This is a shared task (1-6 players) that begins with Kiltar in Kael Drakkel: The King's Madness. He is found at the zone-in (-15, -615).

You say, 'Hail, Kiltar'

Kiltar says 'Greetings, little thing. You have entered into the great city of Kael Drakkel, home of the Kromzek as well as a few of my kind, the Kromrif. If you are to walk among my people as a peer, you must [prove yourself] as a friend, not a foe.'

You say, 'Prove myself?'

Kiltar says 'Strange happenings are afoot and if you could help me [investigate], I would be most thankful. I have been ordered by King Tormax himself not to leave my post, or else I would look into these matters myself.'

You say, 'I will investigate'

Kiltar says 'Though the relationship between the Kromzek and Kromrif is not without tension at times, we have worked together to secure a home for ourselves. Our chief concern has been the coldain, but lately something strange and far more [sinister] is threatening our city.'

You have been assigned the task 'Madness Reigns'.

Kael Drakkel is in the midst of a spreading madness. Kiltar has asked you to speak with some of his friends so you can perhaps learn more about what is going on within the city.

You say, 'Something sinister?'

Kiltar says 'Our king has gone mad and the majority of our citizens are hallucinating, claiming they see visions of terrible creatures. The whole city is on the brink of a civil war. My own friends have even fallen victim to this mysterious plague. Why I haven't fallen victim to this same madness, I do not know. I would ask that you visit some of my friends and try to learn more about what is [going on].'

You say, 'What's going on?'

Kiltar says 'If the coldain are behind this, they will surely pay with their lives. I need to have proof however before anything further can be done.'

Note: The task locks upon the first hail.

Speak with Egarik 0/1 (Kael Drakkel)

Egarik is found at /location -600, 1200, -115 (near the entrance to Iceshard Manor in the southern part of the zone).

You say, 'Hail, Egarik'

Egarik says 'The coldain are attacking! I don't know how they infiltrated our city, but they have! Kill any coldain you see and defend the city!'

Kill some Penumbral Coldain or Umbral Coldain 0/1 (Kael Drakkel)

Speak with Bjoskhua Blackfist 0/1 (Kael Drakkel)

Bjoskhua Blackfist is found at /location -1060, 1000, -125 (the southern-most room of Iceshard Manor in the southern part of the zone).

You say, 'Hail, Bjoskhua Blackfist'

Bjoskhua Blackfist says 'I told the king this would happen but he wouldn't listen to me! The kedge have snuck into the city's long-forgotten waterways! I took one of the slimy bastards out just yesterday! They are a threat to our very existence! You must destroy as many of them as you can!'

Kill some Extinct Kedge 0/1 (Kael Drakkel)

These can be found in the water next to the ice pit that's found just north of the throne area (southern part of the zone).

Speak with Nojas Blackfist 0/1 (Kael Drakkel)

Nojas is found at /location -630, 1045, -125 (the northern room of Iceshard Manor; due north of the previous hail update).

You say, 'Hail, Nojas Blackfist'

Nojas Blackfist says 'Revolting creatures! Fey have somehow gotten past our slacking guards and have entered the city! This invasion must be stopped! Kill any Fey you come across for the glory of Kael Drakkel!'

Kill some Fey Deleriums or Fey Uniters 0/1 (Kael Drakkel)

Speak with Yngvie 0/1 (Kael Drakkel)

Yngvie is found at /location 100, 1200, -135. If coming from the Eastern Wastes, pass through the first archway, keep going, pass through the second archway, and hang an immediate right (north). He is outside one of the buildings in this area.

You say, 'Hail, Yngvie'

Yngvie says 'Have you seen them? The mephits! They're everywhere! You must destroy them before they infiltrate the king's chambers!'

Kill some Daemonic Lorespawns 0/1 (Kael Drakkel)

Speak with Kiltar 0/1 (Kael Drakkel)

Kill Jainar 0/1 (Kael Drakkel)

Jainar is found at /location 120, 900, -135 (just east of Yngvie's location).

Loot Jainar's Sword 0/1 (Kael Drakkel)

Give Jainar's Sword to Kiltar 0/1 (Kael Drakkel)

Speak with Kiltar 0/1 (Kael Drakkel)
