This task is the third in a series of three; a shared task (1-6 players) that starts with Sentry Stone of Illdaera in Sepulcher West (located at about 895, 1085, 8 -- in one of the large rooms in the north-central part of the zone).

Pre-requisites for requesting the task:
- Completed "The Fracturing of Order"
- Completed "Crafting the Triumvirate's Downfall"
- 88 Skill Level in Alaran

You say, 'Hail, Sentry Stone of Illdaera'

The sentry stone speaks to you, again in a warm, commanding voice. 'We are nearly prepared, thanks to your efforts with the [blind dreamers]. Soon the thel ereth ril will fall. But before the statues can be created, you must find pieces of our essences, culled from our [burial sites].'

You say, 'What burial sites?'

Sentry Stone of Illdaera says 'Our bodies are bereft of life, not [power]. My body bores into the mountain of Argath, spewing endless steel. Lunanyn's hair wriggles through the soft ground of alis valley and springs up verdant life. Kolos's strength seeps into every crevice and root in alis domain, oozing from the sap of trees. Even though we are unseen, we are everywhere.'

You say, 'What power?'

Sentry Stone of Illdaera says 'And our power enters living beings. Some have grown strong. They contain within them essences or pieces of our bodies that we have lost. We need those pieces. The beings will not be easily defeated, but it must be done. You will [do] this, will you not?'

You say, 'We will do this'

Sentry Stone of Illdaera says 'In Argath I watched as one Argathian grew to mythical stature in prowess of blade and battle. Al began as a worker in the forge, crafting weapons. Enamored with the quality of my steel, al began saving the small steel shavings and slivers left over after days of forging. At night, al would consume the slivers. Soon, al became astonishingly skilled with a blade, and al was promoted into the ranks of the [champions].'

You have been assigned the task 'Resurrecting the Gods'.

You receive 3x "Combined Alsa Thel Octet".

You say, 'Champions?'

Sentry Stone of Illdaera says 'Still al visited the forge at night, and secretly consumed more steel. Then al became a legend, besting the most renowned fighters in Argath. But alis trips to the forge became more frequent. Then al did not show up for duty. Troopwielders searched for ali but could not find ali. I know al still lives. Find ali and recover my essence. You should also speak to Lunanyn and Kolos, for they will know where to find their own essences.'

Illdaera, Lunanyn, and Kolos have turned against the Triumvirate. Illdaera has a plan to breach the magical barrier around Sepulcher that is preventing the Norrathian gods from entering. In order to carry out the plan, you will need to construct temporary bodies for the spirits of the Alaran gods to inhabit.

You must discover where to find pieces of each god's essence. Speak first to Lunanyn.

The essences reside in the Transcendent Steel, Everliving Growth, and the Ancient Well of Strength.



Speak with the Sentry Stone of Lunanyn 0/1 (Sepulcher East)

You say, 'Hail, Sentry Stone of Lunanyn'

Sentry Stone of Lunanyn speaks softly. 'We are nearing that time? Yes, surely you will need a piece of my essence, but I hate to see any of my creatures harmed for my own sake. If it must be done, I will tell you of the Everliving Growth.

Sentry Stone of Lunanyn says 'Hundreds of years ago, a farmer planted a small tree near my burial site. The tree was stunted and sickly; the farmer thought my shrine would nurture the plant. Al was right. I took pity on the tree and let my essence reach its roots. It grew strong and began to flourish.'

Sentry Stone of Lunanyn says 'Years passed, and the tree grew larger and larger. Generations after generations marveled at its height and lustrous leaves. It was said that the tree had always lived and will go on living indefinitely. I wished it would be so, for I loved this creature whom I saved.'

Sentry Stone of Lunanyn says 'As it drank in more of my essence, it became more independent. It began to walk about, shifting its position to bask in the sunlight. Some farmers would remark that it had moved. Others said that was impossible, that it did not move about or care whether it was warm or cold, in the shade or in the sun. I knew the truth. Must it die? Is there no other way? Go now, before I change my mind...'

Speak with the Sentry Stone of Kolos 0/1 (Sepulcher East)

You say, 'Hail, Sentry Stone of Kolos'

Sentry Stone of Kolos says 'Kolos will again stride the land! You be not weak long, for Kolos to you will give strength in plenty if you do this. Find Kolos's essence. It be very simple. The flying folk of scale and wing descended before the Veil. Oseka with much strength drove them off. But Veil gone now, and scaled wings are back.'

Sentry Stone of Kolos says 'One landed at burial mound of Kolos, bit off the head of strongest ape. The scaled wing lapped at the sap of Kolos's favorite tree, drinking Kolos's essence. Then scaled wing stomped around Kolos's mound, biting and crunching all challengers.'

Sentry Stone of Kolos says 'Scaled wing very strong. Stronger maybe than you. Do you want bones snapped?'

