This task begins with Lady Carolline of Thex in Northern Felwithe. She is located at 0, -170 (on the balcony overlooking the entrance: you can use the Find Feature, CTRL+F, to get to her).

Initiating the Task

You say, 'Hail, Lady Carolline of Thex'

Lady Carolline of Thex smiles, trying to hide an obvious air of sadness, 'Greetings adventurer, such a lovely day isn't it?' The pained look on her face clearly gives away that something is [wrong].

You say, 'What's wrong?'

Lady Carolline of Thex says 'Wrong? Oh, nothing really. My beloved is off again on some [excursion] and has yet to return. I'm quite sure he will be fine though. How I miss our adventures together, the time we would spend exploring the hidden beauty of Norrath. We were especially fond of [Antonica].'

You say, 'Why were you fond of Antonica?'

Lady Carolline of Thex says 'A lovely land, despite the efforts of humans to ruin it...' The Koada`Dal's smile becomes more sincere. 'Lake Rathetear, oh the [stories] I could share of moonlit nights sitting on the docks. The noble aviaks keeping ardent guard over the sacred flame, the sunken towers and legend of the Megalodon...' She sighs and looks up to the sky.'

You say, 'What stories could you share?'

Lady Carolline of Thex blinks and looks back to you, her demeanor changing. 'Tell you what stranger, you come up with an [interesting tale] to distract me from my boredom, and I'll see if I can find something to [reward] you for your effort.'

You say, 'What reward would that be?'

Lady Carolline of Thex says 'Hmm, already pondering your riches before the effort of imagination? I suppose not many adventurers care to put any effort into their journeys these days.' The young high elf sighs. 'Anyway, what you will be rewarded with is something befitting a _____ such as yourself.'

You say, 'I have an interesting tale to tell'

Lady Carolline of Thex says, 'Something grand, truly epic and interesting! Just let me know when you've thought of a suitable story.'

You have been assigned the task 'An Epic Request'.

Be sure to carry your epic artifact with you!

Explore Locations

NOTE: There are 16 "explore" locations. Each location represents one class and, for that one class, will trigger an event. The other 15 classes only need to explore the location.

  • 1. Explore the Stage of Baladric's Symphony 0/1 (Dreadlands)

Task Window Says: Baldric Slezaf's tale is the pursuance of impossible beauty -- a symphony to rival the works of Ayonae Ro.

/loc 780, 9690, 1070 (valley with the portals -- in a pyramid near Baldric Slezaf). For non-Bards, this is a simple location update. For Bards, this initiates an event (for class event details, see the next section in this writeup).

  • 2. Explore the Valley of McArik's Reflection 0/1 (Lake of Ill Omen)

Task Window Says: Keras McArik stands stoic in a valley east of what was once Veksar.

/loc -225, -3535, 235 (near Keras McArik, due east of the center of the lake, near the zone boundary). For non-Berserkers, this is a simple location update. For Berserkers, this initiates an event (for class event details, see the next section in this writeup).

  • 3. Explore the Depths Behind the Scaled Mystics 0/1 (East Cabilis)

Task Window Says: Beneath the Scaled Mystics' Temple lies a rather complex series of tunnels.

/loc 940, -450, -22 (in the halls under the Shadow Knight, Beastlord, and Shaman guild). For non-Enchanters, this is a simple location update. For Enchanters, this initiates an event (for class event details, see the next section in this writeup).

  • 4. Explore the Outer Remnants of Torsis' Dark Mantle 0/1 (Emerald Jungle)

Task Window Says: Standing just outside the ruins of Torsis you can feel the intense spiritual void that caused the city's downfall.

/loc 295, -2000, -322 (at the entrance to City of Mist). For non-Shamans, this is a simple location update. For Shamans, this initiates an event (for class event details, see the next section in this writeup).

  • 5. Explore the Oasis in a Deserted Sea 0/1 (Timorous Deep)

Task Window Says: In a sea of desolate islands stands one secluded, sacred paradise.

/loc -11550, -1710, 13 (in the walled isle where the Cleric 2.0 final battle is held and the triggered Faydedar is located, should be labeled Portik (Bar) on your map). For non-Clerics, this is a simple location update. For Clerics, this initiates an event (for class event details, see the next section in this writeup).

  • 6. Explore the Bloody, Forgotten Trail of Hate's First Knight 0/1 (North Ro)

  • 7. Explore the Orbital Children of Ro 0/1 (West Freeport)

Task Window Says: There are not many locations on Norrath where you can see Drinal, Luclin, Anbeal, Trorsmang, Cordon, and Ro all at once.

