If you look on the page for PoG it states " There is no way to fix Tuna faction" But everyone swears by the muffin quest. Only problem i see is agro from guards, NOW most all people are KoS in freeport, has anyone got any ideas of how to go around this, invis drops the min.. you hand the first muffin in. Crazy thing to do, might have thought about moving quest NPC to a better location.

Have you tried the giants quest in so and no ro zones kill the giants 15 at a time or the named ones in ea ro zone and you get faction with freeport guards....its easy and reported to be the best faction fixer avail for guards
if you're looking to move freeport militia faction, try the orc scalp collecting quest in highpass. scalps are easy to get in and around crushbone. theupside, it also improves corrupt qeynos guard as well.

I am KoS to Pandos. I can not do the Druid Epic. Any Tasks out there? Anyone know how I can fix this? I even petitioned in game, but as always I recived no help from SONY. I just dont know if a fix is possible.

Have you ever thought about using Rogue goblin shroud? I recently hunted PoG with my beastlord killing her faction, and was able to turn in muffins to Pandos Flintside just by getting into a rogue shroud and using the skill sneak and handing in muffins from behind, i'm getting the faction messages and experience messages like normal. Just thought this might help you correct your faction prob some, GL with epic.
P.S. you can Buy muffins from Gern Tassel at loc -210, -375 in the new West Freeport and Pandos Flintside is at loc 100, -610.
*Update* finally took my Max KOS Beastlord and made her Max Ally with Faydarks Champions, Clerics of Tunare, and Soldiers of Tunare doing this faction quest, took exactly 4000 muffins turned in to get there and rougly 2 hrs or constant clicking but was able to fix most the dmg I did while playing in PoGrowth. =P

They must have nerfed faction earned in shroud since this post, because I did it today as a goblin rogue. Handed in 4000 muffins, maxed all the faction hits. When I removed the shroud and went to Felwithe, my factions DID NOT MOVE.

I'd like to quickly add that illusion potions sometimes help tremendously. Not sure what race pandos likes the most, but human, dwarven, or high elf would be a good guess. The potions are kinda expensive, but if there's no one to wolf form you, this might be the only other option.
The idea is, since wolf form or shrouds may be a kind of indifferent faction, some races may like their own kind much more than an indifferent/neutral creature - this is how I compensate for *really* bad deity / class faction.
That was how my ogre sk fixed his rivervale faction - halfling potions - then did the faction quests in the area.
Just my 2 cents.

Not sure if they nerfed shourd Faction, but reason you might still be kos in Felwithe after doing the muffin quest in Feeport is Felwithe npc's have different factions. The factions that i know of in the zone are: Anti-Mage, Merchants of Felwithe, Clerics of Tunare (in the cleric guild of course), Faydarks Champions, Keepers of the Art, King Tearis Thex. I don't know what race, class or diety you are but you might have had bad faction with one of the other factions you didn't raise by doing the muffin quest. But I will try to raise another KoS toon in Shroud form to see if it work or if it has been nerfed and will edit my findings, but the factions you get from muffins quest should allow you to enter Kelethin not Felwithe if you are an evil race/class/diety or just killed too many of the wrong mobs.
*EDIT* Went to Kelethin with my Bst and found out I'm Apprehensive to all the guards and merhcants and the warrior GM but KoS to Druid and Ranger GM's and dubious to their spell merchants. I then went into Felwithe and the Cleric GM and Pally GM were KoS as well but the mage, enc and wizzy GM's were apprehensive to me same with the merchants.

I can vouch from experience that factions incurred while shrouded to not affect your main char. I turned in close to 2K muffins to this guy shrouded as a rogue. Got to dubious while shrouded. I unshrouded and returned to check the faction and was at scowling still. Previous owner of this 66 Shammy took him on a PoG raid or 2... So Clerics of Tunare and Soldiers of Tunare are bottomed out. I managed to get Ally status with the Faydarks Champions and am gonna try to do the same with King Tearis Thex Faction in the hope that maybe I can offset the bad with a couple of good and maybe I'll be able to do the muffin quest then to fix the other 2. The list of mobs to fixt CoT faction is kinda short but is pretty much mostly named NPC's. Anyone have any idea how much of a faction adjustment is given by taking any of them out?

