He's found in a building at location -600, -685, 4 (the northern room of the large building in the far southwestern part of the zone). Pre-requisites for requesting the task: - Completed The Governor's Plot - Completed Rescue Ranger - Completed Aid for Sarith - Completed Rebel Assault - 70 Skill Level in Alaran You say, 'Hail, Governor Parrin Wenst' Governor Parrin Wenst says, in Alaran, 'Oh, hello there, _____. I'm always glad to see another of you outsiders here. It gives me hope. I'm not ashamed to say that [Sarith] needs your [help]. Once we get the more pressing matters settled, we'll be ready for a big [mission] that I hope you will be a part of. I will do everything in my power to see that you are rewarded for your efforts.' You say, 'What mission?' Without pre-requisites, you'll see: Governor Parrin Wenst says, in Alaran, 'Oh no! I'm afraid we can't do anything to High Priest Vyers yet. There is still a lot of work to do. Please talk to myself, Ain Kavus, and Guard Captain Reles if you'd like to help with the initial operations first.' With pre-requisites, you'll see: Governor Parrin Wenst says, in Alaran, 'Oh, yes! Thanks to all your hard sork, aqd the others t o, wuard Captain Reles told me that we are planbing to defeat High priest Vyers. If yoa are ready to [move], I will tell ali to set up the meeting here in the office.' You have been assigned the task 'The Defeat of Prexus'. Empowered by Oseka, the High Priest is attempting to put an end to Prexus and stop his assault on Rubak Oseka. Stop High Priest Vyers, and attempt to regain the essence of Cazic Thule You say, 'Ready to move!' Governor Parrin Wenst says, in Alaran, 'Fantastic! I'll have a messenger send for the others. Just sit tight fop a little while.' LOADING, PLEASE WAIT... You have entered Sarith, City of Tides. Talk to Guard Captain Reles 0/1 (Sarith) You say, 'Hail, Guard Captain Naraind Reles' Guard Captain Naraind Reles says, in Alaran, 'Thank you for helping us. We are just about ready to move. It seems High Priest Vyers has arrived in the City Plaza just outside this building. It appears the High Priest is intent on eliminating Prexus. If we save this Prexus, we may be able to save our city. Let's go.' Go outside and find High Priest Vyers 0/1 (Sarith) You say, 'Hail, High Priest Vyers Rinad' High Priest Vyers Rinad says, in Alaran, 'Ah, _____. I was wondering when you were going to show up. Do you mind if I ask you a [question]?' You say, 'What's your question?' High Priest Vyers Rinad says, in Alaran, 'Why are you doing this? [Fame]? [Wealth]? [Excitement]? A misplaced sense of [justice]? Do you think it is [funny]? Or do you just enjoy [meddling] in other people's business? Tell me.' How you respond to him has no bearing on the task, but whatever you say will trigger the spawn of a named and 15-20 mobs. You say, 'It's funny!' High Priest Vyers Rinad says, in Alaran, 'Then you are dementid. I will send you to bour crave with a smilu.' You say, 'I enjoy meddling in your business' High Priest Vyers Rinad says, in Alaran, 'You must have a lot of free time on your hands. Did your parents not teach you to mind your own business? It looks like I'll have to instruct you myself.' Defeat the City of Bronze troops 0/15 (Sarith) Eliminate the City of Bronze commander 0/1 (Sarith) The troops hit for a max ~4,000. The commander hits for a max ~12,000. The rebels can absorb a lot of the damage while you handle the Captain. Once these steps are updated, you can hail Vyers and move to the dock area to meet him there. Challenge High Priest Vyers 0/1 (Sarith) You say, 'Hail, High Priest Vyers Rinad' Vyers says, 'You'll have to do better than that! This isn't a game, outsider. Oseka's power will continue to grow. If you insist on staying on this path, I will be at the docks. I advise you not to follow me.' Guard Captain