Having never bothered with any of the holiday missions I thought I'd try this one. Completed the prerequisite task quickly but this one took about three hours and I feel like I mostly wasted my time. It's clear this mission was slapped together as quickly and cheaply as possible. You've got a copy-pasted version of an instance zone where you're sent to "talk to" a single mob who happens to be on the other side of the zone from where you start. That's it, that's the entire mission - just a paper thin excuse to plow your way through a densely packed area while nothing happens storywise.
Not that it won't get interesting... or should I say "interesting" because many of the spawns were bugged and ended up in the walls. Since there was no ground under them they'd fall continuously, warp back to their spawn point, then fall again. I noticed this when the camera clipped into the ground while getting through the entrance hallway and noticed movement out of the corner of my eye. Sure enough it was a drachnid stuck in that aforementioned loop. I could just barely see a bit of their name tag through the wall each time they warped back up. This turned out to be a huge problem because there were a bunch of enemies spawned erroneously this way and they could still be aggroed (mostly assist aggro) whereupon they warped somewhere else in the zone and I must once again stress this is a DENSELY PACKED ZONE causing a massive train. So yeah I wiped like four times (well, okay, the shaman in my three box team managed to gate out each time but only just barely). The only silver lining of this was the mob that started the train would then be in bounds when I got back.
Oh and when sitting at the entrance medding/buffing I had a drachnid warp on top of my team and aggro so that's also a thing that can happen.
Then you have the Skinwalker who of course is not tuned in any way appropriate for the rest of the mission and hits three to four times harder. Fast too. My level 96 beastlord was the one I ran up to do the hail and she got back to the rest of the group who was waiting down below in that same room at 25% health. Had to chain-spam heals on the same level merc tank just to keep them alive. Don't ask me how anyone is supposed to watch the combat spam to figure out which Skinwalker is real because it flies by way too fast when you're fighting just one opponent. Fighting three at the same time? Forget about it.
In short, unless you're going for the achievement or you really want the bunny there are about a thousand better ways to spend your time in game than with this garbage.