As a 51 druid ready to start my epic, I feared that Telin would ignore me. He gave me the standard "Fix your faction" message that I had been dreading.
For you see, I am KoS in freeport. As a Human Druid on the MAC server (where Hero Bracer hasn't been nerfed), I leveled from 37 to 50 doing Hero Bracer.
After reading all the posts and strategies, I went to see what I could do. I put on invis and slipped past the guards...
It didnt take long to find the inn. First building I found. It was my first time in freeport. Anyway, I go up stairs and see that he's green. I make sure I'm out of aggro range of everything else, and click off invis to find...
HE'S INDIFFERENT, while EVERYONE ELSE is KoS.
So I commence with the muffins... About half a backpack to Amiable, and I'm still going at 2 backpacks. Update later.
[UPDATE] It took exactly 2 and a half backpacks of muffins to go from Indifferent to Warmly, but I did it. I'm now gathering my guildies to go do the amulet turn in and fight the SK.

I just love when they say a Quest has been updated in the news but no info as to how , it just redirects you to the original link...Please someone go do the quest before I get my DE Chanter killed...lol

I gave him a muffin in every way possible and he returned it. If you try to give him more than 1 per trade slot you get the "You cannot give stacks of items to NPC's" message. And yes, giving him stacks of muffins just gets you the same message. so the most i could get out of this was that he will only accept 1 muffin, per trade slot (you get 4 trade slots), but he just returns it.
this leads me to believe that I need faction to turn these in too? Hes KoS to me, but i just pacify him and able to turn it, just to get it returned

In the Inn, upstairs standing in the hall outside Lady Shae's room. -192,-495
I did this quest to raise my faction to start my epic. Raised from indiferent to amilble (one lvl) and was able to start no prob. Took several hundred muffins to raise but remember that you can turn in 4 stacks at a time(80 muffins), so it don't take long.
A ranger's life is truely to solo these worlds.
If you are a halfling ranger then amiable is not high enough. You have to turn in about 900 muffins and get up to Ally faction so you can start the quest. I just tried it with amiable faction and was not able to get the quest.
Sorry that is no longer how quest handins work. Handing in a stack is treated the exact same way as handing in 1 is. The most muffin's you can hand in at one time and get a faction up for each is 4. Otherwise you've wasted items.
Just want to let the iskar monks know that phantom Zephyr also works. If he says he is busy use that discipline on him then turn them in.

I am a wood elf ranger (tunare) and you must be 46 and must have given Pandos muffins untell it says Faction cannot get any better. Now Telin will give ya the Note in BW for ranger quest

65 bst kos after having hleped kill tunare in PoG. while in hate i dropped a seoc which is wanted to mq with my ranger for his epic. obviously rangers arent mad keen on me so i looked into doing the muffin quest.
its been mentioned that you can use harmony or if a sneak class you can sneak behind and have someone else cast invis on you before the turn in each and every time etc.
i opted for the invis option but i thought of a better way of doing it than that. i have two accounts so on the other account i quickly levelled a bard to 19 for invis song (thank you paludal caverns). if you dont have a 2nd account ask a guild bard or something when they are next going out to just give you a hand.
basically its simple. group with the bard. start sneaking. have the bard play invis song. stand behind pandos and turn in muffins to your hearts content. doing it this way invis doesnt drop as it keeps being refreshed so no need to recast it everytime for each individual trade.
oh well back to handing in muffins. 24 stacks and still kos :) on the bright side with this method its only taken me 30 mins to do the 24 stacks so far.
for classes without sneak.............bleh dunno sorry :)

My wizard was super-KOS from lots and lots of POG raids. I con'd KOS (scowls) to Pandos. Improved Invis didnt work, as expected. I was told that turning muffins in to a charmed NPC wont give you the faction, so I didnt try that.
Harmony (Low level Druid one) seemed like it would work, he didnt attack me, but after the I did the trade, he said "I will do nothing to help someone like you". Pshaw.
Killed orcs for hours in Crushbone, got bored with that, plus there were people actually XP'n there, so i tried to find a diff way.

I, for some reason, must do this quest so darkforest will give me the quest. I am a wood elf ranger at ally faction with the muffin eating dwarf, to start with, and indiferent to darkforest. Is there any specific reason why I must raise these factions even though I am amible to clerics and paladins, just tired of handing in muffins. I am 30 stacks in at single hand ins and still not ally with pallies, king or clerics. Any insight would be grand!

A friend suggested that I go to Greater Faydark and/or Crushbone and kill orcs, and I did.
After about 200 of the blue buggers (I also turned their scalps in to Captain Ashlan in Highpass Hold, and their belts in to the Dwarf in Kaladim South), I conned amiable to Telin, and he gave me my epic quest. Took about 3 hours, total.

