Okay, if this exists and the only way of getting it is by killing the guild masters (the ones inside.. ex puab cloask) then it is impossible. My friend tried hitting puab, he's a lvl 49 monk, and he got slaughtered, he only got off 3 FDs, and had no way out, because the second you get up from fd they come after you again... Puab Cloask and the guy that gives out the white/yellow sashes both PUNCH for OVER 300 dmg- the top that we saw was 331, but they never hit under 303. So, anyone that says that they killed the guild master to get one of these is lying becuase unless you have a large group of uber people, chances are that your not going to be able to even scratch him, and even that is doubtful because the stats are not worth the effort.

If you read the posts, they said that the guild master they killed was OUTSIDE the guild hall, not inside. . .

you dont need this sash, you need the purple headband from the qeynos monk guild...

I have heard rumors of the speech given by the guild master refers to Befallen, and that some item on the bottom floor is what your after. I cannot verify it for myself as ive not reached the lvl to acquire this sash yet. If i find anything out ill post again

The part you are refering to is for the red sash you need a piece out a befallen and out of Najena for the red sash

I have the Purple Sash, but it came from looting a Monk Master outside the Ashen Order guild hall. Based on the level of the monks there, the toughest one outside dropped the higher level (purple) sash. The other monks con lower and dropped lower level sashes. The monk masters inside con higher, and I strongly suspect they will drop the blue or black sash. I know of no thread to get the higher level (purple, blue or black) sashes through questing. I am told that the faction did not go down appreciably by killing the monk masters.

This information makes any quest for the Purple Sash pretty much useless. Why endure a lengthy and difficult quest when you can just bump off the master and claim your prize. Better yet, hire the services of another to do your dirty work and avoid the possible faction hit. There are plenty who have miserable faction with the Ashen Order anyway. Any Dark Elf Wizards out there looking for a bit of revenge? Sounds like the monk guild house is ripe for an organized hunter killer team.
