This solo task begins with Curator Risald in the Library. He's located in the room next to the zone-in.
You say, 'Hail, Curator Risald' Curator Risald says 'You do not appear to be a dreamer. You should not be in this place. However, since you are here, perhaps I can make use of you. I have a [problem] that must be addressed.' You say, 'What problem?' Curator Risald says 'An inventory was recently conducted and we found several books have been removed from the library. Obviously we need these books to be returned and that's where you come in. Would you be willing to [search] the house and surrounding grounds for the missing books?' You say, 'I'll search for them' Curator Risald says 'How fortunate. Some of these have been missing for quite some time, while others have vanished only recently. One such book, Fallen Gods, was most recently seen in the hands of Athmos the Poet. I look forward to the return of the missing volumes.' You have been assigned the task 'Book Hunt'. Curator Risald has asked you to locate several books that have gone missing from the library. He has advised you to search the first floor of the house and the surrounding grounds. Curator Risald mentioned that Fallen Gods was last seen in the hands of Athmos the Bard. When you do the final hail you must have all the books in your inventory. When you hail and get credit they disappear.
Repop time on the Sailing book was 6 minutes. I didn't check the others. Most I could pick up without breaking invisibility. Occasionally I had to resort to more creative methods.
This quest (and Athmos's quest that you need to do to get one of the books) is part of the Partisan of the Library achievement, hence part of acquiring Trophy of the Bookkeeper (which bestows a Heroic Wisdom tribute buff).

Final step is to "inform curator Risald that you have found the missing books"

Having trouble getting the final hail acknowledged, anyone else have this issue?

Have the same problem, ... only have last step left (to hail him) and it does absolutely nothing.