/loc -185, -940, 20 (a study hall in arcane tower, near entrance to Arcstone). For non-Wizards, this is a simple location update. For Wizards, this initiates an event (for class event details, see the next section in this writeup).

  • 8. Explore the Plains of the Legendary Pegasus 0/1 (South Karana)

Task Window Says: Many people are amazed at the constructive feats of the Aviaks. How such noble but simple creatures were able to create such a majestic tower is still a mystery.

/loc -6745, 1065, 6 (Aviak's treehouse, just north of zone-in from Lake Rathetear). For non-Magicians, this is a simple location update. For Magicians, this initiates an event (for class event details, see the next section in this writeup).

they changed the end you just need 3 drops the last drop never appeared and the timer ran out and i got credit. I used a gate hammer to get out a few times i kept missing the first drop, the green ball at the beginning is impossible to pick up.

I ran all over TD -- never helped with Cleric 2.0 so "(in the walled isle where the Cleric 2.0 final battle is held and the triggered Faydedar is located)" was useless for me. Nor could I quickly and easily locate it within the text and comments of the Cleric 2.0 walkthrough.

It's the last island due South, it has a convenient label" Portik (Bar)". Way easier and shorter to type out.

I have done this quest several times trying to get the 4 items, finally was able to complete only because it was hard clicking 2 of the items. I would do this event 1st before visiting the other locations in case you have to drop the quest and get it again if you fail to obtain the 4 items.

    1) In Acrylia Caverns, next to A feral figure (Quarae), the "Poisoned Claw Tips" (Green Orb) spawns next to the bones & pick on the ground. It is ridiculously hard to click on to pick up. The Grimlings were attacking while I was ducked trying to click on the item and finally I was able to... hopefully they will fix that.

    2) In the Instance, while still chained to the wall, nuke/dot "a failed husk" that is laying on the ground to gain "Soul of a Failed Husk". It will just appear on your cursor.

    3) When you are free from the chains by Kuulbesh, run back over to where you killed "a failed husk" and pick up the claws in the ground to gain the "Decayed Claw Tips".

    4) After the event is about to end, you will see the red blob appear on the end of one of the large spikes in the lava pit. This proved difficult too to obtain. I was able to click the most right side of the blob once I was standing on the spike, which is the "Stilled Grimling Heart".

How did you manage to get the orb man? 5 times now and I still can't pick it up. It's so bad I've parked my Mage outside AC entrance so I can CotH from ZL. This is freakin' stupid. Devs should be hung by their toes.

To complete An Epic Retelling and claim "The Warder" https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=125903
you simply have to pick up four different items during the event in Acrylia.
First: there's a green glowing orb on the ground behind the Vah Shir at the beginning. It didn't appear for me until at some point while being attacked by the grimlings, so you only have a few seconds to grab it.
Second: kill the barbarian "a husk" in the jail cell and pick up the item it leaves; looks like a smoking fist.
Third: There's also a claw on the ground in the jail cell after you're released from the wall.
Fourth: after you kill the high priest, heal your warder, and the statue emerges from the pit, there's a red blob on one of the spikes at the edge of the pit, just inside.

Finally: DON'T DO ANYTHING! After you've picked up all four items just wait for the event to time out, you'll be ported out and given the "this will make for an interesting retelling" line.

First person on the server to complete it gets the systemwide, "A proclamation rings out from the royal halls of Felwithe, 'House Thex wishes all across the land to join us in congratulating, ____, the first Primalist to claim 'The Warder' as their own.'"

    Bonus notes:
-Must be at least the third time you've done the quest. I tried doing the Retelling parts on my first attempt and did not get the proper text.
-Becomes available with the launch of OoW on TLP.
-No title granted with the reward or server first (at least on Phinigel)
-Choosing the ornament once grants you two identical claws. The particle effect is always whiteish/blueish in mainhand, and always red in offhand no matter how much you try to switch them.

We need a write up for the whole retelling quest. I know it is very similar to this quest.

Other than the event part of Acrylia, what are all the quest steps associated with the retelling? Do you talk to the same NPC to get the retelling quest?

    An Epic Retelling
    # Aug 28 2019 at 12:47 AM Rating: Excellent
All of the "Retelling" quests are exact copies of "An Epic Request."

Every step provided to the player is the same.

