If you are a beginning Iksar Necromancer, this is a great quest to grab as well, since you will be hunting sarnak hatchlings for their brains and cloth in regards to your 1st and 2nd skullcap. Not a ton of exp and coin but it does help!

#Anonymous, Posted: Jan 22 2002 at 8:36 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) This is a Iksar Shadow Knight only quest. Your reward is a squires khurki, but you must also turn in your pawns khurki that you get when you turn in your guild letter.

i was waiting for a friend of mine to give me his old crafted in LoIO and i killed anything that was around me... after i had like 3 backpacks full of brains i decided t ofind out what the wer for. so i went around to all the guys in the area around WCab till i found the Warlord... i turned them all in but i never got an item.

P.S. does anyone know what the Red Headband or A Sarnak whelp Head is for???

Ok, first off, anyone have a clue where a good place is to go to learn about the faction levels ? If you are a give race/class is there an online resource that lets you know if you are just wasting your time trying to raise faction ?

That said, Im a Troll ShadowKnight. After killing enough Goblins and Sarnaks with my friends.. I finally got the point where the Guards barely tolerate me but at least not KOS.

So I turned in SIX backpacks full of Sarnak Brains and the faction levels still are Dubious to the Guards and the Merchants in the nearby buildings (All of this is in Lake of Ill Omen) still wont talk to me or let me sell.

So.. is faction working where you have to be less than Dubious to have merchants sell to you ? Or is this a Racial thing and Im just screwed as far as the Merchants are concerned ?

    Summary:
Kill Gobs and Sarnkas to get past Guards.
Kill Skeletons and the Sarnak Hatchlings near the town seem to spawn alot more frequently. Kill the Tiger Cubs and the Gobs seem to spawn more.

Just my two cents worth.. very tired after many long hours of trying this out. And still no ability to sell to Merchants... Upset Troll here. :(

Go from LOIO and head to Kurn's Tower in Field of Bones. Fill those 6 backpacks with bone chips from Kurn's. Then go to the Enterance to Cabilis and turn the bone chips into Trooper Mozo in stacks of 4 chips, 4 stacks at a time. You will get faction with every group except the Brood of Kodiz (sp?) in Cabilis. And with 6 backpacks full, you will boost your faction very quickly. As for faction starting points, if you follow Cazic Thule you will start out at about neg 1000 with the Legion and neg 1500 with everyone else. If you aren't a Cazic follower then you start out neg 1500 to the LEgion and neg 2000 to everyone else. I have a DE SK and she is ally (stopped getting faction) with the Legion and threatening or indifferent to EVERY group in Cabilis.

The only way I've found to raise Brood of Kodiz (Necro) faction is killing iskars in FoB. The iskar maruader ring quest is a great way to raise ALL factions in Cabilis because you get faction with the necro guild by killing the iskars and faction with all the other gorups by turning in the iskar marauder MM nose rings to the warrior guild.

Just a little update sometime ago they changed it you have to turn them in in 4 stacks of 1 bone chip, you will no longer get more than 1 message a turn in. So if you turn in 4 stacks of 4 you still just get 1 message.

    Faction is the point
    # Feb 13 2001 at 3:59 AM Rating: Default
I think this is more for those races who are trying to get into the City than it is for Iksar. If you are an elf or some such this is pretty good faction hit here in the direction you want to go.

    Sarnak brain quest
    # Nov 23 2000 at 7:10 PM Rating: Decent
This quest was relatively simple for a 5th level warrior. It resulted in for me a dried froglok leg.
Has anyone else recvd anything different?
    RE: Sarnak brain quest
    # Jan 26 2001 at 3:26 PM Rating: Default
Oh yay. A stinking dried froglok leg. I'll try and contain my enthusiasm. The XP wasn't even all that good, and the coin was just sad.

Considering how few Sarnak hatchlings appear to have brains (and we'll set aside how that relates to them as a world power), I expected slightly better.

And as mentioned many times... It's good for faction... very good for faction....

    # May 17 2001 at 8:11 AM Rating: Default
Oh I guess he wanted a Wurmslayer for his time..
The hatchlings are very common spawns, in less then 30minutes I think I looted like 10brains.
And to gain a bit o extra exp on it doesnt hurt.
Four of them gives a blue bub at necro tower at least.

You are actually talking about a different quest I think. Necros receive the skullcap when they turn 4 in at the Tower of Death.

Warlord Geot is supposedly located at pos 5980, neg 6581 according to EQ Info
    RE: Location of Warlord Geot
    # Feb 16 2001 at 9:15 AM Rating: Good
heh heh I suck with Loc

Warlord Geot is located in one of the balconies outside the Cabilis gates. If you are *exiting* the Cabilis Gates at Lake of Ill Omen, the tower on your far left, it is a small tower, it stands alone, with only a ramp that goes straight to the balcony with the warlord on it. Hope this helps
