Anyone know the best place to raise Thurg faction, and CoV faction while your at it?

in GD theres a giant fort near the EW zone.. get a group of friends or just travel up there.. theres usually people there killing for ToV and dorf faction there.. its best to get allied before doing these quests.. on occasion being kindly and amiable doesnt work.. and ToV you definetly need allied just for gate.. and youll still be kos to parts of area..

You can do all the Thurg quests at kindly faction. Just did it last night... I was too lazy to get warmly, or ally so i tried it and worked.

What do i say when Mauren asks if i am sure enough to undertake her tasks? can't get past this part? my faction is Ally.

I got the Enchanted gloves in Kael by the bank on the way to the arina with a group of 55 Monk "Baron", 56 enchanter, 60 Druid, 56 Cleric, 52 Cleric, 54 Wizard, 52 Wizard, 54 rogue, and a 55 rogue. We walked in and owned the place )
My Guild had the Crushed Topaz and Made me a very Happy 52 wizard.

Crushed Topaz is one of the harder gems to get.
1)Both Caster and Melee Compete for the Gem.
2)Rarity of Auction - If sold, it tend to be higher then other quest gems not counting the Bp or robe.
3)Rarity of Drop in addition to other quest gems.
4)It drop in the more challenging mobs. I see it drop in Siren Grotto, Velk Dogs, Dragon Necropolis and Western Waste.
5)PPl just store the gem in the inventory and never sell it, give away, trade for it or whatever.

I believe that a mistake was made in typing, you turn in gloves to get gloves not gloves to get a cap. no big deal.