The only differences are within the class-specific events. Completing a specific action (or set of actions) will result in a message: "this will make for an interesting retelling"

You can receive that message during "An Epic Request" but unless it is your 3rd time (having already obtained 1.0 and 1.5/2.0 augments) you will not get the new reward.

There is no prompt to tell you what you need, specifically, to get the "this will make for an interesting retelling" message. Drakah's write up is excellent for completing the "Epic Retelling" quest.

The quest, in my journal, said "An Epic Request" as well. So there's that.

It's the same quest; there's no difference in requesting or in the task description you're given. The only difference is it must be at least your third time running An Epic Request, picking up the items, and waiting for the event to time out.

I didn't think to log the event or record the new item names unfortunately, and it's been several months now. As far as I can remember, there was no new text through the entire event other than the "This will make for an interesting retelling..." message you get upon successful completion. Other than picking up the items in the Acrylia event, the steps are exactly the same.

    Alternate text
    # Mar 31 2014 at 3:53 PM Rating: Decent
If you know a bit about Vah Shir lore, Kuulbesh has an alternate bit of text he'll give you:

[Sat Mar 29 23:48:23 2014] Kuulbesh says 'When I returned from my travels I saw just how twisted and backwards my kinsmen were. I tried to change them... They did not appreciate my efforts... Tell me stranger, what do you know of the Master?'
[Sat Mar 29 23:48:47 2014] You say, 'He is Khati Sha'
[Sat Mar 29 23:48:47 2014] Kuulbesh smiles, somewhat surprised, 'Oh, so I suppose some truth has surfaced among those on the outside...'
[Sat Mar 29 23:48:48 2014] Kuulbesh nods over toward the apparently mindless Vah Shir sitting in the corner... 'She was almost royalty. Not too many of her kind can claim lineage true lineage to the family of the Master, not that it stopped his people from honoring his name in their ranks...'
[Sat Mar 29 23:48:53 2014] Quarae Sha moans in pain...

[Sun Aug 11 12:36:54 2013] A ragged figure gestures at you from the shadows with a clawed hand. Her eyes are wide and wild, her fur a mess, her scraps of clothing bloodied and torn. You wrinkle your nose. She has a feral scent, and something that strikes you as...wrongness.
You say, 'Hail, a feral figure'
[Sun Aug 11 12:37:00 2013] a feral figure hushes you and whispers, 'Shhh... The stranger must be quiet...' She motions for you to move closer before speaking again.
[Sun Aug 11 12:37:05 2013] a feral figure whispers, 'It comes to me alone? No... No... The Stranger is only a half of the whole... Where is your warder!?'
[Sun Aug 11 12:37:15 2013] a feral figure whispers, 'Shhh, quiet! ... The stranger must be quiet, they are close! They... Wait! I can hear them!'
[Sun Aug 11 12:37:15 2013] A curious sound echoes down the hallway. You feel compelled to stay back and listen...
[Sun Aug 11 12:37:20 2013] You say, 'Hail, a feral figure'

[Sun Aug 11 12:37:22 2013] A hoarse growling echoes through the tunnels, 'Grrr... It is just like them to send a stupid slave! You tell them to send a real messenger. Your information is worthless to the Master!'
[Sun Aug 11 12:37:22 2013] A quiet whisper retorts, 'And rightly get mysssself killed? You would call me the idiot?'

