Shadow #3: Dial L for Luclin

This is a solo task and is the third task in a series of three. It begins with Kela Lor Telaris (map) who is found in the far southeastern part of the palace (head up inside tree - he is in the first room). Pre-Requisites: - Level 85 - Completion of "The Goddess, the Shard, and the Diabo" - Completion of "Aten's Wrath" You say, 'Hail, Kela Lor Telaris' Kela Lor Telaris says 'There is not much time to stop Diabo Va Xin Vellis from breaking into Luclin's inner chambers. I will lead my mercenaries in an assault on the corrupt akhevans in Luclin's chambers. You should return to Aten Ha Ra and [inform] her of what Diabo Va Xin Vellis is planning.' You say, 'I will inform her' Kela Lor Telaris says 'As the high priestess of Luclin, Aten Ha Ra should have the means to contact Luclin and warn her of what Diabo Va Xin Vellis is trying to do. Go quickly!' You have been assigned the task 'Dial L for Luclin'. You are to assist Aten Ha Ra in contacting Luclin to warn her about Diabo Va Xin Vellis. Inform Aten Ha Ra of Diabo Va Xin Vellis' plans 0/1 (Plane of Shadow) You say, 'Hail, Aten Ha Ra' Aten Ha Ra says 'Blasphemy! I cannot rely on Kela Lor Telaris to be successful so I must perform the ritual to contact Luclin directly. There are many things I will need and you will get them for me. Be quick or all may be lost.' Obtain a pristine fang from a shadowy lurker 0/1 (Plane of Shadow) Random update upon "a shadowy lurker" kill (underwater in the western side of the zone, outside the palace). Obtain an intact darklight core from a storm of light and darkness 0/1 (Plane of Shadow) Random update upon "a storm of light and darkness" kill (on and around the islands in the west part of the zone). Obtain an unbroken shard of xin va from an essence of xin va 0/1 (Plane of Shadow) Random update upon "an essence of xin va" kill (these are the dervish mobs found in the room where "A Thundering Tempest" spawns -- map). Obtain a vial of liquid shadow from a pile of shadow 0/1 (Plane of Shadow) Random update upon "a pile of shadow" kill (oozes found on the islands west of the palace, same area as "a storm of light and darkness"). Obtain a living shadow shard from a living essence of shadow 0/1 (Plane of Shadow) Random update upon "a living essence of shadow" kill (black crystal-appearing creatures found in the upper floor, same general area as the chest spawns in the previous task -- for a visual of how to get to this area, see the image on this NPC entry (the named "Volx Xi Xakra" spawns in the center of this area). Inform Aten Ha Ra that you have the items 0/1 (Plane of Shadow) Wait for Aten Ha Ra to conduct the ritual 0/1 (Plane of Shadow) You say, 'Hail, Aten Ha Ra' Aten Ha Ra takes the items from you. 'I will now begin the ritual. Do not interrupt me.' Aten Ha Ra is outraged.'I do not know how, but Diabo Va Xin Vellis has found a way to block my contact with Luclin. The blasphemer must be destroyed! Return to Kela Lor Telaris and find out how his assault is progressing. You shall assist him if he requires it. Check with Kela Lor Telaris on the progress of his assault 0/1 (Plane of Shadow) You say, 'Hail, Kela Lor Telaris' Kela Lor Telaris says 'We fought our way to Luclin's Chambers but the doors were sealed with a strange power. Nothing we tried was able to open them. There must be a way in!' Aten Ha Ra failed in her attempt to contact Luclin and Kela Lor Telaris was unable to breach Luclin's chambers. The living essence of shadow is located in the west or north hallway of the top main floor. If you manage to get there. 1st be sure to kill the Roam Zentha Lor Thall from your 2nd task on this progression. All other mobs needed to be killed are easy, this one is the hardest. Its a large Shard Crystal, no issues on killing it just the roamer.
