|Prerequisite Quests: Testing the Waters.
This is a shared task.
Seek out Krama Alaeus in The Overthere in the outpost just inside and to the left as your heading in. At /loc +1425, +1274, +1.
Say "tier dal" to any regular, non-quest NPC around, until you get an update.
This is "an arisen convert" in Howling Stones, they spawn in the west, south and east wings.
Kill an arisen convert.
Go back to the outpost in The Overthere and talk to Krama Alaeus.
You say, 'Hail, Krama Alaeus
Krama Alaeus says 'It never fails to shock me how far these dark elves are willing to go for their hatred. Though I suppose cursing this place shouldn't surprise me, joining a cult to Venril Sathir seems very odd. If we're going to remain here, we should probably learn about those curses, right?
This is located on the end of the old pirate ship near the dock at /loc +2844, +2159, -33.
Once you get there, you'll see the following yellow text.
For a brief moment you feel unbelievably cold. Light simply disappears around you. When you recover, you notice that much of the wood on you weapons and tools is fractured.
Find Vizra, magia mortis fortitio in The Overthere outpost and say "golem curse" to her.
Find a crumbling cliff golem or a Wayward cliff golem and kill them until they drop a Cliff Golem Heartstone.
Go back to the outpost and give Vizra, magia mortis fortitio the Cliff Golem Hearstone.
Vizra, magia mortis fortitio examines the wrinkled stone. 'Well, this certainly is interesting. Look carefully at this. It is starting to split into two pieces. And the magic on it is, well, best described as chaotic. This heart isn't like they used to be, for certain. I would say that the golem this came from was starting to split into two distinct units. I would also guess that this one would have a tendency to act independently, maybe even contrarily to its orders. It's pretty amazing, really. Shame to waste such power and creativity on such a useless thing.'
Hail Krama Alaeus.
Krama Alaeus says, 'Horrible, really, that people could do such things. I wouldn't be surprised if those dark elves had a hand in the plague the sarnak created. I'm glad I'm not a member of this Combine thing. Would could really trust dark elves in your society? Well, thank you for your help. Good luck in the future.'
