    This is the third of three solo tasks in a series that begins with Sage Jarith in Sanctum Somnium. He's an Erudite that wanders around the entrance area of the zone. Beware of KOS mobs in his vicinity while talking to him.

    You must have completed his first two tasks, "Morell's Sanctuary" and "Dreamland Assault" prior to being able to request this one.

    You say, 'Hail, Sage Jarith'

    Sage Jarith says 'Morell has us trapped here, but I believe there is a way out. I have a [plan]. If it is going to work though, I'll need your help, as well as any other captives in this bizarre dream world.'

    You say, 'Remind me of your plan...'

    Sage Jarith says 'First, we'll need to [search] this tower and make contact with the rest of the people trapped here. Next, I'll need your help gathering components for a [device] that can dispel some of Morell's magic and hopefully weaken him. Finally, we'll use the device near that locked [tower] that seems so important. I have a feeling that's where Morell is hiding.'

    You say, 'What about the tower?'

    Sage Jarith says 'This is it! Take the device, and bring it in close proximity to that inaccessible tower. My work will take it from there. Then, you'll need to deal with the forces Morell sends out. Good luck.'

    You have been assigned the task 'The Key to the Tower'.

    Jarith's actions have caused Morell to retaliate. Jarith believes that if the forces Morell has sent can be destroyed, Morell's power will significantly weaken.



    Get the device from Jarith and bring it near the tower 0/1 (Sanctum Somnium)

    You say, 'Hail, Sage Jarith'

    Sage Jarith says 'Here you are. Please don't lose or destroy it. Do you know how difficult this was to make? Good luck!'

    With "Sage's Dispel Device" in hand, walk towards Morell's tower in the southern part of the zone (nothing will happen to you; you can do this while invis).

    Defeat the tower wardens 0/3 (Sanctum Somnium)

    Defeat the tower servants 0/3 (Sanctum Somnium)

    Defeat the tower guardians 0/3 (Sanctum Somnium)

    Any wardens, servants, and guardians in the zone will update the above three steps.

    Defeat Morell's Commander 0/1 (Sanctum Somnium)

    The Commander spawns outside the door to Morell's tower. He's a fairly straightforward fight. If you can handle trash in the zone, this will be simple enough.

    Morell`s Commander has been slain by _____!
    Morell`s Commander's corpse lets out a death rattle and crumples to the floor.

    Speak with Jarith 0/1 (Sanctum Somnium)

    You say, 'Hail, Sage Jarith'

    Sage Jarith says 'As expected, you've done it. My knowledge and your power are a potent combination, my friend. Can't you feel it? Morell is quite distracted thanks to my device and your killing of a powerful creature he created. I'm sure you'll be able to access the tower now, but I must gather the others and escape here, now that we can. If you intended to face Morell, I wish you the best of luck.'

    Morell's dream world is starting to shudder, and he has lost control over most of the dreamers. Jarith and the others can escape now, but Morell still resides in his tower.

    This is an easy repeatable task. Can be done in about 15 mins max. The only problems come if a named is in the route to the tower. The ones that pop up n there are:
    a shieldbearer guardian and a bright warden, but these can also pop in other locations.


    1. Drop invis
    2. Hail Sage and after "plan", then ask for "tower"
    3. Hail Sage to get the device (if you have it on you the task will still continue, but you have to hail Sage.
    3. Check for named's.

    Assuming no named's then
    4. Invis and run south up the stairs, and intothe tower corridor and through the haze. This should trigger the first stage complete.
    5. Now you have to kill 3 gardians, wardens, and servants. One of each are past the haze, so need only kill 2 of each bevore you start up the tower path. I like to kill the 2 gardians an warden in the corridor, and then a couple of servants and warden in the middle.
    6. go along the tower steps, and kill a gardian, servant, and then warden.
    7. Now kill the commander.