The quest has been changed so that 1 muffin = 1 set of faction hits. Give him 4 muffins unstacked, and you will get 4 faction hits.

Right.. At one time you could turn in stacks (up to 4 items per stack) and get uber factions, etc. But now when you stack any item, it only counts that item as one..... Either way..atleast you can turn in 4 unstacked muffins for 4 faction hits.
Aye, I tried this just for fun to see how many muffins I needed to turn in to rais my faction. I was already amiably. I turned in like five stacks in, handed in 4 at a time, and only went one up to kindly. Don't get any exp either at lvl 22.

I am a Troll SK level 52 and it looks like I can't do this alone. I can hide so if the NPC does not immediately attack me I can hand in an item, hide, con iddif, click and that will work. I tried FD on this guy and he gave a I'm busy(or something like that) message. Even if I could sneak he stands with his back to a wall so I'd have to pull him out first. Looks like I'll have to try the Druid harmony method posted here.

You have two choices here. Either get a wolf form which will at least nullify the faction you have from being a troll, but not from being an SK; OR you could get an enchanter to charm Pandos so you could do the handin. Either way, it's probably easiest if you pull the little guy to a safe area before you start.

the only way you could do it is if you FD behind him, then sneak, and then stand up and you can be indiff and start handing, thats how i always do it on my ikky monk, who is max or ally to every good city

I took my High Elf cleric to the Planes of Growth when it first came out with the now-predictable result of becoming KoS in my home town of Felwithe. Once I became KoS, I figured what the hey, and grouped there enough to become max KoS to Clerics of Tunare, Faydark's Champions, Soldiers of Tunare and Servants of Tunare.
I have successfully raised my Clerics of Tunare faction from max KoS to amiable. It took ages but it can be done. Here's how:
Go to Lesser Faydark and find the Dark Elf camp on the zone wall. Kill the Priestess (light blue to a 65) and the two Teir'Dal Prophets (green to a 65) -- only those three in that camp will raise your Clerics of Tunare faction. Kill the others if you want to or are bored, I sure did often enough. Oh and do keep your eyes open for the Pained Unicorn in LFay, since you are now KoS to that as well (pesky Soldiers of Tunare faction).
Allakhazam's lists one other mob in the game you can kill to raise Clerics of Tunare faction, but I never bothered with her since she is in Najena and is only one mob.
The DEs take about an hour to repop, so in the meantime, run to Crushbone and assist all the low levels killing there, so you can raise your Champions of Faydark faction. This will take a long time since they are all so low level but hey, there's lots of them and they just keep coming.
I have worked on this for about 2 months, killing the DEs, killing or PL-ing in Crushbone. Sunday I got to indifferent with my cleric guildmaster, so now I am doing the bone quest as well as still killing the DEs.

BTW, Allakhazam's is incorrect, killing the Arborean Sproutings does not increase your Soldiers of Tunare faction, in fact you get no faction hit of any kind.
I will say to those of you who howl that it serves us right for messing up our faction in PoG that as far as I know, this is the ONLY set of factions impossible to fix -- I can never ever repair my Servants of Tunare faction. I am unaware of any other faction situation like that in the game. And we sure didn't know that when Velious first came out.

I have successfully raised my Clerics of Tunare faction from max KoS to amiable. It took ages but it can be done. Here's how:
Go to Lesser Faydark and find the Dark Elf camp on the zone wall. Kill the Priestess (light blue to a 65) and the two Teir'Dal Prophets (green to a 65) -- only those three in that camp will raise your Clerics of Tunare faction. Kill the others if you want to or are bored, I sure did often enough. Oh and do keep your eyes open for the Pained Unicorn in LFay, since you are now KoS to that as well (pesky Soldiers of Tunare faction).
Allakhazam's lists one other mob in the game you can kill to raise Clerics of Tunare faction, but I never bothered with her since she is in Najena and is only one mob.
The DEs take about an hour to repop, so in the meantime, run to Crushbone and assist all the low levels killing there, so you can raise your Champions of Faydark faction. This will take a long time since they are all so low level but hey, there's lots of them and they just keep coming.
I have worked on this for about 2 months, killing the DEs, killing or PL-ing in Crushbone. Sunday I got to indifferent with my cleric guildmaster, so now I am doing the bone quest as well as still killing the DEs.

