This is a Special Slayer achievement.
What sets golems apart from other creatures of stone is the lack of sentience. Some golems are constructed out of body parts and others are made of dough, such as the dreaded gingerbread golem. - Gingerbread Men, Golems, Muddites, and Statues. There are a lot of golems deep in Vergalid Mines if you're 75+ and have a healer. It would be difficult for anyone of lower levels.

Thunder Crest (off Dreadlands) was good for me. There are many types of sentinels that count as golems or statues, and there a lot of them in the zone. I first went to Stillmoon Temple, would get my sentinels and then zone into The Ascent to get Kirn (mystical horses) and pumas, and more sentinels. If you have not done goblins they are there too. But TC has way more Kirnes and sentinels, and there is a good number of puma there, and tons of drakes (if you need that).

I think you mean Thunder Crest off of The Broodlands, not The Dreadlands Trabik :) Good way to acquire this achievement simultaneously with others though, should help out lots.
