This is a raid event in Txevu, Lair of the Elite. It is one of the keying events within the zone.

The Vrex Invokers

Throughout the cave, you'll find 5x "Vrex Invoker _____" mobs. Each is surrounded by a number of "Tiv Prayer Chanter" mobs that each hit for a max ~1,900; have ~150,000 hitpoints; are mezzable, but immune to stun; and cast "Geotension", "Clinging Mud", and "Taelosian Vengeance":

Each Vrex Invoker hits for a max ~2,500 and has ~500,000 hitpoints. Jahzara casts "Geostrike"; Malik casts "Stone Animation" (pet summon); Kashka casts "Clinging Stone"; Raziya casts "Rock Storm"; and Akello casts "Earth Wave":

Geostrike: Single Target, Prismatic (-350)
1: Decrease Hitpoints by 1000 (L1) to 1100 (L100)

Stone Animation: Single Target, Unresistable (0)

Rock Storm: Targeted AE 50', Prismatic (-350)
1: Decrease Current HP by 750 (3 waves)

Earth Wave: PB AE 100', Prismatic (-350)

2: Stun (1.00 sec)

Vrex Invoker Jahzara says 'Brothers and sisters, do not let these heathens disrupt our prayers!'

Vrex Invoker Jahzara has been slain by _____!
Vrex Invoker Jahzara's corpse says 'Trushar's will be done.'

Upon the death of each Vrex Invoker, a non-aggro "Shade of a Vrex Invoker" spawns and makes its way to the northeasternmost cave in the network of caverns. Once all five Vrex Invokers are dead, make your way to this cave where you'll find High Priest Nkosi Bakari.

High Priest Nkosi Bakari says, 'My brothers and sisters, I have heard your calls and I have come. If what you say is true, our children have turned their backs upon Trushar and in doing so have invited evil upon our land. We must cleanse this place and restore belief to our people!'

The High Priest

Upon aggro, you'll have six mobs to content with: The main mob is the High Priest, which hits for a max ~2,900 (no flurry; no rampage); has ~1.3 million hitpoints; and casts "Wrath of Trushar":

Wrath of Trushar: PB AE 250', Magic (-325)
1: Decrease Spell Haste by 50%
2: Decrease HP when cast by 3000
3: Decrease Attack Speed by 40%
4: Decrease Hitpoints by 500 per tick
5: Decrease Movement by 55%
6: Increase Curse Counter by 45
7: Limit: Combat Skills Not Allowed

5x "Shade of a Vrex Invoker" are also aggro. These hit for a max ~500 and are immune to mez and stun. They proc a charm spell on random targets, after the duration of which they despawn and respawn:

Deathly hands reach deep within the body of the shade's victim as it draws itself forward and quickly fades from view. The only sign of its passage is a cold flame flickering in the eyes of its new host.
Shade of a Vrex Invoker begins to cast a spell. <Spiritual Possession>

Spiritual Possession: Single Target, Magic (-1000)
1: Charm up to level 0
2: Increase Hitpoints by 250 per tick
3: Increase Max Hitpoints by 10000
4: Increase Attack Speed by 99%
5: Increase Magic Resist by 500
6: Increase AC by 90
7: Increase Poison Counter by 99
8: Increase Poison Counter by 99
9: Increase Poison Counter by 99
10: Increase Poison Counter by 99
11: Increase Poison Counter by 99
12: Increase Poison Counter by 99

Upon charm wear-off (or immediately, if the charm is resisted), you see:

Having satiated itself on its previous host, the Shade of a Vrex Invoker reforms looking noticeably stronger.

When the High Priest reaches 50% health, one of the five shades is absorbed, bringing his health back to 100%:

Shade of a Vrex Invoker says 'High Priest, may my everlasting soul provide you with the strength to cleanse this temple!'

Shade of a Vrex Invoker dissolves into tendrils of ghostly vapor that reach out and replenish the strength of High Priest Nkosi Bakari.

This process repeats itself until all shades are down. (Note that you may be able to kill the Shades first so that they don't heal the High Priest. It's possible they may respawn, however.) If no Shades are up to regenerate the priest, you can kill it to complete the event.

Your faction standing with Trusik Tribe has been adjusted by -1.
High Priest Nkosi Bakari has been slain by _____!
High Priest Nkosi Bakari's corpse says 'I have failed you, Trushar. The darkness clings to your temple still, yet I have not the strength to wash it away.'

The High Priest drops 1x "Jade Inlaid Key" (key to the Zun`Muram's chamber) + 1x "Wand Harness" (alternate Txevu access item) + 3 items from this loot table:

Barrier of Serenity
Bow of the Whispering Wind

Did this with my 98 SK and cleric merc. I have 65K HP and 49K mana. It's a long boring tank and spank.

This is basically a DPS race; can you kill him before you run out of mana. At 98 me and my merc went OOM just as the high priest died. I was ready to use Staunch Recovery just in case.

You can't kill the shades or cast spells on them, If you melee them they drop aggro and walk to the back of the room and stand there. They may do this anyway so I don't know if meleeing them had anything to do with it. So just melee them until they walk away then focus on the priest.