[Sun Aug 11 12:38:47 2013] a grimling high priest says 'You've done well Quarae, perhaps we'll feed you tonight... Back to the cages with you now.'
[Sun Aug 11 12:38:52 2013] The Grimlings quickly throw chains over you and your warder's body and begin dragging you to their holding cell.
[Sun Aug 11 12:38:52 2013] You have been tethered!
[Sun Aug 11 12:40:05 2013] The High Priest tugs tightly on your chains throwing you and your warder to his feet. He turns and shouts, ' Seal the doors, the ritual shall begin in an hour!'
[Sun Aug 11 12:40:07 2013] A slow grinding sound is heard as previously unseen doors begin to descend, locking you into the ritual chambers!
[Sun Aug 11 12:40:12 2013] Your body is wracked with an intense burst of pain as the Grimling High Priest kicks your warder in the throat. Its body collapses, weakened but still alive. The vicious Grimling then drags you off to the holding cell.
[Sun Aug 11 12:40:31 2013] Quarae trudges to the corner of cage and sits, an ever-present sense of defeat in her demeanor...
[Sun Aug 11 12:40:31 2013] The Grimling latches your chains to the wall. He smiles, 'You should be honored, not many intruders are worth leaving alive... For a little while anyway...' He looks over to the broken Barbarian body lying in the corner and laughs.
[Sun Aug 11 12:40:31 2013] The tether fades.
[Sun Aug 11 12:40:31 2013] The ice falls away from your body.
[Sun Aug 11 12:40:31 2013] You are no longer stunned.
[Sun Aug 11 12:40:31 2013] Grimling Chains begins to cast a spell.
[Sun Aug 11 12:40:31 2013] The strength of your will allows you to resume feigning death.
[Sun Aug 11 12:40:31 2013] You have been tethered!
[Sun Aug 11 12:40:37 2013] The door slams shut with a resonating crash! ... Though disoriented and confused you regain enough of your senses to make out a Grimling chained to the wall beside you, a confused Vah Shir muttering to herself in the corner, and a dark ceremony taking place beyond the bars. You imagine you're too late to be of any help to the Barbarian...
[Sun Aug 11 12:40:42 2013] an imprisoned grimling says 'Awake at last? ... Your kind were supposed to be tough. But they clipped your claws and locked you away. You're not the first they've done this ritual to, if that lightens your mood at all.' He looks toward the body in the corner...'
[Sun Aug 11 12:40:52 2013] an imprisoned grimling says ''... A ritual for the master, yes. They always listen to the master, and the master wants these rituals. You're the latest since that poor Vah Shir wretch.'
[Sun Aug 11 12:40:57 2013] Quarae rocks to and fro in the corner of the cage, purposefully gazing at the scraps of bone and rock that surround her... She quietly mumbles some unintelligible words, 'Khati...Shissar... Khati... Shissar... Temple... Shissar... Uncle... Khati...'
[Sun Aug 11 12:41:12 2013] an imprisoned grimling grins, 'You should not glare at me so. I am not as they are, or I would not be in this prison. I am Kuulbesh the Walker. Perhaps you have heard of me. No? ... I suppose it is not surprising, few hear anything of my kind other than stories of us being mindless thralls doing nothing but attacking the Vah Shir...'
[Sun Aug 11 12:41:22 2013] Kuulbesh says 'Not that you'd know it from looking at me, but I am the greatest Grimling hero alive. Only I left the caves and the woods and traveled the world, just as you adventurers do... Just like the Master did...'
[Sun Aug 11 12:41:32 2013] Kuulbesh says 'When I returned from my travels I saw just how twisted and backwards my kinsmen were. I tried to change them... They did not appreciate my efforts... Tell me stranger, what do you know of the Master?'
[Sun Aug 11 12:42:02 2013] Kuulbesh says 'Not much then, I imagine. All secondhand legend at any account...' The Grimling peers out past the bars, surveying the room. He continues, 'It was the heresy of understanding the Master's life that landed me here in these lovely accommodations...'
[Sun Aug 11 12:42:17 2013] Kuulbesh says 'Poor girl, she came looking for the great hero that died ages ago. Such a waste that she rots here now, a crumbling beauty, a mourned memory to one of those wayward Kerran... In some sick way she did find what she was after though...'
[Sun Aug 11 12:42:27 2013] Kuulbesh says 'That once great explorer... It's said that he was one of the first Vah Shir to be born on this land, his accomplishments were many. The first great Kerran Cartographer you may say...'