Sentry Stone of Kolos says 'Kolos think maybe scaled wing worthy of Kolos's power. But scaled wing is filthy killer that hates Alarans. The strong should survive, but Alarans should always be strongest. Kill the scaled wing! Bring Kolos's essence!'

This opens up the next four parts of the task (involving the deaths of the Transcendent Steel, Everliving Growth, Ancient Well of Strength, and the thel ereth ril). They can be done in any order.



Kill 1 Transcendent Steel 0/1 (Argath)

This mob is found near Attendant Shirian (about 175, -325, -400) in the forge of Argath. It is not social with any other mobs in the zone and has no leash range from its spawn point.

It hits for a max ~17,000 and casts the spells "Perfected Blades" and "Steel Against Magic":

Perfected Blades: Single Target, Corruption (-25)
1: Summon Pets: SOOProgQ3SwordAdd x 5 for 18 sec
2: Negate Feign Death Effect
3: Negate Fade Effect

This mob is found near Solusek Ro (confirmed locations: 2700, -765 / 2900, -530). It is not social with any other mobs in the zone and has no leash range from its spawn point.

It hits for a max ~17,000; casts "Fertile Sap"; and spawns at least one add called "a fertile sprout" (unknown if health-based or time-based).

This mob is found on the king's hill at around -2700, 1050 or -3200, 780.

It hits for a max ~17,000 and casts "Shedding Scales" and "Draw of the Ancient":

Draw of the Ancient: Single Target, Corruption (-25)
1: Slow Push (-250)
2: Decrease Hitpoints by 13000 per tick

Shedding Scales: Single Target, Corruption (-25) (hits all targets on hate list)
1: Decrease Hitpoints by 3400 per tick
6: Decrease Attack Speed by 50%
7: Increase All Skills Damage Modifier by 10%
8: 10% Chance to trigger: Dragon Press (10% Feign Death)

As the dragon's health lowers, you'll see these emotes:

Ancient Well of Strength says, in Dragon, 'Do you so despise the dragon kin that you would side with the creatures of this continent? It is they who deserve destruction. We owned this land before they arrived. They took it from us and hid it from our sight. They stole what was ours, and when we confronted their treachery, they slew my brethren and crippled my wing.'

Ancient Well of Strength says, in Dragon, 'It took centuries to heal. I swore that if I ever found this continent again, I would have my revenge. Every year I have flown about the world, searching. This year I flew with my hatchling, thinking we would never find it. But here it was. We landed and were soon beset by the land's filthy inhabitants. My hatchling was beaten and taken from me. And still you defend them? I will devour you!'

Ancient Well of Strength says, in Dragon, 'The murderers...What have they done with my little one? If I could live another day, I would rend to pieces every last one of them! None on this continent would be spared! But no, I will die at the hands of a _____, If you see my hatchling, tell him that his sire died with honor, in battle!'

Kill 1 thel ereth ril 0/1 (ALL)

Task Window Says: You will need to find and kill a thel ereth ril in order to find the Essence of Pure Alsa Thel. To do this, you will need the Rod of Alsa Thel.

Use the Rod (from a prior Sepulcher partisan task) on a thel ereth ril:

You begin casting Rod of Alsa Thel.

Your Rod of Alsa Thel begins to glow.

The surge of power from the Rod of Alsa Thel strips away the protection of the thel ereth ril.

This causes the thel ereth ril to aggro. It hits for a max ~18,000 and casts "Insidious Infusion" on people, making "Splash of Thel" hit for much greater than its base amount:

1: Increase Incoming Spell Damage by 80%
2: Limit: Resist (Unknown 9 allowed)
3: Increase corruption counter by 30

Splash of Thel: PB AE 130', (-25)

It drops three per kill.



Create 1 Lifeless Statue of Illdaera using tradeskills 0/1 (ALL)

Create 1 Lifeless Statue of Lunanyn using tradeskills 0/1 (ALL)

Create 1 Lifeless Statue of Kolos using tradeskills 0/1 (ALL)

Task Window Says: Now that you have all the needed ingredients, use the pottery tradeskill to craft the statues that can house the gods' spirits.

You'll need to do three combines in any kiln (no-fail): 1x "Combined Alsa Thel Octet" + 1x "Essence of Purified Alsa Thel" + 1 drop from one of the first three nameds in the task.

These combines produce:
- Lifeless Statue of Illdaera
- Lifeless Statue of Lunanyn
- Lifeless Statue of Kolos



Bring the statue to Illdaera's relic 0/1 (Sepulcher West)

Task Window Says: Illdaera can now inhabit the statue you created.

Someone (doesn't have to be who's in possession of the Lifeless Statue of Illdaera) needs to make their way to the Relic of Illdaera in the back section of the Temple of Steel (west of the Sentry Stone of Illdaera's location). There are many see-invis mobs in the way, as well as two see-invis thelasas guarding the relic.

