Speak to Ingistorma Varro in Frontier Mountains at /loc 3701, -3081, 165 in the northeast corner of the zone. Task Phrase: task. Ingistorma Varro gives you a Book Binding.

What tradeskill is needed to bind the pages? Research? Every resource out there says it is a tradeskill, None of them say what one......

A book binding is usually for Research recipes, but this particular Book Binding is a quest item and the combine is not linked to any particular tradeskill.
Kill the guardians first as mentioned above or you will have to redo the quest!

It took me awhile to find them but I did,the yellow ones that are ground spawns are in the far end of the zone,where the big round clear pulsing ball portal things are,cant remember what direction it was on map.There are many mobs clustered around where the ground spawns are.All the mobs in this area are not able to be snared or rooted and the summon.
Come here ready for a fight to clear trash to get to the ground spawns,they will be on two tables,first one is off to the right on the first table that is not knocked over and broken,3 mobs stand there 2 researcher's and a warrior,all the researcher's are SI.The other page is on a table inside the room on the other side of the area,filled with researcher's and trash,it is on the table to the left inside.

Researchers cannot be mezed and yet are really large agro range and the last room farthest East (to the right on the map), from large broken room to small back room, where the needed drop spawns in the left side of the room, they are close together inside and cannot pull separately.
The other large broken room the first is on a table as you come in the door, very near a researcher which could pull everything on you. We was able to get this one carefully without fighting and placed a campfire in the low broken area below.
This task is not much fun because it is way to stressful, our group lost levels with so many deaths.Harmonious arrow does not work, calm does not work.
We finished the task by sacrificing a chanters pet and the chanter who pulled the room 4 times as one at a time we ran in as the page repopped and grabbed it, some lived some died :-)

The other large broken room the first is on a table as you come in the door, very near a researcher which could pull everything on you. We was able to get this one carefully without fighting and placed a campfire in the low broken area below.
This task is not much fun because it is way to stressful, our group lost levels with so many deaths.Harmonious arrow does not work, calm does not work.

On step 2 Collect 1 Research Notes 0/1 Kor-Sha Laboratory
Zam : In Kor-Sha Laboratory, kill some a worker's and loot Research Notes.
EQ Resources: Loot Research Notes from a Di`zok adherent or aruspex
I have completed all the steps and have difficulties getting this note. Killing multi-amount of mobs and could not get it drop. Here is the way to do it:
1) Put all your items from this quest in the bank.
2) Remove the quest and re-request it from Ingisitorma Varro
3) Zone into the Lab, through the door, not the cave
4) Kill the guardians at the zone-in. There are 2 of them. The Research Note should drop from them, loot it.
5) Go back to bank and collect back all the quest items you put there.
6) Hand each of them to a pet, and when you get it back it will update the task
7) Do the combine to get the Research Logbook
8) Go back to the Lab and redo step 1:
Kill some of the Kar`Zok 0/2 Kor-Sha Laboratory
In Kor-Sha Laboratory, kill Kar`Zok Sarnaks (green) until the task updates
9) Then hand-in and hail to complete the task.
The quest seems to be bugged, that the first Research Notes has to be the first drop (first step) you do. If you do other step first (once the task is updated once), you might not be able to get the Step 2 Research Note.

Both the guardians and the Di`Zok dragoon dropped the first one for me.
