    You say, 'Hail, Urkath Greyface'

Urkath Greyface says 'Errr? What you say to Urrrkath? Ah. Hello to you as well, furrrless type person.'

Urkath Greyface says 'Errrrrmf. If only just that wish for Urrkath?'

    You say, 'What wish?'

Urkath Greyface says 'Wish? Oh. Urrkath old kerran. Urrkath pass on soon. It great disappointment that Urrkath never see beautiful forest of elves. Now all Urrkaath want is silvani leaf from elf forest. So me can see at least little part of forest.'

You can get one by killing a brownie named Ivie Bramblefoot in Lesser Faydark. She is a level 20 or so druid who occasionally spawns in place of an orc centurion in the south corner of LF.

Urkath Greyface says 'Errr? This is.. this is silvani leaf! Rrrrrr.. So nice. This means much to Urrkath, furrrless one. Please, take this for such kind work.'

Your faction standing with Kerra Isle has been adjusted by 5.

    Where is the little ****
    # Nov 30 2004 at 12:00 PM Rating: Decent
I've looked and looked, I've camped the 790, 2020 spot for a full day and night now. The only person who spawns there is the Tristle Brownie character. The orc, or an orc sometimes walks past. But no brownie. Is the main text right then being in the South Corner? As I've followed an Orc doing a path around near the Shadowed men in the South Eastern end of LFay?

    Trigger phrase
    # May 22 2003 at 1:34 AM Rating: Decent
Just out of curiosity, what is the trigger phrase to get Urkath to give this quest? All that he will say to me is "Hello to you too, furrrless type person."
    Chief dropped it too
    # May 13 2003 at 1:13 AM Rating: Decent
The Sylvani Leaf dropped off the orc chief near the ranger outpost, I was killing the chief and lego there and one dropped. Never killed Ivie Bramblefoot so maybe the leaf is a /random drop in L'Fay ?.

    # Dec 20 2001 at 9:40 PM Rating: Decent
I've visited Kerra Island and contacted/ reported to the GM of Urkath Grayface missing 3X. I've even resorted to several day cycles of killing just about everything on the island in hope of it being merely a case of PH to no avail. Please update.

Did this quest today as a 27 Mage and Urkath is back where he is supposed to be.

Took two hours of killing orcs for Ivie to spawn in LFay (Loc given in other posts is correct). He lasted about 15 seconds and didn't do a point of damage to me. I think he did some damage to my pet though. Gated out as soon as I got the leaf, as I have had bad experiences in the past with the Equestrielle. ;)

    Spawn point
    # Sep 02 2001 at 12:51 AM Rating: Good
The spawn point for the orc and eventually the brownie Ivie is pos 790 pos 2020 and has an eight minute spawn rate. I hunted it for about 2 hours before Ivie finally spawned. Urkath is located in the first hut on the left in the southern section of Kerra Isle with the two docks in it. Loc of the front door to hut is pos 260 pos 140. Fyzz 34 season Wizard

    # Dec 31 2001 at 10:40 AM Rating: Default
The 790,2020 spawn point appears to be correct, at least when it's the patroling orc centurion. Looks like the cent patrols from there to 721,3033 where it turns and heads toward the direction of 327,3585 (near the orc camp). Don't know if the 327,3585 location is the endpoint, but I think it's close. Anyway, the cent then walks back and forth along this route. I am not sure, but I think Ivie spawned for me at this end of the route. It appears to be a 6 minute spawn. I killed 3 cents before Ivie appeared.

Watch out for Equestrielle though! Sees through invis! I worked it so my wiz had 407 hit points, so I could survive a chance encounter with her. Unfortunately, I forgot to put on my two alligator earrings (10hp total) when she did run into me. Result? One dead wizard! After my CR, I killed another orc, and then Ivie spawned. After killing Ivie (20% health left), Equestrielle ran by. Ack! Lucky for me, she hadn't apparently recovered her harm touch. /Cheer

Ivie was BTM (blue to me) at 22nd level, and wasn't hard to take down. He cast a DOT on me (stinging swarm?) and a couple ignites I think.

