Embersmith Nicha says 'I don't have much to offer you stranger, as I'm sure you can see', nodding toward the empty shelves behind her. 'Times have been [tough] lately.'

You say, 'Tough?'

Embersmith Nicha says 'I've had trouble getting what I need to make my goods. The Councilors have restricted the flow of materials coming from the mines to a select few, which doesn't include me. No one knows why they decided to do this, but it's obviously been bad for business. Without those [materials], I can't craft my [armor].'

You say, 'What materials?'

Embersmith Nicha says 'Are you trying to help me out? That's a dangerous game you're playing. It's not safe to cross the Councilors, but I won't turn down your help either. I need [Emberheart Shards] for all types of armor, but the other materials will vary. For plate and chain I need [Solenium Ore], and for cloth and leather I need [Cindersilk]. If you bring me what I need, I can make some [armor] for you as well.'

You say, 'What armor?'

Embersmith Nicha says 'I can craft [cloth], [leather], [chain], and [plate] armor. It won't be free though. You'll have to pay me for the armor template, and you'll have to get me the [materials] I need.'

You say, 'Can you craft chain?'

Embersmith Nicha says 'For the chain armor, I'll need some [Emberheart Shards] and [Solenium Ore]. You'll also need to buy a chain template from me.'

You say, 'Tell me about Emberheart Shards'

Embersmith Nicha says 'To get Emberheart Shards, you'll need to get your hands dirty. I can sell you an Ember Mining pick for a small fee. Inside the mines you can find Magmatic Stones. Use the pick to break those stones and if you are lucky, you'll find some shards.'

You say, 'What about Solenium Ore?'

Embersmith Nicha says 'The laborers in the mines keep any ore they find on their person. It's too valuable to leave lying around. I don't want to know how you intend to get it away from them.'

Buy an "Ember Mining Pick" and a template (just under 1,200 platinum each) from Embersmith Nicha, and then head to the mines in the eastern part of the zone. The mines are loaded with "a laborer" mobs that drop the Ores, and for the shards, you'll need to find objects called "Magmatic Stone" scattered uncommonly throughout the mines. Right-click the Ember Mining Pick on these stones.

Once you've gotten all six items, turn in those along with the template to Embersmith Nicha to complete the task.
