  1. Speak with the caretakers of the sacred crypts and see if they have any further information.

Head to the graveyard area, same as last quest, furthest south on the main level. Hail to a "respectful curator". Found mine next to the eastern wall.

  2. Dig up one of the bodies and examine it.

Go to the fresh graves, furthest south in this area and stand on a grave for update.

  3. You will need a shovel.

Kill a respected mortician (they are holding a shovel). Everyone in group get 1 on their cursor. DO NOT destroy your shovel, it's needed later in task!

  4. Dig up one of the graves.

Stand on a grave and click the shovel for update.

  5. Examine the body.

Click on the skeleton in the grave to update the task.

  6. Find the killer.

Head down the central pit, 2 levels down (stay on your left, get to the green area on your map) Go in the building and go left. you are heading back to the area on the map with the long hallway with 12 rooms off it (still in green area). The NPC you are looking for is Lapa the Caged in one of the side rooms. Mine was in the next to the last room on the left. Hail him for update.

  7. See if you can find the merchant that Lapa was talking about.

Head to the southeast area on the main level and kill merchants for updates. Be careful, "a citizen" in this area (actually, all throughout the zone) see through all invisibility.

  8. You couldn't find anything on any merchants. Go and speak with Lapa again.

Go back down to hail Lapa again. When you get down there, he is, of course, gone. MAKE SURE you click on his cage to receive clues as to his new whereabouts AND take note he will now be, Lapa the Escaped.

Lapa is now on the platform outside the building on the same level (green). Hail Lapa and be prepared to kill him. I had to kill one wandering mob before I hailed.

  9. Defeat Lapa.

    Kill him for update.

  10. Tell Bokon Karass what you have learned.

    Hail Bokon for update

  11. Oh, and give Bokon Karass that shovel you, um, borrowed.

Turn in 1 shovel to complete the task. On completion, this unlocks A Feather in the Wind.

Hailing then killing Lapa

So I just finished this shared task with some friends and want to point out some things that may or may not be obvious to people looking to do this.

Concerning Lapa the Caged : I found him by entering what looks like bulkhead doors in the merchant area to the south. If you keep following the path down you come to an area where you can turn right but you want to actually keep going straight up the path and follow it back down until it ends at a hallway with cells on both sides. I found Lapa in the second one on the right after entering from where I've just described.

After hailing Lapa the Caged for the update, go back up the way you came to kill the 3 merchants.

Now... according to the quest, and this is what might save some people quite a bit of time, you are supposed to go back down to hail Lapa again. When you get down there, he is, of course, gone. MAKE SURE you click on his cage to receive clues as to his new whereabouts AND take note he will now be, Lapa the Escaped.

I went and located almost all the Lapa the Escaped/Caged without clicking on his empty cell door and was not able to proceed with the quest. soon as I clicked on his door I got the clues to where they are and was able to hail him for update and then kill him.

You obtain this quest by saying "not too busy" to Bokon Karass (not "to"). Also this is a group quest not a solo quest.

Look up Lapa on this site. I followed the above not knowing there could be up to 5 versions of Lapa up at a time. When you go back to the jail you will be given a clue as to which one you need to hail and fight.

In order to get the clues you have to click the cell door where you first found him caged. spent 2 hours finding all the versions of him and none responded until i went back and clicked the cell door to open it. I found 6 versions not 5. Hope this helps and saves time.

Updated, thanks.

"Not to busy" or "Not too busy"? as the starter text? --the second is grammatically correct, but that doesn't mean that is what they put in the game.

Thanks for checking. The fact that both worked probably means you don't actually need either work, "busy" might be enough.

Grats on dinging "sage" status here (just happened).