[Sun Aug 11 12:42:37 2013] Kuulbesh says 'It was on one of his mapping expeditions that he came upon what your people now call The Grey... The ever-curious adventurer, he fortified his breath with renewed endurance...''
[Sun Aug 11 12:42:37 2013] The Grimling chains fly out and restrain your body, throwing you back into the corner of the cell!
[Sun Aug 11 12:42:52 2013] Kuulbesh says 'While in The Grey, he was set upon the ancient ones who once ruled Kunark. Though a great explorer, unrivaled in his dedication, the forces that ambushed him were nothing any lone being could hope to defeat... Though it was not death the explorer would be rewarded with for his trespass, the Shissar were more interested in what he had discovered.'
[Sun Aug 11 12:43:06 2013] You say, 'Hail, Kuulbesh'
[Sun Aug 11 12:43:07 2013] Kuulbesh says 'The Shissar used every means and method they had at their disposal to torture and extract information from this explorer, but to no avail. The torture became increasingly brutal, to the point where he resigned himself to die a captive of the twisted snake men.'
[Sun Aug 11 12:43:17 2013] Quarae turns to face Kuulbesh, wide eyed and angry. Yet, with seemingly no understanding of any of what he's said...
[Sun Aug 11 12:43:18 2013] You say, 'Hail, Kuulbesh'
[Sun Aug 11 12:43:22 2013] Kuulbesh turns, motioning his hand over his mouth. He winces as he pulls a jagged tooth from his jaw. His gap-toothed grin suggests his history lesson is not for your sake, but to serve as cover for anyone listening in...
[Sun Aug 11 12:43:27 2013] Kuulbesh whispers, 'A tool for our escape. I've taken care to sharpen this one into a pick...' The Grimling looks around and then continues his tale, 'What is known beyond this is considered the most treasonous heresy to both my kind and the Shissar. Despite ardent claims otherwise, Ssraeshza is keenly aware of his own mortality. It was deemed necessary for the Rhags to discover some manner of leashing the divine to the mortal, so that their god may truly be called so...
[Sun Aug 11 12:43:32 2013] Kuulbesh discretely picks away at his cuffs with his sharpened tooth until a faint 'click' is heard.
[Sun Aug 11 12:43:32 2013] Kuulbesh says 'Not wanting to waste the life of any of their own kind, the Rhags decided to try their newest experiments upon the now broken captive... What the Shissar had not counted on was the fortification of the explorer's spirit. In an unknown twist of fate, the Shissar had their greatest success and failure occur simultaneously!'
[Sun Aug 11 12:43:42 2013] Kuulbesh says 'They had created a demi-god, but had been entirely unable to constrain his actions. The immortal explorer rose up from the slab and from him erupted a void that cost the Shissar a great many of their priests. It was at this moment the explorer absorbed the very essence of his captors. He had escaped, but at the cost of his former life...'
[Sun Aug 11 12:43:47 2013] Kuulbesh leans forward and picks the lock holding you to the wall.
[Sun Aug 11 12:43:47 2013] Kuulbesh says 'The aimless god wandered the lands, finally coming upon a small cave. He took refuge here for longer than we know... The unending years of torment took their toll on our god, his hatred intensified, and yet he did not know why. He still does not!'
[Sun Aug 11 12:43:57 2013] The tether fades.
[Sun Aug 11 12:44:07 2013] Kuulbesh says 'It is this legend of lies my brothers live for our master, to defeat the Shissar and cleanse the lands of the Vah Shir for him... In leaving the caves and learning the truth, I couldn't bear to let this go on any longer... You see, Gurmarl has made a deal with the Shissar. He would sacrifice a thousand-fold what the Shissar would to reenact the ritual that created our god.'
[Sun Aug 11 12:44:12 2013] You feel as if part of the dark enchantments inhibiting your magic has been lifted. Your connection to the spiritual still leaves you unable to channel a warder however.
[Sun Aug 11 12:44:12 2013] Kuulbesh whipsers 'Now, prepare yourself for our escape. The ritual begins! ... I suggest you prepare any spirit infused weaponry you have... It may prove a valuable bane to anyone that tries to stop us.'
[Sun Aug 11 12:44:29 2013] The Grimling spiritualists chant in unison, bodies rigid, as they surround your warder. The animal snarls and fights against the bonds that hold it to no avail.
