Definitely PoEarth for this. There are 12-18 armadillos up around the main first area of the zone, and many of them spawn 3-4 miniature armadillos when they die. Got my 50 in one clear.

Lots of armadillos in Oggok. They are the pests that are exterminated in that town. Pathing sux though, at least for pet. Am very KOS there.
There is a little pond in the desert area of the zone that has about 5 armadillos around it. Spawn time is a little slow at about 30 minutes. They also wonder the zone as random spawns and I seemed to find more in the main forest area with all of the treants. Kill all roamers in this area while waiting for the ones around the pond to respawn. I got about 10 total per cycle.
