This task can be gotten by talking to Praetor Gilfol in Gates of Kor-Sha.

Keyword to Request: task

As soon as you request the task, the task will lock.

To start task, you have to go to the door of kor-sha laboratory at /waypoint 2544, -408, -194 and click the door. It will take you to the tunnel in south central part of zone.

This task gives random steps each time you get it. Below are the different versions of each step. The number of steps vary on each run.



Step #1

  • 1. Find out why these lizards appear to have so many insects in their home. Are these things pets? 0/3 Kor-Sha Laboratory.

    Find a scavenging beetle and kill them.


  • 1. Find out if they really are breeding special sokokar in Kor-Sha. 0/3 Kor-Sha Laboratory.

    Find sokokar, kill them.

  • 2. Look for evidence of changes over time in the sarnak nature by searching their tombs. 0/3 Kor-Sha Laboratory.

    Find the ancient skeletons in the crypt and kill them.


  • 2. We know they have mystical laboratories, find and search them. 0/5 Kor-Sha Laboratory.

    Find and kill sarnak in the lab.

  • 3. Look for evidence of changes over time in the sarnak nature by searching their tombs. 0/3 Kor-Sha Laboratory.

    Find the ancient skeletons in the crypt and kill them.

  • 3. You need to find and kill one of their prisoners, one our our people. We can't risk the information that might be lost. 0/1 Kor-Sha Laboratory.

    Find a broken prisoner and kill. (NPC in a suspended cage from the ceiling in the circular room with all the prison cells)


  • 3. See if you can turn at least one goblin to our side so it can give us [information]. 0/5 Kor-Sha Laboratory.

    Find goblins and kill them.

  • 4.We know they have mystical laboratories, find and search them. 0/5 Kor-Sha Laboratory.

    Find and kill sarnak in the lab.


  • 4. Surely the sarnak make notes of their plans. See if you can find some. We suspect they can be found at the heart of Kor'Sh 0/1 Kor-Sha Laboratory.

    In the far eastern wing of the zone, kill everything in and around that last room.

  • 5. See if you can turn at least one goblin to our side so it can give us [information]. 0/5 Kor-Sha Laboratory.

    Find goblins and kill them.

    Find a fading monstrosity and kill it.

    The researchers in the final room appear to be immune to snare, root, pacify, stun and mez. A handful of them also see invis.

    Unlike some other instances, this zone respawns.

    Find a skeleton to the west of where you were just at in the hallway and kill it.

  • 9. Rumor has it that ghosts or beings from other realms are appearing in Kor-Sha. Find out if it's true, and if so, what they are. 0/1 Kor-Sha Laboratory.

    Find a fading monstrosity and kill it.

    To get started, Stone door entrance to the laboratory is west of the tunnel entrance (both are on the northern zoneline).

    If you have the step where you need to kill sarnak in the labs, you will find a lab on either side of the portal room in the central area of the map. If you don't get enough kill credits from those two rooms, you can get the final credits from researchers in the final room.

    If you are looking to do the Hunter in this zone you need to complete the mission to spawn the Named or PH
    You then have a limited amount of time, about 32 minutes Max to reach and kill the named before the instance closes.
    Once the mission has completed the zone will not respawn anything else.
    So if the Named does not spawn you need to redo the mission.
    Camping/Killing the PH is pointless, it will not respawn.

    Named has always spawned between step 4 and 5 for me. There are only 5 steps in each version of this

    I have done 5x now in past 24 hours, each time had the "kill an animated skeleton" step, and the named or PH failed to spawn every time if that was step 5 until I completed mission.

    Even IVU past that & same thing.

    - What I found was called: a_fading_monstrosity - had just over 12.5 million hp

    I requested the task with just myself (110 ranger) and merc, and there were only five steps:

    - Find out if they really are breeding special sokokar in Kor-Sha

    They appear to be immune to mez and stun. As a pally with a chanter wife, this makes me sad. Also see invis.

    This guy was in a cage suspended from the ceiling in the prison area, not in a cell. Don't know if that's always the case, but it took me a while to figure it out. Hope this saves others some time.

    00:03:00 means that once you complete the task, you can't do it again before 3 hours.