[Sun Aug 11 12:44:37 2013] The chamber begins shaking as a massive figure appears in the center of the room. Chieftain Gurmarl, the Hand of Khati Sha, laughs as he surveys the devout worshippers.
[Sun Aug 11 12:44:41 2013] You summon the spirit of Lachemit.
[Sun Aug 11 12:44:42 2013] As you try to manifest the spirit of your warder into a physical form your body is wracked with intense pain! Your connection to the spiritual wavers and you are struck violently with the wrath of the spirits!!
[Sun Aug 11 12:44:47 2013] Dark forces coalesce above the chanting Grimlings. You draw away, your spiritual senses cringing. Your warder begins to howl frantically.
[Sun Aug 11 12:44:57 2013] It is for the Master that we call upon the Sanctum Wards! Come forth so that we may honor him through you...
[Sun Aug 11 12:44:57 2013] Quarae stares longingly at your captured warder. She begins frantically chanting in a low monotone voice, 'A lost one... the stranger... a lost one... stranger...'
[Sun Aug 11 12:45:03 2013] Kuulbesh says 'Prepare yourself for our escape stranger... As the brains of our duo, I suggest the muscle', he looks at you, 'be ready in case those guards try and slow us down!''
[Sun Aug 11 12:45:07 2013] From the ground rise two great pillars of the Grimling's God. As they rise they skewer two sacrificial deathspeakers from end to end.
[Sun Aug 11 12:45:12 2013] Kuulbesh winces as the Grimling deathspeakers howl in delight. He sighs, 'The price my brothers pay for ignorance... It will not be long stranger, the warders do not leave the inner sanctum for more than mere moments... Long enough to...' He turns away, having seen what is about to take place all too many times before.
[Sun Aug 11 12:45:22 2013] A cold wind blows through the sealed chamber as the two warders of the inner sanctum materialize.
[Sun Aug 11 12:45:22 2013] The chanting ritualists turn to the warders and smile. In an instant their bodies fall to the ground, a blood sacrifice to the Master..
[Sun Aug 11 12:45:32 2013] The cold wind bellowing through the room fades... With the sacrifice complete, Gurmarl and the wards return to inner sanctum, leaving the spiritualists to complete the ritual.
[Sun Aug 11 12:45:37 2013] Kuulbesh nods, 'The time is now, we must go!' He quickly picks away at the locked door until a familiar snapping sound is heard. He turns to you and whispers, 'Quickly now! Follow me!
[Sun Aug 11 12:45:48 2013] Kuulbesh yells, 'NOW!' He activates the stone door and begins running toward the exit.
    - have to fight some guards, I think 5 or 6, but comes in waves-
[Sun Aug 11 12:47:22 2013] As the final guard dies a booming voice roars out from the inner chambers, 'It is no matter to us now beastlord. The ritual is done.' The sealed door slides open, heralding the arrival of the Grimling Spiritualists. With the ritual complete, the royal priests turn their magic against you!
[Sun Aug 11 12:47:37 2013] a grimling high priest begins chanting in a grating high pitched voice!
[Sun Aug 11 12:47:51 2013] The High Priest looks weakened as his Spiritualists take more damage.
[Sun Aug 11 12:49:27 2013] The last Grimling falls, but your thirst for blood is only rising. You stagger as waves of animalistic instinct crash into you. Lacking the bond to your warder, the primal powers you had mastered are quickly overwhelming you.
[Sun Aug 11 12:49:37 2013] The Vah Shir looks at your former warder. The sadness in her eyes manages to break through the feral glaze. She speaks, 'They did this to me...they took mine away. They took her...my beautiful...' She clutches her head and growls. 'No, no! Cannot be. It's all gone!!'
[Sun Aug 11 12:49:42 2013] With a snarl, your warder lunges, snapping at The Vah Shir. She hisses and recoils. Your former warder turns its gaze on you, eyes murderous. Your urge to kill rises. You struggle against it with all of your will, but red fills your vision.
[Sun Aug 11 12:50:07 2013] Your warder pulls back, bloodied, limping. It collapses. Your mouth waters. You are overwhelmed with the need to strike, to finish it!!
[Sun Aug 11 12:50:12 2013] With a yell, Kuulbesh strikes you with a burning torch. You pull away, the fire evoking a primitive sense of fear, but also awakening a shred of lucidity.
[Sun Aug 11 12:50:17 2013] Kuulbesh shouts, 'No more, creature, no more! Return to your senses! We must be away! [Heal the beast] if you must, but be swift about it!'
