I am a Rallos Zek Ogre Warrior took me 6 hours at the Great Divide fort killing the 3 named inside the fort with the other giants, Elites in the back and got ally faction from kos.

Me and another guild were waiting on King Tormax, Statue, or AoW spawn there last night. No spawns but killed Vindi 2 times and pulled pretty much every mob possible to the right arena camp. Drops for Corroded Plate were; x1 BP, x3 Vamps, x1 Greves, x3 Bracer, x1 Gaunts, x1 Boots. I ended up getting boots, bracer, vamps, and gaunts all in one night, lost both the Vindi BP rolls though =/ Pretty much all mobs we fought that dropped these pieces were red to a 52 (me) my 2 copper.

I have the necessary pieces to complete this quest but my faction is only amiable and Njall wont hand out the quest. How long would it take killing drakkel dire wolfs to raise my faction higher, am i looking at hours or days?
The corroded plate stuff is no drop but I hear it can be multiquested.
hehe, replying to my own post, I just payed 3k for the chaining of this bracer and I think it was a good deal :) I thought it would cost more lik 7-10k. I just had to supply the gems and the guy had the corroded plate bracer. :)
you got jacked haha, 1500 is the most you should be paying for the bracer, and it is a good piece. The gloves are like 500pp.

For those who might be interested, if you REALLY want this bracer, I have the corroded plate bracer in the bank. Not sure if it's no drop, but if it is, I will sell the MQ on it for no less than 5k. Otherwise, my warrior alt gets it.

All Corroded Armor drops in Kael!! The Gems can be found in a few of the zones in Velious!! If you have kindly faction of better with Thurg you will be able to complete these quests, which means u need to kill GIANTS!!!

If the npc will give you the quest, you can complete it. If your factions is not high enough you will get the "you need to prove yourself" message or some such nonsense.

lol i messed up quest last nighti gave all the right stuff but my so called *GM faction wasent perfect* so i gotta start over, 12hours in Kael and 2k wen down he fookin drain

I didn't see anyone post that some of the gems drop in Cobalt Scar. Went there last night with 3 Guildies and was able to get a flame emerald and 2 of the crushed emeralds.

I know what you mean when you say duh quests stuff for Thurg is gonna drop in Kael. That makes perfect sence to me. but I would also think the SS armor stuff would drop there too but it doesnt. It would also make me think that the Kael armor stuff drops in SS but it doesnt. So next time when a person asks where does this corroded drop dont go thinking everyone thinks like you do or that everyone puts two and two together the same way as you.

Crushed Flame Emeralds drop in Velks Lab and the Bracer drops in Kael. This stuff by all means is not easy to get. You could probably buy the Emeralds but the Bracer is big time random like most people have already said. I do want to know this. How in the heck can you get good faction with Coldain without killing all those damn giants. In other words is there any other quicker way?

I looted my Corroded Bracer in the IceHouse, in Kael. It does drop in the Arena area as well, in Kael.
Its NOT easy to get by a long shot, first..you need to be in a Multiple group raid, you have to be lucky for it to drop and then WIN the random on it.
And after you do all that, you get to go gem shopping(WL,Icewell,SG,Velks,etc.) and get Very lucky for a CFE to drop and WIn the random on it too.
Oh yea, and spend alot of time killing Giants in Kael/WW/GD/WL for the faction high enuff to do the quest.

The armor drops in Kael Drakkel. I personnally have obtained the corroded bracer. I have seen eroded leather, torn silk, corroded chain drop also. Yes, you have ot go deep in. Yes, you wil need a raid party prolly. Seems most the drops are off 56 plus mobs, but these are giants. Hitting for 200 plus casting spells that can't be intterupted (for most part) due to giants no being affected by stuns, and mezzes. Oh and some gate.

I heard they drop in Velkators and UNDER Icewell as random drops. So...plan to level in those places! heh

I know for a FACT the gems drop in Velk's Lab. They are vary rare drops on the yard trash. At most a 1/20 on the Crystalline Spiders. They are not on the Shards, Blizzards, or statues. Most drop off the Crystalline Devourers. Nasty buggers with a Deadly Vel. poision that must be Dispelled. Cure poison doesn't work! Good Exp for Mid 40's all the way to 50 right at the zone.

This results in the Champion's Bracer, which is identical to the Berserker's Bracer in every way, except Iksars cant wear this one. I think it is just a way for the good races to get some good armor, without killing the good-alligned people in Tunare. *sigh* It wouldve been great if they hadnt implimented this IMO.

I looted my bracer off of a Giant Legionaire in an area called tha arena. Im not going to give you all the info but this should give you a clue. As far as any gem needed for the armor quests they do drop off several mobs in different zones in Velious with the BP gems falling off the more nastier mobs. Good Luck