Though no one has any reason to believe me over anyone else posting here, this is how I just successfully went from KOS to dubious (I'll finish getting to warm or ally tomorrow):
Somehow some spawns of Pandos can see invisible. This, I believe, is the cause of so much consternation. He sometimes spawns as the seeing invisible version, or gains that ability from an NPC caster, or something. What, naturally, you want is the non-see invisible version. Since, very likely, your faction is already bottomed out, go ahead and whack the one who sees through your invisibility (or get a handy evil friend to do it). Wait for the respawn (doesn't take long), and see if this one sees invisible, too. If so, whack him again. We managed a non-see invisible version on the first kill, so I am not sure if he is the default type, with the see invisible coming later, or if he can spawn with that ability. Go invisible and con him, if you're indifferent, he's not seeing invisible, get behind him, then sneak, then click off your invisibility and start to load him up with muffins. It took me about 100 stacks to get from bottom-out KoS to Dubious, maybe more.

You might want to point out that killing those orcs will quickly drive one to KoS with dark elf warriors.
Not that goodly races have to worry about it, but to warn those dark races trying to faction up with high elves.. it's a bad route. ;)

There's a bug that's been around for years. When you charm a mob and then let the charm go, that mob now sees invisible. It wont be listed on thier buffs list but from then on till you kill them, that particular npc can see invis. Responsible charmers kill off their old pets , but this is a faction mob so thats not so simple. But this is why he sometimes sees and sometimes doesnt. When he does, someone was there before you trying charm.

Not so much that they see invis as it were,
but they now have their hate fixed on you so you can not hide
until hate is removed by atoning, evading/fading or zoning.
And no sense killing a faction giving mob by a faction seeking player,
get the mob to reset so you don't mess up any other factions.

Makes perfect sense to me. Again, the statement holds true, since your faction is already rock-bottom, go ahead and whack the pre-charmed version and get you a fresh one to play with.

I seriously need some answers. I messed up my faction on a raid at PoG and I thought it would be way easier to get it back up. Someone please give me a straight answer. I am KoS to Pandos and now it doesn't matter what I do, nothing listed below has worked. Now what. I have to get the faction back up to continue my epic. I cleared Crushbone like 4 times to get my faction up with the Faydark Champions. And it did go up but I am still kos to Soldiers of Tunare and Clerics of Tunare. If I keep killing orcs will it get me up enough to feed pandos. Hit me back.

So I'm handing in my muffins, trying to fix my Tunare faction, and after about 2hrs of handing in with no problems... Jyle Windshot jumps out of a room and starts beating on me. Anyone else have this problem? Kind of hard to keep them both Harmony'd.

This quest says you gain xp, but my bar didn't move a bit. But, it doesn't matter. It is such easy faction, it isn't even funny. You can find unlimited supplies for muffins and they are cheap. Plus, if you don't want to do the hogcaller's quest, you can just keep stuffing the dwarf with muffins and rack up the faction.

I was KOS to Pandos and everyone involving epic. But, I was able to Invis, go behind Pandos, hit sneak, unclick invis, and did trade with no prolems. Here's my question, I here all this about 4 stacks of 4 you give pandos. Well, I gave him 4 stacks of 4, then 4 individual muffins (1 in each trade box) and still gave me same amount of faction. So why the 4 stacks of 4?? Seems to me you're just wasting money on the same amount of faction. But thats me. Just wondering.....

Because you used to be able to get credit for FOUR faction adjustments for giving Pandos four stacks of four muffins each, and get the faction work done much faster. After a patch not long ago, that was nerfed and now unstacked or stacked muffins (bone chips, orc scalps, etc.) are the same -- one faction hit per four muffin-filled slots in the trade window, whether those slots hold one muffin or an entire stack of 20 muffins.
The end result is the same, but it takes a little longer is all, and for those of us who are KOS to the turn-in NPC or nearby NPCs, that just makes it a little less convenient than it once was.

Seems they may have changed it yet again. I did this the day before yesterday. I was giving them to him 4 at a time unstacked and getting 1 faction hit. A couple other peaople showed up and I saw them getting 4 hits at a time. I gave him a stack of 4 and got a faction hit. So I did 4 stacks of 4 and got 4 hits. Earlier in the day I had tried 1 stack of 4 bone chips in Felwithe and got no faction, turned in 3 more chips unstacked and got a faction hit. Point being, they changed it back for the muffins but probably not any other quests.

Took me 53 stacks of muffins to go from Indifferent to Ally on my halfling ranger. After 64 stacks, ally was still not maxed.

Took me 42 stacks to go from amiable to kindly on a human druid. My faction is good enough to start epic, just need to get 46 now.
