That is not true the you need to be kindly, you need to be atleast Warmly. Which is one step higher to get the Thurgadin items. I tried at high kindly and failed to get the item. Luckily it was only a wrist band.

Just got mine tonight in a group of 4 ppl (60 war, 60 shm, 58 rog, 53 rog (me)) doing Kael right arena.
No, you cannot solo this area, even if they raise the level cap to 70. :P These mobs are almost all 50+ and they hit damn hard, and there are lots of them nearby.
And btw my bp dropped off of a lvl 53 Adjutant. We also got a silk hood off of another giant, don't remember what kind/level. From everything I've heard, the giants in Arena area (specifically Veterans, though we got nothing off the one we killed) are the best place to get these drops.

I heard the cooroded chain stuff drops off the giants in kael, OK which giant? I've been to EQATLAS.COM and looked at the kael zone map and all the giants and what they drop and found that its not listed (the cooroded stuff i mean). So if anyone would like to add some more info to this it would be helpful. Maybe the cooroded stuff is very random between all the giants?

No, it is not random off any of the giants. Only the higher level ones farther into Kael drop the quest armor pieces. Not a good spot for a 37 rogue to be either, haha. The mobs deeper in Kael all see invis so no sneak/hiding around in there.

The armor peices you need for the Quest drops in Kael. Off Certain Mobs ? or just as a Random thing ?
Also. the FLAW-LESS diamonds are kinda hard to come by, best chance is to buy them or find very friendly Guildmembers to sell them cheap.
If you kill Giants your Thurgadin Faction will skyrocket. they are accepting to most classes to begin with.

I know alot of people on my server and wanted to know if i can do the quest right now. I am lvl 35 and about to hit 36. I have talked to a few people that have hunted in keal and thy said that the tunic that is needed is no drop. So then u are either going to need to sneak and hide into keal or wait for one to drop with your rogue camped there. You can also do it the hard way with is get in a group and wait for it to drop. If you are lucky then u can run in and grab it. I sugest doing that naked incase you die and geting a sow or useing a sow potion be fore heading in there. The dimonds are the easy part. If wait around in ec(this biggest spam place on my server) you can buy the ones you need, or wait for one of your guild matesto geta few and you can buy em that way.

The chain tunic is indeed no drop. Not only that, but the mobs in any of the areas where it will drop see invis so you cannot just sneak in and loot it. Not to mention that anyone there would rather kill you 1000 times over than give up the chain bp to a level 35-36 rogue. And about the diamonds being the easy part...flawless diamonds are NOT easy to get, and you are not going to see alot of them going around in EC (or Gfay, where ever your trade zone may be) and they will not be very cheap. The easy way to get this BP is just to raid here a while with your guild and hope the rangers and shammies dont win the bp when it drops, hehe.

Hey guys, everyone posting on here that FlawED Diamonds are easy to get, and not off level 55 mobs.. You're right, unfortunatly, you need FlawLESS diamonds for melee BP quests. FlawLESS diamonds are a level 55+ mob drop, SG/Velks/ToV are the easiest places to get them.. Please don't try and do this quest with FlawED diamonds, they're just a cash item and you won't get the armor.

It is highly unlikely that a 34 rogue could do this quest considering the lvl of the mobs that drop the corroded chain and the location within Kael that these mobs are. Also, the Flawless Diamonds are pretty hard to come by, unless you have a fairly respectable amount of plat in your bank account.

Flawed Diamonds - Drop in several zones. Velks, Wakening, CS...several places. I hear Cobalt Scar is the best place though. Also if you get a gem for someone else's quest you can trade them. (please don't NO DROP these Verant!)

Simple as that. I will also be posting this on the item info page. Gems do not have to be on 55+ mobs like everyone keeps saying. I have looted 1 and seen one other drop on MObs that con blue to me from 45-48.

Can one do this quest at level 30 if you have the neccessary items?... or will Felspar only speak to a level 45 and above?
