Terman Underbelly says 'I sense the strength of your mystical powers within you and they vibrate with power. You have learned much from your travels and I shall help you, by providing you with protection from harm and the elements, in the form of armor.' You say, 'What armor?' Terman Underbelly says 'For you I shall make a coif, tunic, sleeves, a bracer, gauntlets, leggings, and boots. Each piece is a quest unto itself. To seek the components, you must search the lands for them and test the power of the spirit within.' You say, 'How do you make boots?' Terman Underbelly says 'Simply bring me a set of three crushed flame emeralds and a pair of corroded chain boots and I will imbue them. I bid you good luck in finding such things.' Upon handing in the items: Terman Underbelly smiles warmly as he hands you your reward. 'You have done well, ______.' Your faction standing with Coldain got better. Perhaps this is common knowledge, but I just discovered it for myself recently, so I thought I'd pass it on. These can be MQ'ed by two characters on the same account. I parked by shaman next to the quest guy and then logged in my necro (who had the boots). Turned in the boots, logged the shammy and turned in the gems. Got the boots with no problem.
I realize this is an old post, just wanted to warn that the MQ referenced above hasn't worked since the Progression Servers were released.

The Shaman Thurgadin Armors are "Corroded Chain [armor piece]" in this case Corroded Chain Boots.
I had to go elsewhere to make sure - just want to help others coming here to have their answers in one place :)
Enjoy them when you get them - they are sooo nice. I have my epic boots and Rune Etched (from Hate) - my Rune Etched are now officially replaced :)

Are the corroded boots no drop, or is it possible to buy off players?

We just had a little faction group on the WL side of the zone. These dropped there, so yes they do drop off any giant, not just Arena ones. No info on what mob, just a regular giant near the zone there.

This stuff drops of the giants in KD. im thinking most of the giants iv seen drop any armour pieces are the ones in light blue armour.. or the tougher guys near the arena.. these are not realy one group mobs most are raid mobs so proseed with caution. the armour seems nice though.i just looted the boots while killing Vindi today off one of his guards i beleive.(62chars lvl55+)took down Vindi with ease..have fun and be safe

The Corroded Armor drops in the Kael Drakkel Zone. Off what mobs and lvl's I'm not sure, hope this helps:)

So where does all this corroded armor come from anyway? Can you buy it from the merchants or does it drop and who from?
