Grinder spawns after you kill the Bokon Maru.
Fastest way to spawn named if you're high enough level is to just run the the room with Bokon Maru and drop aggro (whatever class ability you have to drop all aggro). The update spot is at the entrance to the room. It's possible to run past it without triggering it. Just kill the sentinels and walk back to the entrance and the quest should update. Then just clear a path and kill Bokon Maru.
He's in the room that is the most east on the map (one of the central rooms). It's the same room Bokon Revel the Reborn can spawn in.

He has the Aspect of Life/Decay spells that he casts. You're supposed to go into the correct aura (they spawned N and S of him, while tanking in the center of the room)

Not sure when/why he does this, but it increased in frequency as we ignored the tactics and straight burned. I'm GUESSING it is tied to not going into the proper aura.
As stated in another post, he spawns 2 adds at intervals.. they're DB to 105 and barely noticeable. Straight burning is def they way to go if you can, otherwise, get into the correct aura to be safe.

Not the Named but the Boko Maru - He spawns a pair of mobs at 75%, 50% and 25% - I just concentrated on DPSing the named then dealing with adds.
Couldn't Mez them (didn't try all of them) but did manage to AA root thing them

After trying many combinations of ways to get this task, I gave up. The next day the daily HA was The Bokon High Council so I went and did that. I am now able to request The Head of the Snake by saying "another trip". So I think in addition to the Achievement: Lesser Spirit Armor (Group) you also need The Bokon High Council done.

The phrase is not working. When you say "another trip" It directs you to another task.
Say "another trip" you get the message Karth Punox does not respond to your query. Perhaps you should talk to Karth Punox in Sul Vius: Demiplane of Decay about Mayors.
Then say "what about mayors"
