Gren Frikniller is a bodyguard for the rogue guildmaster Elisi Nasin in East Freeport. Ask him about his sister Falia (they share the same surname):

    You say, 'Who is Falia?'

Gren Frikniller says 'Ah, my sister Falia has traveled here all the way from Rivervale. I hear that she's been staying up in North Freeport, but I haven't had a chance to find her yet. If you get some spare time, could you take this letter to her for me? Thanks, _____, you're really not so bad after all.'

You receive Letter to Falia. Take the letter to Falia Frikniller in West Freeport. Note she is on Merchants of Rivervale faction and may not deal with you if your faction is too low (indifferent works):

    You say, 'Hail, Falia Frikniller'

Falia Frikniller says 'Aye, hello there, friend! How are ye on this fine day? A beautiful day to be alive, I must say! Anyway, I just got into Freeport last month. Wow, is this city big! Way bigger than humble little Rivervale. That's where I'm from. I'm working on setting up my own little business here, Falia's Foot Combs and Footwear, it'll be called. But, I don't have anything to sell yet, so check back in a couple of weeks. Safe travels to ye, friend.'

    Hand her the letter:

Falia Frikniller says 'Heh, that good for nothing fool. I've been here for over a month already, and I haven't seen him yet. Bah, anyway, could you take this back to him for me? It was our grandfather's lucky necklace. He passed it down to our father, and now onto my brother. Knowing that little worm, Grenny, he'll probably trade it for a mug of ale. Oh well, thanks for delivering the letter, friend. Good day to you, and safe travels.'

    You gain experience!!

You receive a Broken Heirloom Necklace in return, which you can take to Gren:

Gren Frikniller says 'What's this? Oh, ol' Grandpa Frikniller's lucky necklace, huh? I'll bet this broken piece of junk won't even get me a sip of ale up at the bar. And lucky? How lucky could this thing be? Poor gramps was lonely and copperless his whole life. Bah!! Oh, well. Here's some coin for your efforts, thanks, _____'

The people in the bar change from day time to night time. You have to pay attetion to who is there as jsut about anyone will find a KOS person in that room at the wrong time. And the levels of these NPC's is all over the place.

Walk in slowly and targe and con them one at a time (including the bar tender) before you go in. If the wrong people are there wait till morning (or evening).

I tried to do this quest, but when I found Glen there was a nasty Dark Elf named Savarixsa Zexus in the same room, and a second or two later I was reading LOADING, PLEASE WAIT.... A friendly wiz invissed me for the corpse run, although Ms. Zexus had moved on. The moral of this story is that there are very unpleasant things beneath East Freeport, and almost anyone can be KoS to the wrong one.

    Why not fix it?

Has anyone tried giving the broken heirloom to a gnome with the tinker skill? perhaps it could be fixed. If so, maybe the reward would be greater.

Hmmm maybe the pottery skill could fix it. This might be worth looking into ... if I ever get more time that is.
    Faction run around

I got tired of being apprehensive to the militia and found this quest and the note for Janam and the note for Rebby. This is what I did.

First I found Falia in NFP and bound myself there and ran back to EFP and cast Camo (not liked by the evil guildmasters in the tunnels). Then I ran past the guildmasters and hugged the righthand wall till I found Harkin. Now at first I gave his guard the ale but later I skiped that part and just told harkin "What Message" and got his note for Janam. through the door and asked Gren "Who is your sister?", got his note. And out the door and up the ramp, through the door got Nestral's note "I can run to janam and rebby's.". Now gate to Falia, give her the note and get the artifact, run to zone with WFP, run to janam and rebby's at the theater of tranquility. Swap both notes with the proper guy and run to zone with EFP. back to the tunnels, give the returning objects and repeat.

I'm up to indiferent now and will continue until they like me.
    Very Helpful quest......

Ok, if you're planning to do Testament of Vanear quest or Qeynos Investigator Badge quest
or you just like to hang around Qeynos (I do) let me tell you that this quest is very important. Since i did Testament quest which involved killing Dyllan (gave me big reductions in factions with corrupt guards, circle of unseen hands etc). I was about to go to Highhold and kills gnolls endlessly but then I came across this quest which is a hundred times easier to do and much safer since ) I suggest you do this quest after u do Testament quest in order to get yur factions back up easily. Since i plan on doing investigator badge quest in Qeynos which also requires me to kill another corrupt guard I know I'm heading back to freeport to do this quest a couple of times again. Hope this suggestion helps. Plus if you're a druid you know how much a lot of people in Qeynos resent the fact that your a treehugger =). This quest will certainly help not to mention keep yur good factions the same.

Hmmm. Ok. Quite obvious. That guy is threatening ... what faction is he on. I have to raise that faction first to be able to get the quest, so that I may raise my East and West Freeport faction.

/sigh - Does this never have an ending.

One question: How would you discover this quest? Talking to him and his sister, I could not get either one to volunteer that there was a relative around.

So, what would lead you to ask about his sister?

I found this quest out of chance when I noticed that the 2 had the same last name and asked Gren who Falia was.
