The Darkened Sea Info & Guides: Overview | Progression & Task List | Raiding | Visible Armor This solo task begins with Ilsaria (click for map image) on Thuliasaur Island. Pre-Requisites for Requesting: - Minimum Level 95 Say "willing" to request the task. You say, 'Hail, Ilsaria' Ilsaria looks into your eyes with a sense of distant reservation, 'A living traveler. Such a thing was once a rare sight here. Tell me, stranger, are you as [willing] to aid the dead as we once were?' You say, 'I'm willing' Ilsaria forces a smile, though it does little to change her somber appearance, 'Perhaps this land will not bind you as it has us.' She goes on to explain what help you can provide... You have been assigned the task 'Our Worldly Anchors'. The spirit of Ilsaria, a Combine provisioner, remains anchored to the land, her spirit unable to rest. She hopes that having you recover the relics that symbolize her grief will finally free her from this earthly imprisonment. 'The Kromtus were among the first creatures we encountered when we landed here. At first we shared a tenuous truce, but as time went on some of our party became uneasy and raided their village in the middle of the night. See if you can find anything that belonged to a member of that raiding party in possession of the giants.' 'The lizardmen to the north remained hostile after our first encounter. In our fearfulness we attacked them in our first contact, not realizing they had simply sent a scouting party out to investigate the disturbance we had caused. One among their ranks still carries a relic of our fallen.' 'By the time our party encountered the aviaks we were already suffering from the madness of isolation. Several of our companions had given up hope that rescue would ever come and simply swam out to sea to end their own lives. Others charged madly into the jungle to end their lives by provoking the normally docile birds. As foolish as they might have been, the memory of losing them still pains me. Recover anything you can from the bodies of the Bloodfeathers.' 'As our party came upon its final days, we began to turn on one another. Allegations of stealing, backstabbing, and murder overtook our hope that we would ever make it off this island. In our weakened squabbling state, we were wholly unprepared for the fearsome beasts that had, up until that point, avoided our camp. Some were relieved that their lives ended, not at the hands of their brothers, but at by the unbiased hand of nature. Search the bodies of several raptors to find the last artifact of our party.'

You search the giant's body and find a distinctly Combine looking knife it had hidden in its boot! Recover a Combine artifact from the Thaell Ew 0/2 (Thuliasaur Island) Kill two lizardman mobs to receive a "Crushed Combine Merchant's Skull" (note: each kill decreases Thaell Ew faction by 14). a Thaell Ew ritualist has been slain by _____! a Thaell Ew ritualist's corpse hisses and collapses violently! You dig through the Thaell Ew's supply bag and uncover an aged human skull! Recover a Combine artifact from the aviaks 0/2 (Thuliasaur Island) Kill two Bloodfeather aviaks to receive "Combine Navigator's Torn Maps" (note: each kill decreases Bloodfeather Aviaks faction by 7). a Bloodfeather harrier has been slain by _____! a Bloodfeather harrier's corpse collapses, its brittle bones shattered. You find some old looking maps the aviak had hidden under its wing! Recover a Combine artifact from the raptors 0/3 (Thuliasaur Island) Kill three raptors to receive a "Combine Settler's Provisions Bag". a young raptor has been slain by _____! a young raptor's corpse jerks violently as the life falls from its eyes. You dig through the raptor's remains and uncover the remains of a provisions bag it had swallowed whole! Deliver the artifacts to Ilsaria 0/4 (Thuliasaur Island) Hand in the above four items. Recovering the relics of Ilsaria's party has provided her some small consolation but it will still take time for her spirit to overcome the grief that binds her to this plane.
