 This is the first of three tasks in a series that begins with Dtaemi in The Well. He's found at location -515, -780, 16 (in the southern part of the easternmost cavern).

You say, 'Hail, Dtaemi'

Dtaemi says 'Hello? Please help me. I've been down here a long time. My [mother] must be worried something fierce.'

You say, 'Your mother?'

Dtaemi says 'We came to the garden and I ran off. I knew I wasn't supposed to, but she wouldn't let me do anything. So I snuck off and found the [well].'

You say, 'The well?'

Dtaemi says 'I just wanted to get a closer look. But when I leaned over the edge I fell. I've been here ever since. At first I heard voices from above, but when I yelled back they couldn't hear me. Now I am [stuck] down here.'

You say, 'How did you get stuck?'

Dtaemi says 'I died trying to find a way out. I cannot go on knowing my mother is still looking for me. She needs to know what happened. If you can [find] her, I can finally be at rest.'

You say, 'I'll find her'

Dtaemi says 'Thank you. I don't know where she is now, but we had talked to one scientist type guy who was here looking at the plants. Maybe he knows where she is.'

You have been assigned the task 'Down the Hole'.

Dtaemi needs your help to track down his mother, who has not seen him since he was lost long ago.


Speak to Giladan the Botanist 0/1 (The Grounds)

Giladan the Botanist is found at location -65, -1700, -105 (due east of the zone-in; just east of the central garden and next to Spensur, the Rk. III spell NPC).

You say, 'Hail, Giladan the Botanist'

Giladan the Botanist says 'I've got too much going on right now to answer questions. If someone can deal with those rotdogs, I am sure I would have more time for inquiries.'

You say, 'Hail, Giladan the Botanist'

Giladan the Botanist says 'A young boy? I do remember a while back some mother looking for her son. He'd apparently gotten lost but they could not find him. Quite a few searchers fell to the creature here in the garden looking for him. So they eventually had to call off the search. She finally left and went back to speak to Shalma in Feerrott about supplies. But I never saw her again.'

Speak to Shalma in the Feerrott 0/1 (The Feerrott)

Shalma is found in the Feerrott just north of the zone-in from the House of Thule. She's on the east side of the riverbank. There are undead mobs in the water, so keep a lookout.

You say, 'Hail, Shalma'

Shalma says 'Yes, I remember that woman. She had no means to pay for anything. But besides that, no one was willing to go look for her son since there were too many who had not returned from the last time they searched. I'd look for any signs that she'd been killed here in Feerrott.'

Kill 10 Tae Ew 0/10 (The Feerrott)

Any "a Tae Ew _____" will do.

Speak to Dtaemi 0/1 (The Well)

You say, 'Hail, Dtaemi'

You have found out that Dtaemi's mother most likely died trying to search for him.

Dtaemi says 'But if she has moved on, what is keeping me here? Thank you, but I may need your help again soon.'

It seems that many Tae Ew are not counting. Killed one at the pyramids, it counts, killed many on the opposite side of the zone, not one single counted!

You need the "green" Tae Ew, not the "brown" Tae Ew. So yes, the ones near the pyramid.

I'm wondering if any Tae Ew will count in the instance feerrott? On zek that would be convienent - so I don't have to worry about gettin 1-rounded by pk while doing this task =P

90 mage with 510aa's got 11aa's for doing this, took 45 minutes. Ludicrously easy quest for the level and experience but who's complaining?!

Note that "a frenzied tae ew" does not "count" for the 10 tae ew you gotta kill.
