did ask for advice.

I was recently accused of being a twink because I have a GBS and the thyxl. Hey, I camped the GSB on my own and got lucky on the thyxl, right place right time.

I've since gotten better gear with the help of my guild and on my own but I was ****** for a long time. The halloween events helped!

I was really disappointed with the reward for this quest. I can buy a Silvery War Axe for 60PP and it is a better weapon than the Falchion of Koada'Vie.

Even though I had the faction needed, I found that Jyleel would not give me the quest until I did the orc runner quest first. Then I handed my items in.
Here's how to do it
# Jun 18 2001 at 8:05 AM Rating: Default
Ya know, I didn't write down the loc of the island in oot where you get the crate, but as soon as you enter oot from bbm, you will come to a set of islands after the boat starts moving. Get off here, on the right, and look for the island with 3 sirens, THIS is the island you are looking for. Helps to have a druid who can tp you, but that's not necessary. Now, after you get to the island, try to single pull the siren at the highest point on this rock at about 6 or 7 pm game time, then after nightfall, brawn will spawn in her place without the dragoons to help him. If you are after the dragoons, they spawn at the other locs of the other sirens on this island. Not to shabbly exp from them for a 24 druid, but the dragoons are SKs and harm touch for 200 each... yeah, it hurt bad... well, my pally bud's got to get the pouch, and pray he has enough faction to finish the quest, well, hope this helps. later
RE: Here's how to do it
# Jun 18 2001 at 8:10 AM Rating: Default
And oh yeah, my 19 pally bud was able to kill brawn alone, just took lay on hands to do it, course, I had buffed him, so it might have been closer if he'd been alone. The dork forgot to con brawn though. And all brawn did was punch and kick, so he's a monk/warrior/normal npc

Has anybody tried uwsing this weapon as part of another quest, maybe tring to pursue it further... Perhaps giving it to the Froglok Shin Lord in exchange for the Ghoulbane... after all it is a no drop weapon, so somewhere down the line I bet Verant intended it to be used as part of a quest.

Just a simple question? I know it says min lvl of 22 for this Quest. I have all the items in bank. I have raised my faction to an ally with Gen. Jyleel also. But I still dont get the quest from Gen. Jyleel? Do I have to be at least level 22 before the quest will come up from him?
Just got crate
# May 11 2001 at 9:15 AM Rating: Default
Just another note to help out others, I just went and got the crate myself. Im a lvl 15 pally from felwithe and had a lvl 30 half-elf pally help me with dragoons and brawn. They all 3 con red to me at this level, and would have killed me easily, so make sure you have help and lay of hands ready, lol. Could not figure out which dragoon was the one on the left or the one on the right from the reply's I read about here before.
So, myself and my friend were there after 7pm game time and we decided to kill the Alluring Sirens (this is the actual names of these NPC's, they are mermaid type creatures, I was thinking people were talking about sirens like horns or something earlier also lol) anyway we decided to kill all 3 sirens and see what happened. We were on the little point coming off of the rock, kinda looks like a finger pointing off of the rock. You can see 2 of the sirens from the point also. 1 siren is on the left side of rock by itself and you can see the second siren up on the top of the rock also. The third siren is close to the siren up on top of the rock.
We started by killing the siren that we could see on top of the rock, it would be the far right one as viewing from the point coming off of the rock as explained earlier. And then the siren next to that will also start to attack you and we decided to just kill all 3 sirens from that point and see what happened.
Well after killing all 3 sirens, we waited around on the point, medding and sure enough, Brawn popped up first on top of the rock alone. We started fighting Brawn (big Orge by the way) and about half way thru his health, a dragoon appeared out of nowhere and started attacking also. We finished off Brawn and then started to work on the dragoon.
Like I said earlier also, Im only Lvl 15, and my friend was lvl 30, we are both pally's and my friend was taking some good damage from the harm touch from this dragoon. So I basically stayed back and healed him while he finished off the dragoon. We looted the 2 dead and then swam to the other rock. And by that time the other (second) dragoon appeared. So we just got out of there before we had to worry about taking more damage, lol.
Pretty much I think if you take out the siren that is on top of the rock as viewed from the point on the rock as I explained earlier. And try to kill only that one siren, so maybe use a arrow or something to pull it down away from the siren next to it. You then would probably only get Brawn to spawn by himself.
Also, we had to wait on boat for awhile so right when it reached 5am game time, we checked and Brawn appeared first, then the 2 dragoons appeared following him, and they all despawned at 6am just like stated in previous posts. There will also be a Troll NPC on one point of the rock looks like hes fishing or something. Not sure what role he plays if any, or if he would attack also if Brawn and the 2 dragoons were all attacking you.
Well, thats all I have to say. I havent actually turned in the items yet for my sword, cause I need to work on getting my faction up. Just wanted to add a little more to help out others, because that is what a follower of Tunare would do wouldn't they?
Good Luck

