This quest is associated with the Veil of Alaris achievement God Learner.
You must have an Alaran skill level of 100 before the stones will acknowledge you. All you need to do to complete this is to hail nine sentry stones in different VOA zones, in this order: 1. Sepulcher of Order: a worn sentry stone (180, -5, -1 -- fountain area at the entrance) 2. Windsong Sanctuary: a battered sentry stone (1140, -460, 28 -- a small cliffside southeast of the amphitheater) 3. Pillars of Alra: a worn sentry stone (-310, 975, 411 -- outside of the nature pillar) 4. Erillion, City of Bronze: a sentry stone (1275, -2090, 66 -- northeastern part of the zone) (note: this step is mandatory, even though this stone is not technically part of the achievement) 5. Resplendent Temple: a sentry stone (1810, -340, 409 -- top of the east tower among the soiled essences) 6. Sarith, City of Tides: a battered sentry stone (-665, -635, -3 -- the middle dock) 7. Beasts' Domain: a sentry stone (-6540, 1390, -1 -- along the south-central zone boundary) 8. Valley of Lunanyn: a worn sentry stone (-435, 935, 4 -- southwestern part of the zone, on the hill) 9. Argath, Bastion of Illdaera: a battered sentry stone (-380, -120, 13 -- southern boundary of the "crown" / top level, overlooking the rest of the zone) These hails must be done in the order listed above: You say, 'Hail, a worn sentry stone' We wish you to have this. We wish to be heard. You receive "A Sentry Shard of _____" which can be right-clicked to read all sorts of lore surrounding Veil of Alaris. If you hail out of order, all you will see is this: You say, 'Hail, a worn sentry stone' There is no response from the stone. There is no known reward for this quest, other than the lore involved (also of note is that the shards are placeable in houses and guild halls). I didn't play in this expansion until the end portion of it. Which in the above steps in the quest text has the incorrect information?

Did task today was bored all updates worked fine noticed at some spots was more then one stone to hail just have to hail correct one and didnt get anything toward reward as some said get evolve xp to tear and nothing

I just did the hails in the order listed above. First in Sep, then in Wind Song.
When I hailed the pillars stone, it said ..... No response. WTF? Broken quest?

Same with me. First and second hails fine, Pillars gives the no response reply.
I was able to get the update. There actually 2 pillars with the same name in the zone (another stupid mistake by devs, or maybe intentional just to f*ck with people) Make sure you hail the one at the location stated above in the task.
I noticed that my Evolving item from Pillars gained 2 lvls after finishing the hails.
My tear started at level 10 and 4% in. when I was done with the achievement, it was level 10 and 4% in. no discernable change for me.

No xp gain on the tear for either of my characters upon completing the achievement and reading all the runes. Both stayed at level 9, 74% xp as they had been before I started it.
in other words the great radiant is full of ****.
This was done using my level 95 wizard with 7k aa (as if that makes any difference).

While I agree that a sentry stone in Erillion, City of Bronze responds in kind with the other sentry stones with the phrase "We wish you to have this. We wish to be heard" and gives you A Sentry Shard.
The City of Bronze Sentry Stone is not part of the achievement for it gives you A Sentry Shard of Three. Also there are 8 shards to get and you have 9 zones listed.

If you do not hail the stone in CoB the stone in RT won't give you a shard so it's kind of like a hidden step.
