This is a solo task that begins with Alchemist Xortiv in Erillion, the City of Bronze (found at about 400, 260, 1). Items for this are pre-lootable.

Pre-requisites for requesting the task:
- No tasks
- 81 Skill Level in Alaran


You say, 'Hail, Alchemist Xortiv'

Alchemist Xortiv says, in Alaran, 'Nobody [listens] to me! I believe I found a list of ingredients to concoct a potion that just may end the strange dreams the citizens are having.'

You say, 'No one listens?'

Alchemist Xortiv says, in Alaran, 'I have told various members of the government about my potion, but they don't seem to care! Do you think you could try to [make] the potion for me?'

You say, 'I could make it...'

Alchemist Xortiv says, in Alaran, 'Great! Go forth and collect two [Strangleweed Seeds], a [Vial of Oashim Saliva], two [Hurpuc Fruits], a [Vial of Grendlaen Blood], a [Patch of Braxi Fur], and a [Selyrah Tooth]. Combine all of these ingredients in the mortar and pestle I gave to you to make the potions. Some citizens have agreed to test the potions. Once you make the potions, give them to Alijara, Plonari, Donair, and Wanidor.'

You receive a Mortar and Pestle (an 8-slot container).

You have been assigned the task 'Stop the Dreams'.

You have met an alchemist who believes they may have found a cure for the dreams that the citizens are having. Make the potion and give it to some of the citizens to see if it works or not.

You say, 'Strangleweed Seeds?'

Alchemist Xortiv says, in Alaran, 'You can get the seeds from the strangleweeds that inhabit the hills outside of the city.'

You say, 'Vial of Oashim Saliva?'

Alchemist Xortiv says, in Alaran, 'You should be able to get a sample of oashim saliva from the oashim outside of the city.'

You say, 'Hurpuc Fruits?'

Alchemist Xortiv says, in Alaran, 'The cooks in the city often have hurpuc fruit. Perhaps you can get some fruit from them.'

You say, 'Vial of Grendlaen Blood?'

Alchemist Xortiv says, in Alaran, 'Get a sample of grendlaen blood from the grendlaens outside of the city.'

You say, 'Patch of Braxi Fur?'

Alchemist Xortiv says, in Alaran, 'Any of the braxi outside of the city will do. Just get a patch of their fur.'

You say, 'A Selyrah Tooth?'

Alchemist Xortiv says, in Alaran, 'Get a tooth from any of the selyrah outside of the city.'


Collect some Strangleweed Seeds 0/2 (Erillion)

Collect a Vial of Oashim Saliva 0/1 (Erillion)

Collect some Hurpuc Fruit 0/2 (Erillion)

Collect a Vial of Grendlaen Blood 0/1 (Erillion)

Collect a Patch of Braxi Fur 0/1 (Erillion)

Collect a Selyrah Tooth 0/1 (Erillion)

These are a very common drop from the above mob types. All but the cooks are found roaming about outside the city's boundaries. The cooks can be found in the second floors of baking buildings (one in the north-central cluster of buildings and another in the northeastern cluster).

Combine the items in the mortar and pestle to create the Potion of Dreamless Sleep 0/1 (Erillion)

Test one of the Potions of Dreamless Sleep on Alijara 0/1 (Erillion)

Alijara is found in the northwestern cluster of buildings at about 620, 780, 1.

You gently tilt Alijara's head back and give them a sample of the potion. Nothing appears to happen.

Test one of the Potions of Dreamless Sleep on Plonari 0/1 (Erillion)

Plonari is in found in the south-central cluster of buildings at about -840.82, -110, 1. NOTE: There is a guard outside Plonari's room.

You gently tilt Plonari's head back and give them a sample of the potion. Nothing appears to happen.

Test one of the Potions of Dreamless Sleep on Donair 0/1 (Erillion)

Donair is found in the northeastern cluster of buildings at about 685, -780, 1.

You gently tilt Donair's head back and give them a sample of the potion. Nothing appears to happen.

Test one of the Potions of Dreamless Sleep on Wanidor 0/1 (Erillion)

Wanidor is found in the southeastern cluster of buildings at about -620, -855, 1.

You gently tilt Wanidor's head back and give them a sample of the potion. Nothing appears to happen.

Speak with Alchemist Xortiv 0/1 (Erillion)

You say, 'Hail, Alchemist Xortiv'

Alchemist Xortiv says, in Alaran, 'The potion didn't work? It's back to the drawing board I guess. Thanks for trying.'

It seems the items are prelootable; I already had half of the stuff when I got the task and the matching steps immediately were flagged "Done".
