Veil of Alaris Information & Guides: An Overview | Group Progression & Task List | Raid Progression | Visible Armor

This is the fifth task in a series of five; a shared task (1-6 players) that begins with Tiljin of the Deep in Sarith, located in the northeastern part of the dock area with the Kedge.

Pre-requisites for requesting the task:
- Completion of "Oseka's Knowledge"
- Completion of "Sacred Relics"
- Completion of "Tides of Change"
- Completion of "The Key to Freedom"
- 73 Skill Level in Alaran

You say, 'Hail, Tiljin of the Deep'

Tiljin of the Deep says 'I hope you're here to [help], otherwise I have no time for distractions.'

You say, 'I'm here to help'

Tiljin of the Deep says 'Good. We are beginning our offense against the Temple of Rubak Oseka. We plan to [weaken] the structure and hopefully draw the high priest out of hiding.'

You receive 4x "An Explosive Rune".

You have been assigned the task 'Begin the Offensive'.

Tiljin of the Deep has tasked you with gathering samples of a strange, powdered coral held by the Hadal in the Temple of Rubak. When combined with the runes you were given, a highly explosive device can be created.

You say, 'How to we weaken the temple?'

Tiljin of the Deep says 'Take these runes. Alone, they are harmless. Infused with a certain [item], and they can cause large amounts of damage.'

You say, 'What item?'

Tiljin of the Deep says 'You will need to collect some samples of a powdered coral that the Hadal use for various ceremonies inside Rubak. The coral, in powder form, is strangely reactive to water and certain magics. We have found that under the correct circumstances, it becomes a highly effective [explosive].'

You say, 'Explosive?'

Tiljin of the Deep says 'We have placed specialized rune holders at various locations on the outside walls of the Temple of Rubak. Once you have the powdered coral, you will need to place the runes at these locations and then apply the powdered coral to the runes. That will prime the runes to explode when we are ready for them to do so.'

Obtain samples of powdered coral from Hadal Priests in the Temple of Rubak 0/4 (Rubak Oseka)

This is a common drop from Hadal mobs in Rubak. NOTE: This is NOT pre-lootable.

Place an Explosive Rune in the first rune holder on the outside wall of the Temple of Rubak 0/1 (Sarith)

Place one sample of the Powdered Coral in the first rune holder on the outside wall of the Temple of Rubak 0/1 (Sarith)

Place an Explosive Rune in the second rune holder on the outside wall of the Temple of Rubak 0/1 (Sarith)

Place one sample of the Powdered Coral in the second rune holder on the outside wall of the Temple of Rubak 0/1 (Sarith)

Place an Explosive Rune in the third rune holder on the outside wall of the Temple of Rubak 0/1 (Sarith)

Place one sample of the Powdered Coral in the third rune holder on the outside wall of the Temple of Rubak 0/1 (Sarith)

Place an Explosive Rune in the fourth rune holder on the outside wall of the Temple of Rubak 0/1 (Sarith)

Place one sample of the Powdered Coral in the fourth rune holder on the outside wall of the Temple of Rubak 0/1 (Sarith)

The rune holders are on the outside of the temple underwater. The first rune is the west one; the second is the southeast one; the third is the northeast one; the fourth is the southwest one.

Be advised there are mobs in the vicinity of the runes, some of which see invisibility.

Return to Tiljin of the Deep in Sarith and speak with him 0/1 (Sarith)

You say, 'Hail, Tiljin of the Deep'

Tiljin of the Deep says, 'So all four of the runes have been placed and the powdered coral applied to them? You have done well. The next phase of our plan will be much more dangerous. General Serobi, here in Sarith, will have more information for you when you are ready to proceed.'

they are each located on the end of the long spikey things of the shell, under the water- about halfway between the ground and the top on each one, but varies a bit. a little searching will find them. beware of the sharks! :)
