Was in Kael tonight... was one of two rangers... We had a total of about 15 drops in 4 hours or so I believe. (3) Gladiator Chain Leggings (1) Corroded Chain Arms (1) Corroded Chain boots (2) Corroded Plate Helm (1) Corroded Plate Bracer (2) Enchanted Silk Gloves (1) Enchanted Silk Boots plus a few more... I won all the Corroded Chain stuff. Time to go get some gems! Almost didn't go, glad I did tho. Legs went to two druids and a warrior I believe. Lots of deaths. Lots of drops. Lots of spam. Lots of FUN! Glad if this helps anyone... we were in arena btw. Didn't even go with my guild =).

Rangers at least what ive experienced, pretty much rule as a class, we can solo almost as good as druid, with arrows, nukes, snare, dots, root, and melee, we are bad killing machines, and our roles are the most exciting, tracking dragons to avoid in dangerous zones, scouting the land, pulling, and melee/casting all the time, we also have sow, and now stun with call of sky, which almost makes me invincible, at least in my own mind, and dont let anyone tell ya a ranger isnt a tank, many items can add hp and stamina, and str, so go for it, me personally, am the inflicter of large amounts of damage with add's.,

If someone had the boots and I had the 3 crushed black marbles? Could the boot holder turn in boots first, then I turn in the three gems and I get the item??
Yep, this happens ALL THE TIME, at least on Erollisi Marr. Chaining various quest armours to those who can't get the drops for themselves is a booming business.
Assuming the sellers didn't gank the drops from someone on the raid that could have used them, I personally have no problem with this whatsoever.

I don't reccomend heading to Kael until you are in your Mid-40's. The MoB's you need to get the drops from are mid to high 50's, and most groups won't even give you the time of day. As a 47 Ranger, I find it hard to get into Kael groups unless I am attending a Guild event.
That isn't saying that you won't get lucky, just don't count on getting the armor drops any time soon.

Thing is, the planes were designed when max level was 50. Velious MOBs can have more hp and hit harder. Was in Icewall and the Frosticube was hitting for as much as 160.
Hey Rounlin! Take a look at the stats and quit whining about your class. If you don't like it play another one. Rangers are a fine class. You just need to learn how to play it.

They drop in Kael Drakil.(sp?) We got one off of a stormgiant lieutentant the other night on our way to skyshrine, the giant was around level 51.

corroded boots and armor are droped in the stormgiant city. i am not sure if sertaint giants drop specific peaces but at least you know the zone now

The QUEST item for armor drops from storm-factioned giants in Kael. Mostly in the arena or the tormax area. They're all random drops.
