Dark Reign: Diving for Lavarocks

It is a group mission (3-6 players) that begins with Talontar (click for map image) in the Dark Reign camp of the Lavastorm Mountains. Pre-requisites for requesting: - Minimum level 55 - Minimum "indifferent" faction with Dark Reign Hail him to get a quest window pop-up. You have been assigned the task 'Diving for Lavarocks'. We suspect that the dragon residing in the delve may share some sort of life force with the lava in the volcano and we are very interested in the source of this power. Venture into the dragon's lair and slay his followers. Bring back six calcified lava rocks from the depths of the churning magma and you will be rewarded. Note: This group mission scales to your group's level. The highest is 68+, outlined here. Touch the cave entrance to Lavaspinner's Lair 0/1 (The Broodlands) This is marked on your compass (far southern instanced entrance). Loot 6 Calcified Lava Rock 0/6 (Lavaspinner's Lair) Slay 15 Denizens of the Delve 0/15 (Lavaspinner's Lair) Here, kill any 15 drakes in the zone. For the item updates, you need to look around for big, purple rocks in the lava (sometimes sticking out of the lava) called "lava rock". Upon /open'ing one, you see one of two emotes: Add Spawn: You hear a loud screech as something breaks free of the stone. Loot Item: You feel a blast of heat as you open the rock and see a dark stone inside. Deliver 6 Calcified Lava Rock to Talontar 0/6 (Lavastorm Mountains) Once you have six of these, return to Talontar and hand them in: Your work has proven invaluable. We will make sure these stones are put to good use. The lava rocks are challenging to find. We made a /target hot key for "lava" and they show up on target when you are close. Some are sticking out but most are below the surface of the lava. As the task leader I had much better luck getting Calcified Lava Rock than the others in the group.