[Sun Aug 11 12:50:35 2013] You throw your spiritual powers into your warder, pushing against the dark forces that corrupt it. The warder shudders violently, lets out a low whine, and is still. You clutch at it with desperate hands. It fades away.
[Sun Aug 11 12:50:37 2013] You fall back, despair overwhelming the animal urges that rage within you. The warm presence you always felt at the back of your mind, the assurance of your warder's bond and companionship, is gone. You close your eyes as misery clutches you. Your degrading sanity is nothing compared to the loss of your warder. Your companion. Your friend...
[Sun Aug 11 12:50:37 2013] Kuulbesh shakes his head in regret.
[Sun Aug 11 12:50:37 2013] Quarae weeps softly in the corner.
[Sun Aug 11 12:50:57 2013] You feel something. A spark. Desperately, you grasp at the feeling within yourself. A warm light floods you, weak at first. You throw yourself into it, supporting it and strengthening it with your essence. The swirling tempest of animal instincts subsides, falling back within your control. You have to know if your healing worked. [You have to summon your warder]!
[Sun Aug 11 12:51:07 2013] You draw the spirit of your warder forth, giving it a physical form. You find yourself laughing as it appears, unable to resist hugging it to yourself. The animal growls happily. You feel relief and gratitude flow through the bond you share together
[Sun Aug 11 12:51:12 2013] A moment passes, and your feelings of joy slowly transmute into thoughts of fear... The room begins to shake.
[Sun Aug 11 12:51:27 2013] Kuulbesh yells, 'The master! The master!'
[Sun Aug 11 12:51:27 2013] Khati Sha surveys the room then booms, 'Foul creature! What have you done? The ritual! The ritual must go forward! Where are my spiritualists, my loyal followers, my filthy little cretins?'
[Sun Aug 11 12:51:32 2013] Khati Sha glares at Kuulbesh as he speaks, 'Minion! What of the ritual? Where is my offering?'
[Sun Aug 11 12:51:32 2013] Kuulbesh cowers, his voice now timid and quiet, 'Master... It was Gumarl... He... Has been dealing with the Shissar to...
[Sun Aug 11 12:51:42 2013] Khati Sha roars furiously at the mention of the Shissar, 'GUMARL!!!!'
[Sun Aug 11 12:51:42 2013] The decorated Chieftain appears out of thin air in front of the ancient demigod. His stoic expression a tell tale sign of the truth in Kuulbesh's allegations.
[Sun Aug 11 12:51:52 2013] Khati Sha roars, 'Contemptible little fool...' He swings his arm back and flings Gurlmarl's heart into the burning lava below. The Grimling falls dead without a sound.
[Sun Aug 11 12:51:57 2013] Kuulbesh scurries away in fear.
[Sun Aug 11 12:51:57 2013] Khati Sha turns to face you as he speaks, 'And you... Filthy creature...' He glares at you with boundless contempt, a maelstrom of wayward rage.
[Sun Aug 11 12:51:57 2013] Khati Sha, the Sanctum Demigod begins to cast a spell.
[Sun Aug 11 12:51:57 2013] Your body is encased in ice.
[Sun Aug 11 12:52:03 2013] You can't cast spells while stunned!
[Sun Aug 11 12:52:04 2013] You can't cast spells while stunned!
[Sun Aug 11 12:52:07 2013] Khati Sha looks deep into your eyes and whispers a single command, 'Die!' He slowly raises his claw, preparing to sever your head. In an instant you are thrown against the wall as Quarae leaps in front of the blow!
[Sun Aug 11 12:52:07 2013] The ice falls away from your body.
[Sun Aug 11 12:52:07 2013] You are no longer stunned.
[Sun Aug 11 12:52:12 2013] Quarae falls to the ground, fur matted with blood. A final word escapes her lips, 'Uncle...'
[Sun Aug 11 12:52:22 2013] Khati Sha hovers over the ruined body, her final words evoking some small memory in him... A more mortal voice echoes out of his frame, 'I remember fields of green. Tall trees. The feel of water. These were good things. This was a good life. But they fade...fading away. I must go...back into the void where I rest. Twisted once more. Sleep..
[Sun Aug 11 12:52:27 2013] Khati Sha kneels and with uncharacteristic gentleness and picks up the body of his niece. With a blinding flash, the figures are gone...
[Sun Aug 11 12:52:32 2013] Kuulbesh says, 'Come, we must go. They will be back. I will lead you out when you are [ready].'
[Sun Aug 11 12:52:57 2013] Your task 'An Epic Request' has been updated.
[Sun Aug 11 12:52:57 2013] Kuulbesh says 'Time to part. We made a good team, no? Perhaps once again in the future, we shall work together again. The fate of the world may depend on it! Farewell stranger...'