Upon approaching the relic:

Our plan is nearly finished. ' Illdaera opens and closes the fist of their statue. 'I can see why Ryken desired power so quickly. It is amazing to inhabit once again a physical body, as constrictive as this statue might be. If it were not for the threat of the Alsa Ril's oppression, I might not have objected as strongly to Ryken's proposals.

I had no desire to kill your god, but I must admit it is a sound strategy. Annihilating such a powerful being instills fear in the hearts of the other gods, gives us power, and places any potential invaders on the defensive. And if, as a result, we were to regain our physical forms, none could assail us.

But perhaps my followers now influence me more than I influence them. These long years of slumber have been rather peaceful with no battles to fight. I would not mind regaining my body -- which Ryken intends to do for all of us, if only to strengthen the Alsa Ril -- but I would almost wish my cunning be used for tactics in the battle of diplomacy, rather than war. Do you find that strange? So do I. But come, we must give Lunanyn alis statue.

Bring the statue to Lunanyn's relic 0/1 (Sepulcher East)

Task Window Says: Lunanyn can now inhabit a statue and join Illdaera.

Do the same for the Relic of Lunanyn in Sepulcher East. Upon approaching the relic:

Lunanyn lets out a stony sigh as they enter the statue. 'My limbs move, and I can breathe the air. This means you did it. That tree...it was my oldest friend in this land...'

Illdaera reaches their hand to Lunanyn's granite cheek and wipes away a tear that could not form. They look at each other for a moment, changed as they are from the faces they once knew. Illdaera speaks. 'Everything remains but for a time. Come, we must find Kolos while there is still a chance to save what we have.'

Lunanyn turns to follow Illdaera, averting their eyes from yours.

Bring the statue to Kolos's relic 0/1 (Sepulcher East)

Task Window Says: Kolos will be the last to enter a statue.

Do the same for the Relic of Kolos:

The statue of Kolos lurches to life, turns on its heel, and throws a punch. Illdaera catches it and looks at Kolos as sternly as a statue can. 'Kolos just testing alis new body! It fantastic! Not as good as Kolos's old body, though. Kolos want that one back.'

Lunanyn speaks to Kolos. 'Are you ready to follow the plan? You know you might not be able to keep that body for long.'

Kolos hangs their head. 'That fine. Maybe Kolos can get old body soon. Or Kolos just take Ryken's!' Illdaera motions toward the inner sanctum of the sepulcher. 'Whatever happens, it is time. The new gods we bring to this place may destroy us, or they may save us. Our days may appear to be at an end, but let us not fool ourselves: they ended long ago, when we were buried beneath this earth. What comes henceforth is for our people, not for us.



Take the statues of the gods to the pools of alsa thel 0/1 (Sepulcher of Order)

Task Window Says: Accompany the gods to the three pools of the Triumvirate's blood. There, Illdaera, Lunanyn, and Kolos will use their bodies and spirits to disrupt the Triumvirate's power and lower the barrier around Sepulcher. Activate the statues at the bottom ramp of the middle pool.

This step takes place in the center of the Sepulcher of Order -- the south-central part of the alsa pool area. While not necessary for spawning the final mobs, you'll probably want to clear the area of mobs. Once ready for this step, right-click one of your Lifeless Statues.

The zone shakes and you'll see Constructs of Lunanyn, Kolos, and Illdaera spawn and approach the three pools. Shortly after this, three mobs (Herald of Galvos, Herald of Ragan, Herald of Beloth) spawn at the base of the center ramp (they will not aggro you if you stay far enough away from their location):

Lunanyn shouts, 'That Arelis might live in peace and grow verdantly, that the sacrifice of my friend will not be in vain, I commit my body to the blood of Ragan.'

Kolos shouts, 'That the land of Kolos grow stronger and stronger, that Kolos get old body and beat some faces, Kolos commit new body to the blood of Beloth.'

Illdaera shouts, 'That Argath might stand strong and independent, I commit my body to the blood of Galvos.'

Herald of Galvos says, in Alaran, 'Clever beings. Foolish and clever. Why do you concern yourselves with our affairs? Why do you confront us at every turn? Our order is perfection. Our rule raises all beings beyond their capabilities. You sew discord and would have us cast into the dark depths from whence we so recently emerged. There is no place for you in our new world.'

Herald of Ragan says, in Alaran, 'We should have forbidden you to come here. We knew your kind was disruptive and lawbreaking. But we had hope that your numbers would swell the ranks of our faithful. We were wrong. You are more trouble than you are worth. Forthwith a new law must be decreed: Death to any non-Alaran among us!'