I was camping the ogre in OoT and at 3AM the sirens despawned. At 4 AM both dragoons and the ogre popped at once. My friend mesmerized one of the dragoons and we pulled the other two two the tip of the island where we killed them fast. Just a friendly reminder, when the sirens despawn, the baddies are just about to take their place.

I did this quest at level 17. I needed high amiable faction to get it.. Just ask whoever's camping DVinn to loot the heart and the head. Killed brawn with the help of a level 19 Warrior. This quest gave good EXP, a little over half a bubble.

It seems that there are only a couple of really good quests to do in the game. Sadly enough, once they see how good of a quest it is they nerf it. If the quest produces a reward equal to the task, they consider it to be "too powerful". Why the **** would someone waste their time, especially at this level, to get this newbie sword? Too bad quests like this will never just be removed from the game. Verant pick up the ball, because you dropped it.

Yeah, but DVinn drops a better weapon than you get for the quest, go figure.

Yeah, this may look like a newbie sword NOW, but before the daysf multiple megalevels running around and farming every good weapon, this must've looked really good. What level would you need to get a silvery war axe? A good party in the high 20s or low 30s? And think about where that is. 6/24 isn't all that bad, really. Besides, the idea is adventure. Where's the fun in sitting on your **** for hours on end just to say, "yeah, I got ANOTHER silvery war axe. Toss it on the pile..."?

#Keepahn Trukin, Posted: Aug 08 2000 at 12:50 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) yeah it does, i love the quests, but this one just seriously blows. and its 6 24. i mean, its not even as good as a langseax ( warrior only, i know ), but for 75 pp, you can get a silvery war axe ( 1 handed, not 2 ), thats 2 delay better, and the same damage. at level 22, i had 75 pp easy, i mean, it looks awesome and all that, but no use other than strutting around. ( which is why i did the quest, with help from a close 53 paladin friend, thanks amigo, but g/f acidentally destroyed it, DOH. look me up on Sol Ro to see me strut around, been hangin around in GFay for a while recently. )
#Chodela, Posted: Jul 31 2000 at 1:53 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Ok I'm not complaining about the nice graphic that they attached to this piece of crap..I'm complaining about the piece of crap itself as a weapon. Just look at it this order to get this completely on your own you have to be at least low 20ish with good faction with the high elves right? ok so I sit on this stupid rock for an hour or so and slaughter a bloated ogre to get a little dinky pokin' stick that is barely good for chopping up greenies much less anything of difficulty. Verant needs to either up the damage or lower the delay to make this something worth doing. For gods sake you can kill the crappy little orc in the CB throne room and get a dwarven axe (6/26) but you have to drag yourself all over faydwer for this falchion (6/22) ??

I completed this quest at level 16..with a 35 wizzie and 27 druid helping me with Brawn and the 2 inkie Dragoons...(thanx Senyen and Gexlan)
I'd say that although the sword isn't much for the difficulty in completing the quest (gaining faction was the tuoghest part...musta fed Pandos nearly 700 muffins) the quest itself is pretty fun to it's all worth it in the end...and the faction will help you on other Felwithe quests...