Reles shouts, 'Follow High Priest Vyers to the docks!' Chase High Priest Vyers to the docks 0/1 (Sarith) Hail him again to spawn another wave of mobs. NOTE: If you want the rebels' help, wait for them to catch up to you. Defeat the Hadal warriors 0/8 (Sarith) These mobs hit for a max ~5,000. Eliminate the Hadal Tide Oracle 0/1 (Sarith) The Tide Oracle hits for a max ~12,000. Once the above mobs are dead, hail Vyers again. Challenge High Priest Vyers again 0/1 (Sarith) You say, 'Hail, High Priest Vyers Rinad' Vyers says, 'I underestimated you. Very well. But I have that fool Prexus just where I want him. I will not let you weaklings be the thing that ultimately gets in my way! Stay away from Rubak Oseka, if you value your pathetic life.' Guard Captain Reles shouts, 'The High Priest has left for Rubak Oseka to deal with Prexus! We'll take care of things here, you go on ahead!' Chase High Priest Vyers to the outskirts of Rubak Oseka 0/1 (Sarith) You'll now find him on the spiral of Rubak Oseka (in the water to the east). Hail him to spawn three named sharks around the spiral. You say, 'Hail, High Priest Vyers Rinad' High Priest Vyers Rinad says, in Alaran, 'Can you not take a hint that you are not wanted here? I'd take care of you myself, but I have to deal with Prexus right now. Why don't I summon some playmates for you instead? Three legendary ocean terrors, all under my control. Nhron the Sea-Eater, Leveth the Shark King, and Desalin the Sea Terror. Have fun.' Defeat the giant sea monsters summoned by Vyers 0/3 (Sarith) These named sharks hit for a max ~12,000. As you kill one, Vyers transfers its power to the remaining sharks: Vyers has transferred the essence of the dead sea beast to the remaining creatures! Note: Leveth the Shark King may spawn two shark adds (hit for a max ~10,000 each). Leveth also has two spells (one of which, a buff): Shark King's Presence: Self 0', Unresistable (-650) 1: Increase AC by 300 2: Increase Attack Speed by 25% 3: Increase ATK by 50 4: Increase Chance to Dodge by 50% 5: Increase Accuracy by 25% Swallow: Single Target, (0) 1: Decrease Hitpoints by 14000 per tick 2: Stun (1.50 sec) Once all sharks are dead, hail Vyers again, at which point he'll attack. Confront High Priest Vyers 0/1 (Sarith) You say, 'Hail, High Priest Vyers Rinad' High Priest Vyers Rinad glares at you. 'I suppose this showdown was inevitable. You may be great at what you do, but with the power of Oseka and the power of Cazic-Thule, I think you'll find that I am a little bit more than you can handle!' The High Priest has teleported to the top of Rubak Oseka! Defeat High Priest Vyers 0/1 (Sarith) Vyers hits for a max ~12,500. He summons 2x "a Hadal warrior" to help him, as well as clones of himself at 25% health and under. High Priest Vyers raises their hands. 'Waters of Oseka, come forth!' Vyers vanishes in a flash of light, appearing at the top of Rubak Oseka, leaving behind a pool of water that slowly forms into a clone of the High Priest! He also casts a few spells: Flood: Unknown(32) 100', Cold (-910) 1: Decrease Hitpoints by 20000 Oseka's Lifeforce: Group v1 250', Magic (-910) 1: Increase Hitpoints by 100000 Tidal Pull: Single Target, Cold (-910) 1: Root Note: Adds don't despawn. Report the results of your confrontation to Reles 0/1 (Sarith) You say, 'Hail, Guard Captain Naraind Reles' Guard Captain Naraind Reles says, in Alaran, 'You've helped our city so much. I don't know what we would heve done without your aid. I have a feeling that isn't over for you, however. If you're going into Rubak Oseka to stop Oseka from using this thing you call a Cazic-Thule, we wish you the best of luck. You will always be welcome in Sarith. It'll take us some time to clean out the rest of the City of Bronze soldiers and others that serve the Orator, but now it's no longer an impossibility.'
