Go to the Puma tunnel in Crescent reach, there is 15-20 puma's with a fast respawn, about 1-2 minutes.
Also pick up that lemonade crate along with the 3 mushrooms outside the tunnel for Table Flipper.

If you have decent range with a bow, there's a great sniper's nest right above the tunnel, and you can cover most of the field outside by cycling through nearest NPC and tagging them with arrows. You'll get your drakelings, bears, and pumas there, as well as the occasional mushroom, and they respawn faster than you can kill the field.

Don't waste your time in the Ascent. Icefall is just ok. The overthere is better.

Icefall Glacier is decent, just over 50 cats on the SW wall. There are also goblins, kobolds, mammoths, wolves and polar bears all in the open area for other achievements while waiting on the snow leopards to respawn.