CAn anyone post a picture or an URL to a picture of them holding this weapon?
Want a upgrade for it.
# Jul 19 2000 at 11:05 AM Rating: Decent
I did this quest several months ago and I'll tell ye what I love about it is that it IS no-drop and no one can simply run out and buy it. And since the 3D graphic of it is unique I have ppl asking me all the time what sword I use and how much does it cost. I love being able to tell them you CAN'T buy it! Wish more weapons were like that.

But because its unique looking I don't want to stop using it. I'm hoping the quest writers will do a continuation of this quest so you can upgrade the sword damage wise. Maybe add a proc?

I agree, for a level 22 and above pally weapon, it looks good and does no more than practise 1 hand slashing cheaply. If the designers would implement a special upgrade quest for this, including a proc or stat increase on it, i'm sure it would suddenly become a lot more desireable. This has worked before with the idea of the monk headband and sash quests in Freeport and Qeynos where you do a quest to get a basic item and need to use that at a later stage to get a better item.

Catching the boat
# Jul 13 2000 at 2:21 PM Rating: Decent
You don't need to get to an island to get back on the boat. If you see the boat coming, swim out in front it, stay at the waterline and just let the boat run over you. You will find yourself in the bar! It has worked for me every single time.

Well I did this quest about a week ago, and it really bites. Here is the info:
Get the prophets head off the prophet in crushbone's tower (PH is an oracle), then in the same place, get DVinn's heart (a black heart). DVinn is hard to kill, just ask a high level after a dirk if you can loot his heart and they will almost always say yes. (DVinn's PH is a centurion or lego) Finally, the hard part, Get on the boat from kaladim docks and jump off when you reach the oot onto those small islands right next to the zone. The rock with 3 sirens and no aqua goblins is the one you are looking for. Now, sit down, relax and enjoy the waves. Or you can kill the siren on the very right from the peninsula to make Brawn spawn. The other 2 make dragoons spawn which are really nasty. I was there with 2 others and a ogre came along and killed all the sirens and then the dragoons jumped my group and double harmtouched the erudite pally that was with us. Brawn runs on low health and if you want to wait for him to spawn, he spawns at 5AM game time with both dragoons and despawns at 6AM also with both dragoons, as far as I know, he always drops the crate. Now the hard part, find either the sisters or brothers island. Personally I swam across the OOT to sisters because I was bored. also, watch out for seafuries and don't run with scissors.
A Bit More Info
# Jul 01 2000 at 8:47 PM Rating: Decent
Stevyn is right. As a half-elven paladin of Marr, I too had apprehensive faction, but about 3pp worth of muffins raised me to an acceptable level.

Also, this quest info needs a bit of retouching. The ogre in Ocean of Tears is named "Brawn", not Brarm or Brash (I have screenshots if anyone wants to see). He spawns on a rock with exactly 3 sirens, located directly after you zone in from Butherblock, and only at night. You do NOT have to fight all the dragoons as well though. Simply kill the far left siren after 7 PM game time, and, within a few game hours, Brawn will spawn alone in the place of the siren you just killed. At about 4 AM game time Brawn and the two sirens will spawn, however, so be careful. Also Brawn will spawn 3, or maybe 4 if you kill him quickly each time, times per night.

The item Brawn drops is "a large locked crate". It weighs 20 pounds, and is too big to fit in a standard backpack, so be advised of this.

Also it should be stated that this quest gives a good amount of exp. At level 24, I recieved about half a bubble from returning the items.

Hope this helps,
Innoruuk Server

The way I got my faction up was to spend about 2-3 plat on muffins to give to pandos in Freeport. I now con warmly. I am a human Pally outa freeport.

It's a long way to rise faction to get quest.
I am a Halfelf, so I am indifferent to way apprehensively in town.
No other quests are give.
First I have to give MANY bone chips to clerics, maybe some bat wings to mages or black wolf skins to wizzies to raise my faction a bit....
it's so boring....
Killing Dvinn and others in OOT was easiest part of all.