Just killed Ivie myself today using this info. The spawn point is pretty dead on I think. Just go there and sit down, the orc wanders back past this point every 5 minutes or so. At level 29 he was still eager to try to take a chunk out of my Wizard hide. I found the spawn time to be closer to 6 and a half or so minutes myself though. When Ivie spawned I was meditating and she promptly Harm Touched me for 401 damage, then wandered off and left me alone. I bound wound and meditated up till full life then stood this time waiting for her. A couple of minutes later she showed up and I opened up a can of Whup-***. 2 Inferno Shocks and a Shock of Ice doing a total of about 500 damage was enough to bring her down in about 15 seconds. All she replied with was about 30 melee damage total, a Swarm DOT and a couple of 30 point DD's. Got the leaf and am now off to turn it in. Total time spent waiting was about an hour. Oh, and there is no point hanging around Orc Camp #7, I went there for a bit but never saw the wandering orc, plus I went LD and died to the Orc Lego. Just go to +790, +2020 and wait.
    401 harm touches.
    # Oct 09 2001 at 4:09 AM Rating: Decent
what did that to you was Equestrielle the corrupted unicorn that wanders around. She doesn't seem to keep up an attack lately though, just nibbles you for 401 and than wanders on. If she is in the area though, she will aggro you, and she has a huge aggro rang.

    Safe travels.

    # May 17 2001 at 10:46 AM Rating: Decent
Tracked this guy out to the orc Camp ... for those of you having trouble .. I was chasing him around while invis and he ran a circuit around the camp for a good 10-15 minutes.. so if you need him ...look around or wait a few feet outside the orc camp..he will run by.

This conned blue to a ranger 24, so can go at least as low as level 23.

In my experience, the brownie and placeholders did not spawn in the ditch. The orc cent placeholders do make a bee-line for the ditch, not sure about Ivie. The loc is actually quite a ways from ditch. While I do not know the exact loc, I was at 741, 2937 and Ivie attacked me. The spawn rate is roughly eight minutes, so I think I was right on top of the spawn site. Hard to tell, dudes pretty small. Anyway, it worked out for me. I was apprehensive to the Kerrans and still received the mantle. The catch phrase is "what wish". Not sure that it matters, but that is what I did.
    Ivie's Sure Spot
    # Jan 28 2001 at 4:16 AM Rating: Good
Finally, I got Ivie at last. I spotted the Ivie at around this loc: positive 32.89, positive 3852.74, negative 51.23; it's near the Orc Camp (Orc Camp number 7 on EQ Atlas Map with orc centurions only) to the West in the small valley that has a tree on one of the walls; it's the placehold of an orc centurion who spawned there.

And I like to add one more thing, I got Ivie in the night. I think some quest creatures are spawned depend on darkness and daylight.

Yeah, I camped at that Orc Camp in the corner of South West of Lesser Faydark for hours, but there was no brownie. :-( I don't think the phrases from quest givers are matter for you before turning in quest items; they are just information for players to know where to go and get quest items. Thanks for the loc.

Assuming the brownie makes an appearance often enough (not constant orc placeholders) and the leaf is a common drop, this seems a worthwhile quest for casters at least who have lesser armor to choose from (especially shoulder slot). My 26th enchanter is currently wearing raw silk, these shoulderpads are twice the AC and a little Str to boot. :)
Regarding the quest, I was in Kerra Ridge the day they revamped it, and while a few of us explorers were standing around discussing other quests we'd found, Urkath spontaneously said "Ah, if only I had this one wish" [translated from the broken Common Kerrans speak <g>].
Ask him "what wish" and he tells you about how he wishes he had a leaf from Faydark to remind him of something from his past (I guess he was there awhile back, I can't recall now).
    Is it good?
    # Oct 13 2000 at 2:38 AM Rating: Default
For rogues who care more for strength than AC this really isnt such an awful reward, but the magic resistance on the bloodstained mantle still makes it a better wear.

    Ivie's Location
    # Aug 15 2000 at 1:51 PM Rating: Decent
Let me see if I can be a bit more precise concerning the location of this spawn. It is a ditch at the extreme western edge of the zone (location maybe 3800/0 or so) between the Faerie village and the Fae Royal Court. If you download the LFay map from EQ Atlas, the spot is around location key #7, Orc Camp.

Also, you might want to bump his level up a bit. I got xp from killing it at level 30, so maybe level 22-24 is more inline.

Finally, high faction isn't needed with the Kerrans to receive the reward. I am 'apprehensive' to them. Urkath does not utter a triggering phrase- at least I didn't get one. Just hand him the Silvani Leaf and receive the Pads. Faction is plus KerraIsle only.
    Ivie
    # Jul 03 2000 at 2:50 PM Rating: Decent
Ivie, as I killed him a minute ago, spawned for me in a 'ditch'. He walks back and forth in the same spot, so don't worry about not having tracking. (The spot I found him in is a little ways out from the entrance of the brownie village.) He was blue to me at 25,so 20 or so is a good guess. He only casts ignite and a weak dispel, and casts thornsheild and SoW on himself. Its an easy quest, and the result is pretty good...