Herald of Beloth says, in Alaran, 'We should have punished more harshly. They are still alive. Yes, we should have riven their limbs with stakes and set them upon our parapets. We should have fed their living entrails to the gorals and selyrahs. We should have sewn into their flesh the most poisonous of spiders. Let us not pass this opportunity again!'

Destroy the Heralds of Galvos, Ragan, and Beloth 0/3 (Sepulcher of Order)

Task Window Says: It has worked. The barrier has been lowered. The Triumvirate is not pleased. Confront their avatars.

The three Heralds can be split from one another, but they have a large assist range and a large aggro range. Each of them has around 3 million hitpoints (not counting any regen effects they may have).

If they are left idle for too long a time, they despawn, but can be re-triggered by right-clicking a statue. Even if you have killed one of them, all three will respawn upon a re-click. Note that you don't actually need to kill the three different Heralds. You just need three kill credits. You could kill the same one back-to-back-to-back (despawning and re-triggering each time) and it will still update the task.

"Herald of Galvos" hits for a max ~27,000 and casts "Divine Frustration"; "Oppressive Regulation"; "Strength Regained"; and "Godly Regeneration":

No innocence will be found.'

"Herald of Beloth" hits for a max ~27,000; casts "Divine Frustration"; and is believed to be the Herald that spawns the numerous adds called "a punishment" (hit for a max ~400 ? but spawn in large numbers).

Today first slained Ancient Well of Strength did not drop Strength Sap of Kolos but Blue Diamond. It seems that Ancient Well of Strength still repops until loot step is updated.
We failed next try, damn.

I just 3-boxed this task using druid, beast, warrior, plus 3 mercs. Total time start to finish just under 3 hours. Could easily shave time from the three "Take the Statue to the Relic" steps using DA or any other immunity, or simply train the see-invis out of your way; get close to the Relic and it updates, no need to plow a path through the crowd of mobs if its avoidable. The script that spawns the mobs in Argath, Valley, and Beasts seems a little sluggish, took a minute for the mob in Argath to appear, same with the tree in Valley. The dragon on the hill in Beasts probably took a full 3 minutes to appear -- I ran laps around the hill a few times and scouted the nearby area before he finally popped. Each of the three weren't any sort of challenge for a group capable of doing Sepulcher tasks. None of them are agro until you provoke them. Local trash does not assist any of them.

The three Heralds in Sepulcher at the pools are simple to get single simply because they con indifferent and other zone trash will not assist them. I set up inside one of the doorway corridors south of the pools. I killed zero trash mobs to clear space to work. Waited for the see-invis roamer on the center ramp to move away, clicked the statue base of the ramp, the click does not break invis. Moved back to the stairs and tagged a Herald, all three came a'runnin. Hit one with snare at the last moment and hit fade. Other two pathed home. Single mob cheesy easy.

These Heralds are no slouches. Keep Galvan's debuff cured or you'll take some ugly spell damage. Combined with a heavy melee round, a nuke blast will ruin your day. I didn't fool with Beloth once I read about his swarm of adds. Spawned the three, killed Galvan and Ragan, and let Beloth despawn. Triggered it again, killed Galvan again. Herald kill x3 = done. Doesn't matter which three you kill.

Task does not have a lock-point. I was able to add three others after the Herald kills and before the final Hail to Illdaera.

When does it say this? Also, can you copy/paste the dialogues from your logs? It looks like there are few typos we'd rather have correct. Thanks in advance.

I was able to 3 box this task with just T4 VOA group gear.
Here are some comments that may help.
1. The trigger points for Transcendent Steel, Everliving Growth and Ancient Well of Strength are as stated above and each has around 2 million HP.
2. Transcendent Steel casts 2 spells:

6. The person looting the parts will have to do the combine to create the Lifeless Statues .Once he takes each statue to their respective relics, each member of the group will get an animated statue that can be used to trigger the last 3 mobs. You only have to be near the relic to get the update, and can be any member of the group, not only the one holding the lifeless statues.
7. The last 3 Named spawn in the middle ramp of the large center room with the 3 pools. To trigger them you have to click on one of the animated statues at the bottom of the ramp. You can do that while invis, preferably double invis, and then move back to single pull them. Is better to pull them inside one of the corridors to avoid adds.
8. If you take too long, they despawn and you have to click the statue again. If you kill one, wipe or take too long to pull another, they also despawn. When you trigger them again, all 3 will be back up, but you will have credit for the one killed.

10. Herald Galvos has about 3 million HP but may depend on how many times he regenerates. He also casts 3 other spells:

Destroy the Heralds of Galvos, Ragan, and Beloth 0/3 (Sepulcher of Order)

got to this part 3boxing (ranger full VoA Raid T2 gear (90k hps 8200ac), rogue, Bst + mercs) poped a merc tank for this fight, it got destroyed, then it hit me for 27k task is easy till the 3 named at the end.
