I have gotten my corr. chain legs off a giant last night in kael from a seargeant, near the bank, ( close to the WL side ) You can get the gems in Velketor or Cobalt Scar , alot of druids sell them there since most of them drop of wyverns which they quad. You hand in the legs first , then the 3 gems unstacked , make sure u hail him and say what legs or whichever item u have first , u need to have kindly with coldain, well i did and it worked. Kael drops Silk , Leather , Chain , and Plate :P

Is there a level limit to turn items in? Or do you just need kindly faction?

Gonna try to get MQ on thurg chain bracer(this ry'gorr one's pissing me off...), gonna get a faction group also...I don't mind not getting exp, and if I need stones i can just sell my bronze statue of bathezid hehe.

This information is for all Thurgadin quests. Corroded cloth, chain, and plate drop in Kael Drakkel, most commonly in the arena. Quest gems drop off of any mid-40s+ MOb in low-to-mid-50s oriented zones. I've seen them drop most commonly in Velk's Lab and Siren's Grotto.

on several guild raids, we've found corroded plate off the giants deeper inside kael. i assume they can drop chain as well, im told they drop all 3 types (cloth chain plate).
we got about 6 gems last night off the icepaw kobolds inside velketors lab.

Looks like there arnt enough Rogues around to do these quests and respond here but if you check the Ranger Velium Armour Quests you will see that the same items are needed and there locations are mentioned.

I just did the boots last night, they not quite as good as Assassin's boots, but only difference is weight and 1 lower ac, not bad for quest boots.
They also have look of Rygorr boots, which is good since there is no Rygorr boots.

The chain parts for the Thurgadin quest boots come from giants in Kael. The crushed gems drops in several places:Siren's Grotto, Icewell Keep, Velk's are best that I have seen for crushed They also drop off sentient armor in WL. The gems for the minor armor pieces drop off mobs in Cobalt Scar frequently. The bp/robe gems drop off 55+ mobs in Velks, Siren's Grotto, DN, Sleepers Tomb, Icewell Keep and I have heard in Kael as well. Good luck