He would sacrifice a thousand-fold what the Shissar would to reenact the ritual that created our god.'
[Thu Mar 21 10:45:15 2013] Kuulbesh whipsers 'Now, prepare yourself for our escape. The ritual begins! ... I suggest you prepare any spirit infused weaponry you have... It may prove a valuable bane to anyone that tries to stop us.'
[Thu Mar 21 10:46:11 2013] Kuulbesh winces as the Grimling deathspeakers howl in delight. He sighs, 'The price my brothers pay for ignorance... It will not be long stranger, the warders do not leave the inner sanctum for more than mere moments... Long enough to...' He turns away, having seen what is about to take place all too many times before.
[Thu Mar 21 10:46:35 2013] Kuulbesh nods, 'The time is now, we must go!' He quickly picks away at the locked door until a familiar snapping sound is heard. He turns to you and whispers, 'Quickly now! Follow me!
[Thu Mar 21 10:46:59 2013] Kuulbesh yells, 'NOW!' He activates the stone door and begins running toward the exit.
[Thu Mar 21 10:47:07 2013] Kuulbesh calls out, 'Fight if you must. Kuulbesh will leave. It is the tactically superior choice!'
[Thu Mar 21 10:59:48 2013] With a yell, Kuulbesh strikes you with a burning torch. You pull away, the fire evoking a primitive sense of fear, but also awakening a shred of lucidity.
[Thu Mar 21 10:59:53 2013] Kuulbesh shouts, 'No more, creature, no more! Return to your senses! We must be away! [Heal the beast] if you must, but be swift about it!'
[Thu Mar 21 11:00:40 2013] Kuulbesh shakes his head in regret.
[Thu Mar 21 11:01:36 2013] Kuulbesh yells, 'The master! The master!'
[Thu Mar 21 11:01:41 2013] Khati Sha glares at Kuulbesh as he speaks, 'Minion! What of the ritual? Where is my offering?'
[Thu Mar 21 11:01:41 2013] Kuulbesh cowers, his voice now timid and quiet, 'Master... It was Gumarl... He... Has been dealing with the Shissar to...
[Thu Mar 21 11:01:50 2013] The decorated Chieftain appears out of thin air in front of the ancient demigod. His stoic expression a tell tale sign of the truth in Kuulbesh's allegations.
[Thu Mar 21 11:02:05 2013] Kuulbesh scurries away in fear.
[Thu Mar 21 11:02:37 2013] Kuulbesh says, 'Come, we must go. They will be back. I will lead you out when you are [ready].'
[Thu Mar 21 11:03:19 2013] Kuulbesh says 'Time to part. We made a good team, no? Perhaps once again in the future, we shall work together again. The fate of the world may depend on it! Farewell stranger...'
    ----------------------------------------------------------------
[Thu Mar 21 10:45:38 2013] The chamber begins shaking as a massive figure appears in the center of the room. Chieftain Gurmarl, the Hand of Khati Sha, laughs as he surveys the devout worshippers.
[Thu Mar 21 11:01:36 2013] Khati Sha surveys the room then booms, 'Foul creature! What have you done? The ritual! The ritual must go forward! Where are my spiritualists, my loyal followers, my filthy little cretins?'
[Thu Mar 21 11:01:41 2013] Khati Sha glares at Kuulbesh as he speaks, 'Minion! What of the ritual? Where is my offering?'
[Thu Mar 21 11:01:50 2013] Khati Sha roars furiously at the mention of the Shissar, 'GUMARL!!!!'
[Thu Mar 21 11:02:00 2013] Khati Sha roars, 'Contemptible little fool...' He swings his arm back and flings Gurlmarl's heart into the burning lava below. The Grimling falls dead without a sound.
[Thu Mar 21 11:02:05 2013] Khati Sha turns to face you as he speaks, 'And you... Filthy creature...' He glares at you with boundless contempt, a maelstrom of wayward rage.
[Thu Mar 21 11:02:05 2013] Khati Sha, the Sanctum Demigod begins to cast a spell.
[Thu Mar 21 11:02:14 2013] Khati Sha looks deep into your eyes and whispers a single command, 'Die!' He slowly raises his claw, preparing to sever your head. In an instant you are thrown against the wall as Quarae leaps in front of the blow!
[Thu Mar 21 11:02:28 2013] Khati Sha hovers over the ruined body, her final words evoking some small memory in him... A more mortal voice echoes out of his frame, 'I remember fields of green. Tall trees. The feel of water. These were good things. This was a good life. But they fade...fading away. I must go...back into the void where I rest. Twisted once more. Sleep...'
[Thu Mar 21 11:02:32 2013] Khati Sha kneels and with uncharacteristic gentleness and picks up the body of his niece. With a blinding flash, the figures are gone...
    Beastlord Finished Today

I did this on my Beast today.

At the phase in Acrylia Caverns it stripped all my buffs and killed my warder, not sure if that was due to any error I had made myself or not.

It wasn't bad at all, follow NPC, kill when required, use epics for weapons, summon warder and heal warder, really basic stuff.

Personally am only doing this the one time in order to have Epic 1.0 graphics available as the rest are pretty seriously crappy in my opinion.

For Bards, bring your instruments.. lute, flute, horn and drum. you are required to play in the band. Baldric will inform you what you need to play, if you play the instrument correctly, he will nod approvingly. After the concert, Blackwings ( a dragon) will spawn. He is easily dispatched.
