Veil of Alaris Information & Guides: An Overview | Group Progression & Task List | Raid Progression | Visible Armor

This task is the second in a series of three; a shared task (1-6 players) that begins with Gibbledon Cogboggle in Windsong Sanctuary, located at about 20, -185, -32 (due west of the zone-in -- the southern entrance to the inner grassy area).

Pre-requisites for requesting the task:
- Completion of "Stranger in a Strange Land"
- 81 Skill Level in Alaran

You say, 'Hail, Gibbledon Cogboggle'

Gibbledon Cogboggle says 'So eager! I like that. Yes, what were we discussing last? Oh, yes, the [instruments] that the Alarans here carry.'

You say, 'What instruments?'

Gibbledon Cogboggle says 'Get me some so that I can examine them.'

You have been assigned the task 'Getting Down to Business'.

You have agreed to help Gibbledon Cogboggle with his research in Windsong Sanctuary.

NOTE: All items in this task are pre-lootable.

Deliver the Windsong Horn to Gibbledon Cogboggle 0/1 (Windsong Sanctuary)

Deliver the Windsong Flute to Gibbledon Cogboggle 0/1 (Windsong Sanctuary)

Deliver the Windsong Drum to Gibbledon Cogboggle 0/1 (Windsong Sanctuary)

The above three items are dropped randomly by Alarans in the zone.

Speak with Gibbledon Cogboggle 0/1 (Windsong Sanctuary)

You say, 'Hail, Gibbledon Cogboggle'

Gibbledon Cogboggle examines the instruments at great length. 'I feel a tinge of magic in these instruments, but nothing too extraordinary. Interesting none the less though. I feel I can trust you with my [secret] now.'

You say, 'What secret?'

Gibbledon Cogboggle says 'I came here to see if I could somehow reverse engineer one of these instruments and use it to disrupt the communication between Ryken and the Alarans. Things haven't gone as planned however. Not only were my tools stolen, but my schematics for my device as well. I think you can be trusted to help me complete my research. Am I [correct]?'

You say, 'Correct'

Gibbledon Cogboggle says 'I knew I was right about you. When I arrived, I was immediately attacked by a vicious wind elemental. Its strong winds blew my schematics out of my backpack and tore them into pieces. If you could find the pieces, perhaps I could salvage them.'

Deliver the first piece of the schematics to Gibbledon Cogboggle 0/1 (Windsong Sanctuary)

Deliver the second piece of the schematics to Gibbledon Cogboggle 0/1 (Windsong Sanctuary)

Deliver the third piece of the schematics to Gibbledon Cogboggle 0/1 (Windsong Sanctuary)

Deliver the fourth piece of the schematics to Gibbledon Cogboggle 0/1 (Windsong Sanctuary)

These are dropped by mobs in the inner area of the zone (animal types).

Speak with Gibbledon Cogboggle 0/1 (Windsong Sanctuary)

You say, 'Hail, Gibbledon Cogboggle'

Gibbledon Cogboggle says 'You actually found them? I was right in trusting you! You are amazing! The pieces look a bit worse for wear, but I think I can read them.'

Horn drops commonly from wind archers
Drums drops commonly from rope Allarans
Flute seems to be the most uncommon drops from robe Allarans - even they hold flute on the graphics, they don't always have it
