omg im ally turned in for this quest and he ate my corroded and 3 topaz's that costed me 850 a piece and gms arent doing a damn thing FENNIN RO SUX dont ever play on that server gms never on

How good does my faction have to be to do the Champion armor quests, i am Aimbly right now, do i have to kindly or higher?

You can do these quests at High Amiable faction. Meaning, if you /con Amiable you MIGHT be able to do the quest. Talk to the quest giver and make sure he gives you all of the quest responses before turning in the items. If he doesn't, then you're not high enough Amiable. Better yet, kill a few more giants and get Kindly faction so you don't have to worry.

Got the corroded gaunts off of a named giant in the Chanter area in Kael today, dont remember which one... We also got two sets of arms and a bracer, all plate, in about an hour... the gaunts and arms were all within a 10-minute period. Who sez yer best bet is in the arena? = )

all armor pieces can drop of lueitnents in kael from the bank area ...but drop much more ofter in the arena....i have seen bank done by a monk and shaman only,just need to slow the mob or have a healer.LT are around lvl 46 48

Corroded anything drops off any 45+ mob in Kael Drakkal.
It drops most frequently in Arena, you need at least one 55+ group to do it effectively.. or 2-4 50+ groups
And the reason your gauntlets weren't showing up properly is you likely don't have velious textures turned on, change that in your eqini.txt

I heard a rumor you have to be lvl 50+ to even multiquest these types of armor. Is that true?

Fiction. I multiquested the Thurgadin BP for warrior twink when he was lvl 40. I've heard people doing these quests as low as lvl 28.

we have been gettin alot of crushed topaz and other quest gems lately in Velks Lab...the kobolds drop them quite a bit in the tent camp

Is a 45+group realy needed to get corroded armor? And who does it all drop off of?

A lvl 45 group would get waxed by a mob that may drop this stuff.
The corroded stuff drops off level 55 and up giants in Kael. I'd say you need a really sold lvl 50+ group to get this.

On a female halfling the gauntlets are slightly darker shade of white from allot of the Velious Ice. Not the see through ice, but the white stuff. They really look like white leather. The texture doesn't look like plate at all.

Where is the corroded armor found as i have seen many people post where the jewls are fouund and non on the armor

Its found in Kael Drakkel.
